“…The lowly shall be lifted.  It is now the new tomorrow.  Do not look to the past, but live the now.  Do you not see how loved you are?  You can pass off the signs of the times and the man-made catastrophic events, but you cannot pass off what is from God.  God allows things to happen, and all things are possible with God.  The most precious gift you have is my Son in the Most Blessed and Holy Eucharist, and I His Mother am right by His side….”(Our Lady of Emmitsburg, January 1, 2004)

We could listen to Our Lady’s  concern about how humanity, including the Church, seems to “blow off” the signs of the times and just bury our heads in the sand OR we can share an example of what She is still saying in multiple places on all the continents in the world and not be concerned about all the skepticism and doubts about every messenger with total disregard for the message.  Here is an example of a message from a Colombian lay minister that not only warns but provides much needed hope:

Our Lady through Pastor Enoc, July 15, 2018….

‘…Those who will survive the future events must be sound in mind, body & soul, both whole and self-giving.  Many people today are living as if nothing is expected to change in the future.  Yes, only God truly knows the time and the place; but I can assure you that if there were to ever be a "sign" given regarding the coming events in the world, it is now!  It would be foolish not to read the "signs of the times" as you now see them, and foolish not to prepare in prayer with all your hearts and minds, and foolish not to blanket yourselves with humility, which therefore are your protection!”  (Our Lady of Emmitsburg, Sept. 23, 2006, Feast of St. Pio of Pietrelcina)

Feast of St. Lawrence Brundisi - July 21

Italian Capuchin Priest and Doctor of the Church (1559-1619)

On the Admirability of the Virgin Theotokas
from the words of the vision: "A great sign appeared"

“Indeed in all things Mary was a great miracle…. She was born by a miracle - a miracle in body: most beautiful of women; a miracle in soul: the most holy of souls; a miracle in life, super-human, super-angelic, more than seraphic; wonderful in death. For if precious in the sight of the Lord the death of His saints be wherefore often God honors and illustrates the death of His Saints with many miracles; how precious is the death of this His Most Holy Mother to be judged to have been? She was a great miracle after Her death, when having been awakened by her most beloved Son, the Destroyer of death and the Author of life, from a light sleep, she was assumed into Heaven by the company of the Angels, gifted with immortal glory, and wonderfully set at the right hand of the Majesty as the Highest Queen, Spouse of God and true Mother of Christ. Thus indeed: A great sign appeared in Heaven…." (Opera Omnia S. Laurentii a Brundusio, First Sermon)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on this feast of St. Lawrence?

“…This world is in tremendous need of assistance from Heaven above, and God truly stands at the door waiting for you to open it. So many joys and wondrous gifts of healing, happiness and comfort are to come, if only His people would answer….

“…I invite all of you to pray, pray with all your hearts; pray within your families; pray, pray together. You will then learn and be able to receive the gifts of wisdom, prudence, perseverance and temperance. You will be able to discern, but you must pray. You cannot always receive gift after gift; but now is time for you to give and give, so my Jesus your Savior, can receive all of your love….” (OLOE Private 07-21-05)

16th Sunday in Ordinary Time—July 22, 2018

In this first liturgical reading on this 16th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we hear the Lord God chastising the leaders, the shepherds, of His chosen people who have misled and been delinquent in their responsibility to the flock.

 “…Woe to the shepherds
who mislead and scatter the flock of my pasture,
says the LORD.
Therefore, thus says the LORD, the God of Israel,
against the shepherds who shepherd my people:
You have scattered my sheep and driven them away.
You have not cared for them,
but I will take care to punish your evil deeds.
I myself will gather the remnant of my flock
from all the lands to which I have driven them
and bring them back to their meadow;
there they shall increase and multiply….”

(Jer 23:1-6)

Let us recall in the Words of God the Father, the Lessons of Our Lord Jesus Christ and the Messages of Our Lady of Emmitsburg, the warnings about that pharisaical spirit which still appears to permeate and penetrate many circles in our world leaders and in the Church:

Feast of St. Mary Magdalene - July 22

Convert, Disciple of Our Lord & Companion of Our Lady

“Standing by
the Cross of Jesus
were his Mother and His Mother’s sister,
Mary the wife of Clopas,
and Mary of Magdala.”

(Jn 19:25)

"Jesus said to her,
(She turned
and said to him in Hebrew,
which means Teacher….
Mary of Magdala
went and announced
to the disciples,
‘I have seen the Lord.'"
(Jn 20:16-18)

Prayer to St. Mary Magdalene by St. Anselm
One of the greatest prayers from one saint to another...

Litany to St. Mary Magdalene...

“Let the one among you
who is without sin
be the first
to throw
a stone
at her.”

(Jn 8:7)

On this feast of St. Mary Magdala, one portrayed as a great and impure sinner, oppressed by as many as 7 demons, Our Lord in His Lessons speaks about perversity:

“My people, what is perversity? It is a blindness of the heart and destruction from your evil thoughts. Your hearts are blinded to goodness, and perversity is destroying your happiness.... Many people put on their masks of true devotion by their routine observance of Me, but secretly lack the true love in their hearts. So many give thanks and worship to Me with their lips, but not with their hearts…. Stop being blind! ...You cannot hide from Me!... Perversity and blindness of the heart, which lead to evil, are false and empty thoughts carried out in action!” (JOM, Vol I, #69, 07-22-89, Perversity)

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:
July 22, 1989...

What has OLOE said on this loyal St. Mary of Magdala's feast day?

“…Never lose your focus on the Truth, which lies in the Sacred Heart of my Son Who suffered and died for you. Now He comes to you not only as your Savior, but as a Child, inviting all the people of the world to be childlike, dependent, little, innocent and humble. All peoples of the world must know the Truth, and the Truth lies in God alone….” (OLOE Private 07-22-05)

Feast of St. Bridget of Sweden - July 23

Swedish Wife, Mother of eight, Widow, Religious Founder & Mystic (1303-1373)

"There is no sinner in the world,
however much at enmity with God,
who cannot recover God's grace
by recourse to Mary, and by asking her assistance."
(St. Bridget +1373)

Brief Biographical Sketch...

St. Bridget is most noted for the Fifteen Prayers revealed to her by Our Lord and the promises that go with them:

St. Bridget also was one of the earlier saints to be given a significant amount of prophetic words about the Apostasy to come near the end of the age. Are we seeing her prophecies fulfilled in our time?

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:
"Its Forewarning through Private Revelation"
13th through 19th Centuries (scroll down to St. Bridget)...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on St. Bridget's feast?

“…Seek the Kingdom of God with humility and you will grow in holiness. Only those who are selfless enter?. As you receive grace from the Father, do not seek attention from others. Do not feel superior in grace. There is no greater importance of one gift over another. Seek to share your gifts with humility….” (OLOE Public 07-23-98)

Feast of St. Charbel Makhluf—July 24

19th Century Lebanese Maronite Priest and Hermit (1828-1898)

            Who was this holy saint?....

St. Charbel: All the Forces of Evil are Focused on Destroying the Family

“The war of the Evil One against the Lord is his war against the family, and the war of the Evil One against the family is the core of his war against the Lord. Because the family is the image of God, from the beginning of the creation of this universe, The Evil one is focusing on destroying the family, the foundation of God’s plan.”

– St. Charbel

            Novena to St. Charbel Makhluf

What has Our Lord said in His Lessons to the world on the feast of St. Charbel?

“…I tell you, you do not fully trust in Me. As soon as something happens in your life which you interpret as a trauma, you do not trust, but live your lives in stress—a stress you create. Trust in Me emphatically. Accept what I bring you. Everything is for a purpose---a purpose to strengthen you and prepare you in faith for My Kingdom.

My people, you must discontinue your critical analysis of yourselves and others. Some of you say one is a messenger of God and the other is not.  I tell you, never discredit My words given to My messengers.  Please, stop creating your own conflicts. When you discredit, analyze and question the authenticity of Our words given to Our messengers in your arrogant, authoritative manner, you are discrediting, analyzing and questioning Us!”  (JOM, Vol 1, #70, July 24, 1989, Seek the Kingdom)

Feast of St. James the Greater - July 25

Apostle, Brother of St. John the Evangelist, Missionary to Spain

What do we know about the life of St. James the Greater?...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on Apostle James' feast?

“…Be content where God leads you, and simply be happy to be in His Presence. There is much work that needs to be accomplished in my army of Love. The battle continues to build in the Heavens, and soon the forces of evil will afflict the world. Build up your forces by putting on your armor of love, perseverance, and patience. Pray that you will be able to endure what is to come….” (OLOE Public 07-25-96)

“…Do not be afraid you will fail?. Be strong and courageous. Persevere with gratitude, and thank God? Few people give gratitude to God Almighty?. Always give thanks and praise, then ask for what you need. If it be according the Divine Plan, then wait patiently. If you are not patient, you will still have to wait. You have to wait for God’s time. You can try to do what you desire, but your battle will be with God. So resign to His Will and wait on Him. Then praise Him again. In good times and in bad, never leave Him….” (OLOE Private 07-25-09)

Feast of St. Anne and Joachim - July 26

The Parents of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On July 26, the Church celebrates the Feast of Sts. Anne and Joachim, the parents of Mary and the grandparents of Jesus. One of the greatest burdens so many parents and grandparents in the world carry is the burden that so many of their children and grandchildren are not walking with God! On their feast day, let us all join together as one big family and pray for their intercession for all of those families who are broken and in great need of faith and love.

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on this great feast of her parents?

“…Pray for all those in the world. Know that they are so much in need. I am so concerned about the condition of the world?. Invite all people here to the Center of my Immaculate Heart. Invite them. Show them kindness. Be courteous to them. Lend to them. Give to them. Shower them with all the graces of God’s Mercy. So many people need it. The more you give, the more they desire. The more they desire, the more God will give you to give them; and things will expand and grow and grow….” (OLOE Private 07-26-04)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg July 26, 2004...

“…You know, little ones, that a gift is given freely; and a gift is freely received. However this gift must also be given to others freely?. But you oftentimes seem to forget from where the inception of it came. It began with my presence here, here a presence that has been allowed by God the Father Almighty, through the Passion and suffering of my Son, and through the blessedness of my Child, the Child Jesus Who has called all children here?. It seems to me that you have forgotten that it was me, here, as your humble Mother, who has so much planned for this area, and who has called you to rally on others to come here again….” (OLOE Private 07-26-05)

The Litany to St. Anne...

Novena Prayer to St. Joachim and St. Anne

Great and glorious patriarch, St. Joachim, and good St. Anne, what joy is mine when I consider that you were chosen among all God’s holy ones to assist in the fulfillment of the mysteries of God, and to enrich our earth with the great Mother of God, Mary most holy. By this singular privilege, you have become most powerful with both the Mother and her Son, so as to be able to obtain for us the graces that are needful to us.

With great confidence I have recourse to your mighty protection, and I commend to you all my needs, both spiritual and temporal, and those of my family. Especially do I entrust to your keeping the particular favor that I desire and look for from your intercession. (Express your intention here)

And since you were a perfect pattern of the interior life, obtain for me the grace to pray earnestly, and never to set my heart on the passing goods of this life. Give me a lively and enduring love for Jesus and Mary. Obtain for me also a sincere devotion and obedience to Holy Church and the sovereign Pontiff who rules over her, in order that I may live and die in faith and hope and perfect charity. Let me ever invoke the holy Names of Jesus and Mary; and may I thus be saved. Amen.

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
