Garabandal

Undoubtedly, throughout 2019 we will be hearing words like “The Warning,” The Illumination of the Soul,” “The Miracle,” “The Purification,” “The Chastisement,” “The Three Days of Darkness,” and “The Era of Peace.” It was at Garabandal that major events were allegedly foretold not only of a great coming warning to mankind for its sins, but also a great miracle and terrible chastisement.  And now a new movie, Garabandal, Only God Knows, about the reality of these alleged, pertinent and imminent prophecies in this end of an era:

February 2019

The Month Dedicated to the Holy Family

“…But while he thought on these things,
behold the angel of the Lord
appeared to him in his sleep, saying:
“Joseph, son of David,
fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife,
for that which is conceived in her,
is of the Holy Ghost…”

(Mt 1:20)

Consecration to the Holy Family

O Jesus, our most loving Redeemer, who having come to enlighten the world with Thy teaching and example, didst will to pass the greater part of Thy life in humility and subjection to Mary and Joseph in the poor home of Nazareth, thus sanctifying the Family that was to be an example for all Christian families, graciously receive our family as it dedicates and consecrates itself to Thee this day. Do Thou protect us, guard us and establish amongst us Thy holy fear, true peace and concord in Christian love: in order that by living according to the divine pattern of Thy family we may be able, all of us without exception, to attain to eternal happiness.

Mary, dear Mother of Jesus and Mother of us, by the kindly intercession make this our humble offering acceptable in the sight of Jesus, and obtain for us His graces and blessings.

O Saint Joseph, most holy Guardian of Jesus and Mary, help us by thy prayers in all our spiritual and temporal needs; that so we may be enabled to praise our divine Savior Jesus, together with Mary and thee, for all eternity. Amen.

(Say an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be three times.)

Consecration to the Holy Family and Reflection by St. Bernard...

Our Lady of Emmitsburg

"…Especially now in this world with all the tribulations and turmoil, it is so important for you, my children, to focus not only on my Son, but also on the Holy Family.  There is your protection in a most loving way.  For I wrap my mantle around you, and I protect you.  My beloved Joseph guides you. He represents a just man, and he is an example of true fatherhood for all the world.  And then there is my Son, most glorious and omnipotent.  In His glory, which is so overwhelming, He gently smiles upon you.  Within Him is the greatest glory of the Most Blessed and Holy Trinity…."  (OLOE, August 7, 2003)

Words of God the Father - February 8, 2007

Twelve years ago today, Feb. 8, 2007, God the Father in His Words warned humanity that there is no longer time to despair or to spare and that we will all come to know the absolute Truth:

“…I created a world to be free. However, it has become apparent that "freedom" is now defined in a way different from what it was originally created to mean. You think that there is time to spare; but if you look within your lives and at what you yourself have done, there is not time to despair or to spare. There is only time to be made anew and to be cleansed.

Make no mistake about it; you will know the Truth, whether it be in this your life now or when you meet my Son, your Savior. When you see Me face to face, you will know the absolute Truth. Yet, the time to see Me face to face can only happen after your purgation….

I remain faithful, at all costs. The choice is yours.

Words of God the Father February 8, 2007...

Daily Consecration to the Eternal Father

For the greater glory of God and for the salvation of all, I consecrate myself to You, O' Eternal Father, as one of Your faithful remnant. Behold, I come to do Your Will. With the help of Your Grace, I will keep Your Commandments. I will love and reverence You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I will love my neighbor as You love me.

I make this Consecration through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Your beloved Son, Jesus.

O' Eternal Father, send forth Your Holy Spirit to restore my/our broken image and likeness of You. Send forth also Your entire Heavenly Court, all the celestial choirs of Your angels and all Your Saints, to aid me/us in my/our struggle against all the forces of evil in this present darkness. Amen.

(Adapted from the Father of All Mankind Apostolate)

The Lord's Prayer

How many of us have said the “Our Father” with so little thought, so little reverence, and so little fruitfulness? However, when we are open to the Holy Spirit within us and pray from the heart, look at what can happen:"

Our Father, (“Our” Father—not “My” Father - all of God’s children of all races, all colors & all creeds)

Our Father, (Abba, “Daddy” God)

Who art in Heaven, (and Who art in me)

Hallowed be Thy Name. (Holy be Thy Name, praised be Thy Name, thanks be to Thy Most Holy Name)

Thy Kingdom come. (now - on earth and in me)

Thy Will be done, (now - on earth and in me)

on earth as it is in Heaven. (at the Throne of God, with the Trinity, Our Lady and all the Angels and Saints)

Give us this day our daily bread. (the Bread of your Divine Will, the Bread of Life in the Eucharist, and the bread we need to eat to sustain our bodies)

And forgive us our trespasses(forgive us our sins, our imperfections and our hesitancies in the face of temptation)

As we forgive those (or as we choose not to forgive those) who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,(for we are weak, we are worthless, we are wretched & we are nothing)

But deliver us from evil.(for it is only through your grace, not by our works alone nor our merit that we can escape eternal damnation)

Amen. (So I hope. So be it).

 5th Sunday in Ordinary Time—February 10, 2019

In today’s 2nd liturgical reading, we hear St. Paul discussing first his unworthiness for his call from Our Lord as well as the transforming power of God’s grace:

“…For I am the least of the apostles,
not fit to be called an apostle,
because I persecuted the church of God.
But by the grace of God I am what I am,
and his grace to me has not been ineffective.
Indeed, I have toiled harder than all of them;
not I, however, but the grace of God that is with me….

(Cor 15: 10-11)

Each of us may not have persecuted the Church by physically killing Christians or even their reputations, but we certainly have persecuted Our Lord endlessly through our indifference and our sins.  Yet, through God’s grace, our contrition and the desire to return to Our Father, we have the opportunity to experience that same transformation as did St. Paul.  Let us recall the Words of God the Father to the world, the Lessons of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Messages of Our Lady of Emmitsburg regarding God’s forgiveness of us:

Forgiveness, Part 1

Brief biography and Litany...

What has Our Lord in His Lessons said on the

feast of St. Scholastica?

The Will of My Father is the most critical ingredient to your Happiness!... Do you know the Will of God and accept it?”

WILL OF GOD

What has OLOE said on the feast of holy St. Scholastica?

“…When you surrender to God, you die to your own will and you quiet all the frustrations you encounter by passing them into the Hands of God…. It is the only way to be converted fully into the Body of Christ, My Son….” (OLOE Public 02-10-00)

Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes—February 11, 2019

Invocations to Our Lady of Lourdes...

In 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous near Lourdes, France, identifying herself as “I am the Immaculate Conception,” and calling sinners to conversion as well as prayer and charity, especially for the sick and poor. In more recent times this feast has also been identified with the World Day of Prayer for the Sick.

Join us in a 9-day Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes along with her Litany as we pray together for the physical, psychological and spiritual health of all those who are in need on this World Day of the Sick:

Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes...

What has OLOE said on her great feast of Lourdes?

“…I have spoken in the past that my Son is the Light of the world. If something is not correct, then if you do not speak up and challenge and change this, you will be held accountable. There are many of my beloved Christian children who are so afraid, afraid because they are confused and afraid because they fear disobedience; but there has also been a tremendous sin of omission on the part of some in the Church Hierarchy. Because this is the Center of my Most Immaculate Heart, it is important that all my children, those who are afraid, those who are confused, and those who won’t stand up even if there be the sin of omission, all of them must look to their Mother. I am the Mother of all the children of this world. See how I not only defended my Son, but how I also will defend the Truth, as I will defend you….” (OLOE Private 02-11-06)

"But it is not the same today as it was yesterday, for the moment now is different than yesterday. However, the outcome can be the same because, when Love is the source and core of all your prayers, then all your incentives and efforts, regardless of age and wisdom, lead back to the Truth, as if it was yesterday. You become like a newborn child, comforted within the womb of God." (OLOE Private 02-11-07)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg February 11, 2007...

In the 2008 celebration of the 150th Year Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparitions in Lourdes, France, Pope Benedict XVI used it as an opportunity to address the idolatry in our world and how it has diverted humanity from the Truth:

“…Has not our modern world created its own idols? Has it not imitated, perhaps inadvertently, the pagans of antiquity, by diverting man from his true end, from the joy of living eternally with God? This is a question that all people, if they are honest with themselves, cannot help but ask. What is important in my life? What is my first priority? The word “idol” comes from the Greek and means “image”, “figure”, “representation”, but also “ghost”, “phantom”, “vain appearance”. An idol is a delusion, for it turns its worshipper away from reality and places him in the kingdom of mere appearances. Now, is this not a temptation in our own day – the only one we can act upon effectively? The temptation to idolize a past that no longer exists, forgetting its shortcomings; the temptation to idolize a future which does not yet exist, in the belief that, by his efforts alone, man can bring about the kingdom of eternal joy on earth! Saint Paul explains to the Colossians that insatiable greed is a form of idolatry (cf. 3:5), and he reminds his disciple Timothy that love of money is the root of all evil. By yielding to it, he explains, “some have wandered away from the faith and pierced their hearts with many pangs” (1 Tim 6:10). Have not money, the thirst for possessions, for power and even for knowledge, diverted man from his true Destiny, from the truth about himself?...”

2019 World Day of the Sick

Feb. 11, 2019

Pope Francis’ Homily for this 2019 World Day of the Sick

“You received without payment; give without payment”

(Mt 10:8).

Pope Francis offered the life of St. Teresa of Calcutta, “Mother Teresa,” as the model of a self-giving life to God and to one’s neighbors:

“..I urge everyone, at every level, to promote the culture of generosity and of gift, which is indispensable for overcoming the culture of profit and waste. Catholic healthcare institutions must not fall into the trap of simply running a business; they must be concerned with personal care more than profit. We know that health is relational, dependent on interaction with others, and requiring trust, friendship and solidarity. It is a treasure that can be enjoyed fully only when it is shared. The joy of generous giving is a barometer of the health of a Christian….”

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and every day.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
