Pep Talk for Rebuilding America

By Fr. Charlie Becker

“…Salvation history shows us time and again that when we are faithful to God, we are blessed. But when we are unfaithful, like now, we fall into disorder and chaos. Sin causes diseases and even wars, directly or indirectly, to the guilty and the innocent. Let's get straight with God and know His peace and love among ourselves and one another….”

The Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Traditionally in the Church, the month of June has been designated as a month dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. However, private revelation has added to this celebration a triduum of feasts - the Sacred Heart of the Father, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. And some may ask: Where does the devotion to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary come from? So together, let us explore this packed week of solemn and holy devotions...

Proposed Feast of the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph

June 6, 2018

Arising from two Church-approved Marian apparitions in the 20th century, one in the United States and one which is still ongoing in Brazil, is the request for and increased devotion to the Pure and Chaste Heart of St. Joseph. A more formal request from St. Joseph for an actual Feast of His Most Chaste Heart was proposed in 2010 through the mystical events of Chris Courtis here in the United States, on which the Church has taken to formal action. However, in view of this increased role of St. Joseph in these end times being announced in Church-approved mystical events, is it not prudent to pray and discern now for ourselves?

Proposed Feast of the Sacred Heart of the Father

June 7, 2018

Arising mystically from circles and cenacles of prayer in the United States is a request for devotion to the Sacred Heart of the Father, including even a request for a Feast of the Sacred Heart of the Father to occur on the Thursday preceding the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus each year. One of the fruits of this devotion is a beautiful prayer to God the Father:

Our Father Who resides in Heaven, I approach Your throne and ask that You give to me the grace of abiding within Your Most Sacred Heart. I promise to love Thee and adore Thee with all my heart and soul. O' Mighty Father, love me and let me love you so that I may also be one in Your Most Holy Will. You, O' God, are my Creator and my Father of Mercy and Love, and it is in Thee that I do trust that Thy Love becomes my own, and that Thy Will becomes my will, and that I may live to do Thy Will, not just in this world, but in the next. O' Most Merciful and Loving Heart of the Father, I love and trust in Thee through Jesus Christ Your Son. Amen.

On the initial celebration of the proposed Feast of the Sacred Heart of God the FatherOur Lady of Emmitsburg boldly proclaimed:

"I am here to be with you for all time, for now is the war in which evil will be slain and we shall be victorious because we love God; and those who love God can only win." (OLOE Public 06-06-02)

Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

June 8, 2018

Who better than Our Lord could teach us in His Lessons to the world?

"...I am now speaking of true devotion to My Most Sacred Heart by praying to Me where no one can notice. You do not realize how you are glorified tenfold in Me when you pray privately and continuously. Why? Because you are confident that I, your Lord, am hearing your prayers. It is true faith and trust, and I shall grant your request according to your most intimate happiness." (JOM, Vol I, #64, June 23, 1989) "Dive into My Sacred Heart for rejuvenation of the soul. Do not look for rest and peace in outer sources. Look inside, and those who are willing to receive My Love and Peace will find Me! ...In My time of human existence amongst My people, I worked hard.... I could not find peace exteriorly because the world did not exist in peace exteriorly. I came to save the world so all would have Life and Peace, but I dove interiorly into My Father's Heart for solitude, contemplation and the Peace of His Love. I then walked the back roads to freedom by walking the active world in contemplation of solitude and Peace within where My Father dwelled." (JOM, Vol IV, #20, June 27, 1992) "Listen, love, assist and pray! And if you see error, do not be influenced. Yield to My Love and My correction, and receive My Mercy through My Sacred Heart." (JOM, Vol IV, #32, July 18, 1992) "My Love for My people will never cease. I carry the wounds in My Most Sacred Heart from all the division and wicked ways so many have chosen to pursue. But in My Love I will never turn from them, for My door is open to all who desire to enter.... The amount of love you share with your neighbor through charity and unconditional service is proportional to the amount of love you have for Me." (JOM, Vol V, #4, January 6, 1995) "I find joy in all who are dedicated to My Truth at all costs and who are consecrated to My Most Sacred Heart and My Mother's Immaculate Heart. The Two Hearts shall reign in victory and the day will come forth when all the world will know of the Triumph of the Two Hearts!"(JOM, Vol V, #12, May 31, 1995)

What has OLOE said on this her Son's great feast day?

“My Son, divine, is the Word; and the Word became Flesh through me. He received His Heart through me; so His Heart and my heart are united…. His Presence for you always in the Most Blessed Sacrament contains a Heart undivided….” (OLOE Private 06-15-07)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg June 15, 2007...

100th Anniversary Letter of Pope John Paul II - June 11, 1999
The Consecration of the Human Race to the Divine Heart of Jesus

“…the consecration of the human race in 1899 by Pope Leo XIII represents an extraordinarily important step on the Church's journey. …The words of Pope Leo still ring true: 'We must have recourse to Him who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. We have gone astray and we must return to the right path; darkness has overshadowed our minds, and the gloom must be dispelled by the Light of Truth; death has seized upon us, and we must lay hold of Life.' …The Savior's Heart invites us to return to the Father's Love, which is the source of every authentic love…. His Heart particularly reveals the generosity of God towards sinners. God's reaction to sin is not to lesson His Love, but to expand it into a flow of Mercy which becomes the initiative of the Redemption….”

Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

June 9, 2018

Our Lord in His Lessons on the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows in 1989 taught the world more about the role of His Mother:

"My Mother has lived the sorrows you bear and, because of this, you should always call on her in your time of need…. In your sorrow you are bonded to her Immaculate Heart, and her tears for your sorrows purify you. ...Allow her to unite your heart to her Immaculate Heart. The sword may pierce your heart, but the edge has been dulled, because it first pierced My Mother's Heart before your own." (JOM, Vol II, #1, 09-15-89, Mother of Sorrows)

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:
September 15, 1989...

On the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, June 8, 2002, Our Lady of Emmitsburg more precisely defined the role of Emmitsburg in her plan:

"But no place in this country has there ever been a place as this, the Center of my Immaculate Heart. In fact, there is no place in the world that has had the power behind this name, the Center of my Immaculate Heart because it is at this place that I bring my Son, the Child Jesus, as a refuge - a refuge for all children. You cannot go before God unless you become like a child. Only those who are like a child shall enter the Kingdom. So my little Child is inviting all people, regardless of age, to return to Him and to be with Him and seek Him as refuge..."   (OLOE Private 06-08-02)

What else has OLOE said on her great Marian feast?

“Please know that I as your Mother am very grateful for how you defend my most Immaculate Heart and how you defend my Son's Most Sacred Heart…. As the angels bow toward your Mother in the heavenly court, so too will mankind. No human can see the Father face to face and live…. When you meet your Creator, each of you will have to atone for all of your sins; for He is just, and His Divine Justice will unfold….”
(OLOE Private 06-24-06)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg June 24, 2006...

“I have told you to prepare…. I have told you of my disappointment that so many are not listening…. The world as you know it is changing…. Too many people, who are moving in different directions, seeking different avenues and wanting many answers, will not be able to receive the Truth…. Everyone should know so that no one can say, ‘Lord, I did not know!'…. Wake up, my children, for now the percentage of people in this world who will survive continues to diminish….”    (OLOE Private 06-24-06)

The Covenant of the Two Hearts

The Covenant of the Two Hearts, that mystical union between our Blessed Mother and her beloved Son Jesus is truly a mystery, a mystery we cannot fully understand in this life. However, Our Lady of Emmitsburg first shares with her children some aspects of that mystery, and then theologian, Msgr. Arthur Calkins explores this mystery from the point of view of the Church's understanding:

The 10th Sunday in Ordinary Time—June 10, 2018

Some might ask why we at the Foundation of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary continues to promote the message of Our Lady of Emmitsburg despite all the obstacles that have been placed in Her way by local residents, local and regional Church authorities, our nation, the “world” & the Satan himself, and we can only answer like the Psalmist:

“…According to what is written,

‘I believed, therefore I have spoken’;

we too believe and therefore we speak’

(Psalms 115:10)

(2 Cor 4:13)

Therefore, let us remind you what has been shared with humanity by God the Father in His Words to the world, Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Lessons, and Our Lady of Emmitsburg in her Messages regarding what has been promised:

Feast of St. Barnabas the Apostle - June 11

Although not one of the original twelve, Barnabas through his affiliation with St. Paul, the Apostle to the Gentiles, is also considered an apostle. His name means “son of exhortation” and “consolation.” It is believed that he was born in Cyprus and eventually returned to Cyprus to preach the Truth of the Gospel and where he was finally stoned to death.

Brief biography...

St. Barnabas Prayer

Grant, O God, that we may follow the example of thy faithful servant St. Barnabas, who, seeking not his own renown but the well-being of thy Church, gave generously of his life and substance for the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.

What exhortation and consolation has Our Lord in His Lessons

offered on St. Barnabas' feast:

“Come all and give fervent thanksgiving to my Father:

“O’ Glorious One on high, exalt your people.
Bring them Your Peace and Your everlasting Love.
I bring them to You, O? Gracious One.
Have mercy on them as I have mercy on them.
They are Our beloved people.”

“…These, My dear people, are the words I pray to My Most Glorious and Good Father…My Father does not deny Me, My people. Do not deny Me to bring you happiness and peace! My Father listens to Me. Won’t you please listen to Me and trust Me?...”

What has OLOE said on this feast of St. Barnabas?

“…What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on this feast of St. Barnabas?...If Jesus generates feelings of pain in you, it is because He wants to heal you and desires you to experience His freedom. He does not allow you to have pain because of punishment. If your heart is wounded, Jesus will heal you, if you acknowledge your need to be healed and the need to change so that you can live the Gospel?. If you compromise His Truth and ignore your feelings of pain, your heart can become cluttered and not be able to receive the fullness of His Love. To have a pure heart, you must know and accept the truth - the truth about yourself and the Truth of the Gospel….”    (OLOE Public 06-11-98)

Feast of St. Anthony of Padua - June 13

Portuguese Franciscan Friar and Doctor of the Church (1195-1231)

Brief biography...

Novena Prayer to St. Anthony

O’ Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and charity for His creatures made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your words, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me (mention personal request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms, and the gratitude of my heart will ever by yours. Amen. (Our Father..., Hail Mary..., and Glory be...)

The Prayer or Blessing Against Storms

Throughout the world nature’s wrath is being felt from almost every type of natural disaster, and a loving, permissive God is allowing this. Why? Maybe if all the world prayed this powerful Prayer Against Storms, which is attributed to St. Anthony of Padua, God would tame the wrath of nature:

The Prayer or Blessing Against Storms...

What has OLOE said on the great feast of St. Anthony?

“   I have forewarned you, a very long time ago, how important it was and still is to remain faithful to God and committed to prayer, and to prepare by having an intimate relationship with God. The evil one would like to see division at all levels in every avenue of your lives, for those who are Christian and those who are not. The most important thing is to remain focused in prayer, to remain true to yourself, and to love and remain pure within the Sacred Heart of my Son. He will hide you in His Wounds, and there you will be protected.. Be careful to stay within the Sacred Heart of Jesus and not to judge, no matter how much you know, who you know and what you witness. Only God sees what is within, and it is very important that you refrain from labeling other people by seeking to take sides against one or another. Be careful, because God is ‘God’; and you have all been called to love. Only you know within whether that is true for you, and it is the same with others….” (OLOE Public 05-30-96)

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
