Feast of St. John Vianney - August 4
The Patron Saint of Parish Priests

“To serve the Queen of heaven is already to reign there,
and to live under her commands is more than to govern.”

“Christian wife!
Follow in the footsteps of the ideal of all womanhood,
the Blessed Mother of God; in joy and in sorrow,
she will be your advocate at the throne of her Son.”

“Jesus Christ, after having given us all He could give,
that is to say, the merit of His toils,
His sufferings and bitter death;
after having given us his adorable Body and Blood
to be the food of our souls,
willed also to give us the most precious thing He had left,
which was His Holy Mother.”
(Favorite Quotes about Our Lady by St. John Marie Vianney,
French priest, 1786-1859)

Pope Benedict XVI on the 150th Year Anniversary of Vianney’s Death

"This Year (2009-2010), meant to deepen the commitment of all priests to interior renewal for the sake of a more forceful and incisive witness to the Gospel in today’s world, will conclude on the same Solemnity in 2010.... ‘The priesthood is the Love of the Heart of Jesus,’ the saintly Cure of Ars would often say.... They should be willing to listen to lay people, give brotherly consideration to their wishes, and acknowledge their experience and competence in the different fields of human activity. In this way they will be able together with them to discern the signs of the times.... While testing the spirits to discover if they be of God, priests must discover with faith, recognize with joy and foster diligently the many and varied charismatic gifts of the laity, whether these be of a humble or more exalted kind. These gifts, which awaken in many people the desire for a deeper spiritual life, can benefit not only the lay faithful but the clergy as well.... To the Most Holy Virgin I entrust this Year for Priests. I ask her to awaken in the heart of every priest a generous and renewed commitment to the ideal of complete self-oblation to Christ and the Church which inspired the thoughts and actions of the saintly Cure of Ars." (Pope Benedict XVI, June 16, 2009)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on St. John Vianney's great feast?

...A message to her priests and the faithful:

“…Here I am in this most blessed area with my Son; and yet, so many people do not recognize the blessing. They are busy with so many other things. Some are not even interested. One thing is for sure, that my Son’s fidelity and Love will never change! Stay strong and firm and loyal to Him, for He has the last say .What seems impossible in today’s world can turn in a moment’s glance. All things are possible with God! If you believe, it happens; and your enemies shall be silent…

“…Soon your sufferings will all dissipate, just as quickly as they came. One day people like you, the next day they hate you. They did the same to my Son. They did the same to me. One day I was the ‘Mother’ of the wonderful Prophet who could not even get close to her Son. The next day I was the ‘mother’ of a criminal and a widow, scorned by society to where I had to leave….” (OLOE Private 08-04-07)

Hopefully, many of you have joined together in this 8-day Novena and Consecration to the Father of All Mankind which ends today. Let us join together as we pray the final consecration prayer. Moreover, the Novena and Consecration can be done over any 8-day period, not just the week preceding the First Sunday in August, the proposed Feast of the Father of All Mankind:

Novena and Consecration for

the Feast of The Father of All Mankind…

Litany of God the Father...

The Litany of Resignation to the Will of God...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on the past Father's feast day?

“…If you trust with all your heart in God, His Divine Will shall unfold. I have said that God the Father has promised to now intervene. This is His Divine Will, when He chooses. Nothing can stop what He desires…. Do not be afraid to die! It is far better to die than to live where there is no peace or love. Eternal happiness awaits all those who desire and trust in God to live and see the most glorious Beatific Vision with the Holy Angels and Saints, and to be blessed by the Presence of the Holy Trinity forever and ever….”(OLOE Public 08-05-07)

What has Our Lord said to his disciples on this18th Sunday in Ordinary Time regarding the Bread of Life?

.. So Jesus said to them,
"Amen, amen, I say to you,
it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven;
my Father gives you the true bread from heaven.
For the bread of God is that which comes down from heaven
and gives life to the world."

So they said to him,
"Sir, give us this bread always."
Jesus said to them,
"I am the bread of life;
whoever comes to me will never hunger,
and whoever believes in me will never thirst."

(Jn 6: 32-35)

What has God given to the Church and the world through Sacred Scripture and Tradition, through private revelation and Eucharistic Miracles, and through science and technology to help us believe that Our Lord Jesus Christ present in the Eucharist is truly the Bread from Heaven, the Bread of Life?

Feast of the Dedication of the Basilica of St. Mary Major

August 5

On this day the Church celebrates the dedication of this early Basilica in Rome to the Blessed Virgin Mary, and it is where the holy crib of Bethlehem is preserved. In her private revelations as the Rosa Mystica in Montichiali, Italy; as the Queen of Peace in Medjugorje, and as Our Lady of Emmitsburg, Mother Mary has stated that her true birthday is on this day, August 5, although the Roman Catholic Church officially celebrates it on September 8. Our Lady of Emmitsburg chose this day, August 5, 2002, to resume her public messages to the world after a 2-year self-imposed silence. And what did she have to say on such a special day?

“When each soul goes before the Father, it will be asked the same question, ‘How have you loved?'…. It is best not to try to defend your reasons for avoiding one another and not loving. The only way to know yourself and God is to love yourself and your neighbor….”  (OLOE Public 08-05-02)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg August 5, 2002...

Then in 2008 Our Lady of Emmitsburg used this opportunity to explain her role in God's Plan on this feast day:

"I have never pressured anyone to believe or to change. I have urged, I have invited, and I have even challenged. I have never condemned, and I have never said that anyone who did not follow the Way of my Son would experience grave consequences. Because of free will, the choice must rest on each soul. I have enlightened and outlined. Ultimately, God the Father will illuminate, and then everyone will know and have to make a decision. There humanity will find grave consequences based off each person's decision. But for me, I only want to protect, to draw, to point and to guide to my Son as the time allows." (OLOE Private 08-05-08)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on her Son's great feast day?

“…With so much embarking upon the world, you can be certain that the more you pray, the more at peace you shall be, and the more God's protection shall embrace you; because you will desire to seek only His Divine Will. I have mentioned that my Son shall no longer allow my Immaculate Heart to be torn. So there are many, many ambassadors of Light who are now rising to the forefront to defend the Center of my Immaculate Heart….

"...No one has to believe. However, no one should mock the works of Mercy or uncharitably judge one another. It is very wise to be prudent and cautious not to blaspheme the Holy Spirit and the gifts given by the Holy Spirit. I am a gift to you! I am a gift to all who desire to receive it. For those who desire not to receive this gift, it is returned back to Heaven from whence it came…." (OLOE Public 08-06-05)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg August 6, 2005...

“…God needs those who will give anything, even their lives, knowing that life is nothing without Him. So, know there is nothing of value in the world without God. If you gain everything, without Him you know you have lost everything. For when you are low and alone, no one can soothe your pain. No one could soothe mine. When you give a ‘fiat' unconditionally, that is what it is meant to be. For you never know, in good or bad times, the response you will get. You flow with the wind, and you go where the Word of God is. It doesn't matter what people say or what people do. They are not the Judge. What is important is your ‘fiat,’ your commitment, and most importantly, the fervent love you have for my Son….” (OLOE Private 08-06-08)

Feast of St. Dominic - August 8
Spanish Dominican Priest and Religious Founder

“Arm yourself with prayer rather than a sword;
wear humility rather than fine clothes.”
(St. Dominic)

St. Dominic and the Rosary...

Litany of St. Dominic...

What has Our Lord Himself warned on St. Dominic's great feast?

“…Woe to those who discredit these, My words of Truth - My priests, My nuns, My theologians, My lay people. I tell you who have received the gift of My intellect: Beware that your pride in My knowledge does not deceive you or distract you. Pray for humility and self-denial. Before you judge My servant, look internally and judge your own pompous actions…” (JOM, Vol I, #74, 08-08-89, Vanity)

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:
August 8, 1989...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on this great Marian Dominican feast?

"I wish you knew how loving God really is. The day will come that you will, but now you place boundaries on yourselves. He is so loving and merciful. If you realized the extent, the breadth and the depth of His most merciful Love, then you would not be able to place boundaries on yourselves or judge yourselves. You would be an open vessel, not caring whether it is good or whether it is evil being done to you, because you belong to God." (OLOE Private 08-08-07)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg August 8, 2007...

“…A man who governs his passions is master of his world.
We must either command them or be enslaved by them.
It is better to be a hammer than an anvil…”

(St. Dominic)

Words of God the Father – August 8, 2006

Twelve years ago today, God the Father in His Words to the world warns of the dangers of thinking we (clerics and laymen) know more than we really know and understand.  Certainly, in regards to Our Lord and Our Lady’s messages and messengers over the last 200 years, it appears that this dangerous behavior has been transformed in to a very immoral and apostate reality:

“…In this time period of corruption and confusion and war and division, so much unfolds among peoples of different cultures and races, of different beliefs and understandings, all of which they believe will bring them to eternal glory….

…Perhaps you had better look to the Truth now and discern it so that you do not commit the sin of omission, but rather reap the benefits and fruits and graces and gifts and healings and the miraculous, awesome, omnipotent blessings.

Perhaps you, who think that you know how God chooses and thinks, believe how wise you are.  However, perhaps even those who are ignorant in your eyes, but who know My Love, will surpass even your knowledge because they are wise in My Eyes….

…Then, then tell Me in your wisdom the reasons why you persuaded and led My people away from Me because you thought you knew when and to whom and how I would communicate.  How it was with the prophets, so too it is today!...If you would but stop and look within and beyond the human mind, you will see the Truth….”  (GTF Aug. 8, 2006)

Feast of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross - August 9
Jewish philosopher, convert, Carmelite nun, martyred at Auschwitz

“There is a state of resting in God,
an absolute break from all intellectual activity,
when one forms no plans, makes no decisions,
and for the first time really ceases to act;
when one simply hands over the future to God’s Will
and surrenders himself to fate.”
(St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross)

Novena Prayer of St. Teresa Benedicta of the Cross...

Pope John Paul II Homily at the Canonization of Edith Stein...

What has OLOE said on this Carmelite saint’s feast day?

“…Disputes should be silenced, and love and unity should be at the core of all charity.  What is it that you desire, if you had one wish, one that you could have fulfilled?  What would that be?  Wisdom?  Unity?  Union with God?”   (Private OLOE, Aug. 9, 2008)

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
