***The Times are Urgent***

We Must Heed the Warnings of Our Lady

By Msgr. Charles Pope, October 10, 2017

“…I would caution every soul reading this column

to hope for this chastisement….”

Warnings of dire punishment were given by

Our Lady of Akita in Japan:

“… If men do not repent and better themselves, the Father will inflict a terrible punishment on all humanity. It will be a punishment greater than the deluge, such as one never seen before. Fire will fall from the sky and will wipe out a great part of humanity, the good as well as the bad, sparing neither priests nor faithful. The survivors will find themselves so desolate that they will envy the dead. …

The only arms which will remain for you will be the Rosary and the Sign left by My Son. Each day recite the prayers of the Rosary. With the Rosary, pray for the Pope, the bishops and priests. The demon will be especially implacable against souls consecrated to God. The thought of the loss of so many souls is the cause of my sadness. If sins increase in number and gravity, there will be no longer pardon for them…. (Our Lady of Akita, Message of Oct. 13, 1973).

           Read the entire homily…..

Our Lady of Emmitsburg speaks:

“…Even with the turmoil in the world and the events that have unfolded so far, there still has not been one of the chastisements from my Son.  When that day comes, it will be far worse!...” (Our Lady of Emmitsburg, October 7, 2005, Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary)

Cardinal Raymond Burke and the non-Consecration of Russia

“Recognizing the necessity of a total conversion from atheistic materialism and communism to Christ, the call of Our Lady of Fatima to consecrate Russia to Her Immaculate Heart in accord with Her explicit instruction remains urgent.” (Cardinal Raymond Burke, October 9, 2017)

The Month of the Holy Souls in Purgatory...

Divine Mercy Novena - Day 8: For the Holy Souls in Purgatory...

Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us!!!

Feast of All Saints - November 1

On this day the Church honors not only all the named Saints but the O' so many more unnamed Saints, all of our relatives, friends and acquaintances, all of the "holy disciples" of the Lord, all "holy men and women," even those who finally said "yes" at the moment of their last breath and those who required a time of purification in Purgatory before now resting in their Lord's Most Sacred Heart.

“Who are these wearing white robes,
and where did they come from?”
I said to him,
“My lord, you are the one who knows.”
He said to me,
“These are the ones who have survived
the time of great distress;
they have washed their robes
and made them white in the Blood of the Lamb.”

(Rev 7:13-14)

“Beloved, we are God’s children now;
what we shall be has not yet been revealed.
We do know that when it is revealed
we shall be like him,
for we shall see him as he is.
Everyone who has this hope based on him
makes himself pure,
as he is pure.”

(1Jn 3:2-3)

“Blessed are they
who are persecuted
for the sake of righteousness,
for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you
and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me.
Rejoice and be glad,
for your reward will be great in heaven.”

(Mt 5:10-11)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on her Saint's feast day?

“Life will proceed; however, if man continues to spurn His Mercy, life as you know it will not proceed in the same form. Already there are devastations in the world with human hands as their cause. Humanity is at risk because of the tremendous sin against the Most Sacred Heart of my Son. So your most urgent call should be for the immediate focusing on your own personal, intimate union with the Holy Trinity….” (OLOE Private 11-01-03)

Litany of the Saints...

All Souls’ Day - November 2

Where in the Bible is there justification for Purgatory?

“For if he was not expecting the fallen to rise again,

it would have been useless and foolish to pray for them in death.

But if he did this with a view to the splendid reward

that awaits those who had gone to rest in godliness,

it was a holy and pious thought.

Thus he made atonement for the dead that they might be freed from sin.”

(2 Mac 12:44-46)

(2 Mac 12:44-46)

Latin: “purgare”, to cleanse. In ecclesiastical language, the state or the abode of temporary punishment for those souls, who having died in the state of grace, are not entirely free from venial sins or have not yet fully paid the satisfaction due to their transgressions. It is not a state of positive growth in goodness and in merit, but of purification effected by suffering.... The chief suffering consists in being deprived of the Beatific Vision. Besides this, there is the additional punishment, which according to the common belief of the Western Church, consists in real fire. Souls in Purgatory are certain of their salvation, and are confirmed in good, hence can no longer sin. Since they love God perfectly, they bear their sufferings with resignation. This love of God and resignation to His Holy Will is believed to lessen and mitigate the severest sufferings of Purgatory…. Belief in Purgatory fosters piety. It deters man from venial sin, begets a spirit of penance, gives him occasion to practice charity to the dead, and awakens salutary thoughts of the venial sin, begets a spirit of penance, gives him occasion to practice charity to the dead, and awaken salutary thoughts of life to come.
(Online New Catholic Dictionary)

Many Christians believe that the words, “I’m saved,” assure a free pass to heaven, and many Catholic Christians live their lives as if their goal is just to get to purgatory; however, purgatory is far less than a vacation, and the suffering souls in purgatory greatly need our intercession:

Novena for the Holy Souls in Purgatory...

Memorial Prayer for the Suffering Souls in Purgatory...

Litany for the Holy Souls in Purgatory...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on this All Soul's feast day?

“There are so many souls who are praying for you. I invite you to pray for those people in your lives for whom you have not cared or who have been burdensome for you because they have caused obstacles and challenges in your lives; for those who have since passed on and are now living in the place for the purgation of their souls, which is now underway so that they can see God face to face…. This will also allow you to be able to both forgive and to love those in your present lives who cause obstacles and who do not care for you and what you are doing in your own lives….” (OLOE Private 11-02-03)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg November 2, 2003...

“...The day will come, whether in this world or in the next, when you will have to be holy and purified to see God face to face. But today, very few desire to really change and be purified, to be holy and to be a light. Very few!"

“All things can be mitigated with prayer; however, prayer cannot be one-sided. It must be directed to Divine Providence, to whatever God wills. Enjoy what you have, for the time is limited. The choice for life in this world or that in eternity is at hand. Yes, you will have till your last breath, but all are welcomed into Heaven immediately. Few want to be purged in this life so they can enjoy Heaven immediately....” (OLOE Private 11-02-08)

Promise of Our Lord to St. Gertrude the Great
A Prayer to Free 1000 Souls from Purgatory

Our Lord told St. Gertrude the Great that the following prayer would release 1000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said. The prayer was later extended to include living sinners as well:

"Eternal Father, I offer thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen" (Approved and recommended by M. Cardinal Pahiarca at Lisbon, Portugal, March 4, 1936)

The Flame of Love of the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Excerpts of the Spiritual Diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann

Budapest, Hungary

Elizabeth Kindelmann was the sole survivor of 13 children during the war and disease-ridden years of World War I in Budapest, Hungary. She lived in poverty till age 16 when she married. She had 6 children between 1931-1942, and then in 1946 her husband died, leaving her a widow with 6 children. Until 1961 she lived a life of poverty and survival, raising her children during a very difficult time. Then in 1962 she received a mystical call and a mission from Our Lord and Our Lady. Her spiritual diary was published and translated after her death, and the "Flame of Love Movement" has been approved by Bernardino Cardinal Echeveria Ruiz, Archbishop of Guayaquil, Equador, in June 1989, and the statutes of the movement approved for the whole Church on Oct. 22, 1996.

The Blessed Mother to Elizabeth regarding the Souls in Purgatory:

“…If at any time, you recite in my honor three Hail Mary's by calling upon my Flame of Love, each time a soul will be released from Purgatory. During the month of the deceased (November), upon the recitation of each Hail Mary, ten souls will be released from Purgatory….”

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
"Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners,
and spread the effect of grace
of thy Flame of Love over all of humanity,

now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”

The Litany of St. Martin de Porres...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on St. Martin's great feast?

“…It's a war - a spiritual war — a walk not easy. But in your heart, you can never be separated from the Truth, the Light, the Covenant of His Love, nor me. I am part of you, and I will never leave you - always to guide you, bless you and direct you to my Son…. Where your heart is, I am there too. Remember, the great treasure from Heaven is my Son in His Eucharist; and there I will be too, sharing His Love and His Passion, and dwelling within you for all your days….

“…Even if man should forget you, you will never be forgotten, for God has selected each one of you as one amongst many. Few are chosen. So many are asked, and many try; but few chosen to fulfill God's Divine Plan. For when it becomes difficult, so many scatter. Fear envelops them when there is doubt and lack of their own interior signs and prayers answered. So they scatter and become bitter….” (OLOE Private 11-03-07)

Feast of St. Charles Borromeo - November 4

Patron of Seminarians

“If a tiny spark of God's Love already burns within you, do not expose it to the wind, for it may get blown out. Keep the stove tightly shut so that it will not lose its heat and grow cold. In other words, avoid distractions as well as you can. Stay quiet with God. Do not spend your time in useless chatter. If teaching and preaching is your job, then study diligently and apply yourself to whatever is necessary for doing the job well. Be sure that you first preach by the way you live. If you do not, people will notice that you say one thing, but live otherwise, and your words will bring only cynical laughter and a derisive shake of the head….” (Bishop St. Charles Borromeo 1538-1584)

31st Sunday in Ordinary Time—November 4, 2018

In today’s first liturgical reading on this 31st Sunday in Ordinary Time, we hear Moses speaking to the people both encouragement and a promise:

“Fear the Lord, your God, and keep, throughout the days of your lives, all His statutes and commandments which I enjoin on you, and thus have long life….The Lord is our God, The Lord alone!  Therefore, you shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength….”  (Deut 6:2-6)

Let us  ponder in the Words of God the Father to the world, the Lessons of Our Lord Jesus Christ & the Messages of Our Lady of Emmitsburg that “holy fear of the Lord which is the beginning of Wisdom” (Ps 111:10):

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
