Cardinal Raymond Burke:

10 Ways to Overcome Confusion

&

Division in the Church

July, 2017

Stressing that Christ’s teachings do not change, he gave 10 ways to deal with the crisis:

  1. Study the Catechism more attentively and be prepared to defend the Church’s teaching;
  2. Recall the “many edifying signs” of fidelity to Christ among “many good and steadfast faithful, priests and bishops”;
  3. Have recourse to the Blessed Virgin Mary, imitate the oneness of her heart with Jesus;
  4. Invoke frequently, “throughout the day,” the intercession of St. Michael the Archangel as there is “definitely diabolical involvement in the ever spreading confusion, division and error within the Church”;
  5. Pray to St. Joseph daily to protect the Church from “confusion and division which are always the work of Satan”;
  6. Pray to the great pope saints who guided the Church in difficult times;
  7. Pray for the cardinals of the Church to give them “particular clarity and courage”;
  8. Be serene, knowing our confidence is in Christ, that the “gates of hell” will not prevail against the Church, and avoid a “worldly desperation” that is expressed in “aggressive and uncharitable ways.”
  9. Be ready to “accept ridicule, misunderstanding, persecution, exile and even death” to remain one with Christ in the Church, following the example of St. Athanasius and other great saints.
  10. Safeguard love for Pope Francis by praying fervently for him and seeking the intercession of St. Peter on his behalf.

Novena Prayer
to
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine,
All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine.

Blessed be the holy and Immaculate Conception
of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God!

O Virgin Immaculate, Mother of Jesus and our tender Mother, we invoke thee under the title of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, because thou art the Mother of the Savior who lives in the Eucharist, and because it was from thee that He took the Flesh and Blood with which He there feeds us! We invoke thee under that title because, again, thou art the sovereign dispensatrix of all graces and, consequently, of those contained in the august Eucharist, also, because thou didst first fulfill the duties of the Eucharistic life, teaching us by thy example how to assist properly at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, how to communicate worthily, and how to visit frequently and piously the Most Blessed Sacrament.

V. Pray for us, O Virgin Immaculate,
Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

R. That the Eucharistic Kingdom of Jesus Christ may come among us!

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus Christ, our King and our God, who having become Man to make us sharers in The Divinity, art truly our Bread in the adorable Eucharist, grant, we beseech Thee, that in venerating so great a Mystery, we may be mindful of the most sweet Virgin Mary, of whom Thou didst will to be conceived by the operation of the Holy Ghost! Grant, also that we may imitate the worship that she rendered while on earth to this most august Sacrament, so we may behold Thy Eucharistic Kingdom spread and flourish throughout the whole world! O Thou who lives and reigns forever and ever! Amen.

The Holy Eucharist

In the Catechism of the Catholic Church we are taught that:

The Eucharist is the heart and the summit of the Church’s life, for in it Christ associates His Father; by this sacrifice he pours out the graces of salvation on His Body which is the Church. (CCC 1407)

It is Christ Himself the eternal high priest of the New Covenant Who,, acting through the ministry of the priests, offers the Eucharistic sacrifice. And it is the same Christ, really present under the species of bread and wind, who is offering the Eucharistic sacrifice. (CCC 1410)

By the conseceq5ion the transubstantiation of the bread and wine into the Body and blood of Christ is brought about, Under the consecrated species of bread and wind Christ himself, living and glorious, is present in a true, real, and substantial manner”: His Body and His Blood, with His Soul and His Divinity. (CCC 1413)

Because Christ Himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, he is to be honored with the worship of adoration. To visit the Blessed Sacrament is …a proof of gratitude, and expression of love and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord. (CCC 1418)

Feast of St. Louis de Montfort - April 28, 2018

French Priest, Founder & Marian Scholar (1673-1716)

“Mary is the fruitful Virgin, and in all the souls in which she comes to dwell she causes to flourish purity of heart and body, rightness of intention and abundance of good works. Do not imagine that Mary, the most fruitful of creatures who gave birth to God, remains barren in a faithful soul. It will be she who makes the soul live incessantly for Jesus Christ, and will make Jesus live in the soul.”

(True Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. Louis de Montfort)

What has OLOE said on the feast of St. Louis de Montfort?

“…Fear God, that you might not offend Him in self-pride and self-righteousness. Be humble, love Him, implore His Mercy, and adore Him in the Most Blessed Sacrament…. I belong to God. You belong to God….You are all novices in the knowledge of His most merciful Love…. Remove the idolatry you have formed in yourself and have placed higher than He. He is your God, and I have been allowed to come here to implore you to focus on Him, trust Him and return back to Him….” (OLOE Public 04-28-94)

“How I want to wrap you and comfort you! With all your suffering and burdens, I want to be your Mother and gently caress you. For all those suffering in the world, for all those people who have turned and walked away, for all the deeds that were unjust, for all the political commentaries filled with anger, for all the things that lead to violence and crime, I desire to gather all my children who are burdened, to comfort them, and to let them know that they are loved….

“…When people do not feel loved, then they lash out as if they need to defend themselves. Often they do not even know what they need to defend. But I am there, and I want to comfort them…. I want to love them, and I want to bring everyone into my mantle…. I cannot force anyone, for I can only invite. I do very much want to correct and love and comfort everyone, but so many don’t want it….” (OLOE Private 04-28-07)

Plenary Indulgence - Feast of St. Louis de Montfort

Those devotees of the Total Consecration to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary according to St. Louis de Montfort, who have completed the 33-day preparation and total consecration in the past, may receive a Plenary Indulgence on this day, under the usual conditions of Holy Communion, Sacramental Confession, and prayers for the Holy Father's intentions, by praying again praying, on this holy saint's feast, the consecration prayer:

Consecration Prayer...

Litany of St. Louis de Montfort...

And for those of you who might not yet be familiar with St. Louis de Montfort’s Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary, please ponder this commitment:

Total Consecration Preparation...

“We fasten our souls to Your hope, as to an abiding anchor. It is to Her that the saints who have saved themselves have been most attached and have done their best to attach others, in order to persevere in virtue. Happy, then, a thousand times happy, are Christians who are now fastened faithfully and entirely to Her, as to a firm anchor!” (Treatise on True Devotion, n. 175, St. Louis de Montfort, 1673-1716)

5th Sunday of Easter—April 29, 2018

In today’s 1st Liturgical Reading on this 5th Sunday of Easter, in the Acts of the Apostles we read:

“…When Saul arrived in Jerusalem

he tried to join the disciples,

but they were all afraid of him,

not believing that he was a disciple….”

(Acts 9:26-27)

His reception was not unlike the reception Our Lady of Emmitsburg received from the institutional Church and many of the faithful during her public manifestations in the Emmitsburg, MD, area from 1993 through 2008.  Fear is a powerful deterrent to taking a risk for God.  In so many circles, both from within the Church and outside of it, there remains that fear of the role of Our Lady and the fear of the response of the Church.  Let us recall what God the Father in His Words to the world, Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Lessons & Our Lady of Emmitsburg in her Messages have said to address these fears:

Fear, Part II, THE ROLE OF OUR LADY

Feast of St. Catherine of Siena - April 29, 2018

Italian Tertiary Dominican, Mystic, Philosopher & Theologian

“It is not the hour to seek one’s self for one’s self,
nor to flee pains in order to possess consolations;
nay, it is the hour to lose one’s self.”

(Letters of St. Catherine of Siena, 1347-1380)

What has OLOE said on this feast of St. Catharine of Siena?

“…Pray with me to God the Father on behalf of all the precious souls who have suffered by acts of violence and hatred. Comfort those who grieve and mourn, and do not give up hope. Jesus is merciful, and He will not depart from you…. He knows each one of you, and His Divine Mercy and compassion will save you…. Please do not try to understand the ways of God, but trust in His Love with childlike confidence….”

 (OLOE Public 04-29-99)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg April 29, 1999...

"…Join me and pray. There are so many who are walking away, so many who are searching and do not know where to find comfort, so many who are confused and so many who are distracted, yet desire to do good…. This world was meant to be a joy in which to live. It was created by the Father for all to reap the glorious benefits and fruits of His creation. Yet today, people have made it very complicated by destroying natural resources and abusing gifts from God through a lack of praise and thanksgiving, and by demanding more through selfishness instead of giving through selflessness…. God desires you to continue to be His close friends and ambassadors of Light. Change can come through a few. If you believe, it will happen. The power of God is within you!"

Litany of St. Catherine of Siena...

On the feast of St. Catherine of Siena, April 29, 2003, Our Lord Himself appeared to Gianna and said:

"Your mission will be fulfilled, and I bless you in it so that it will be completed, so that Mother Church will once again be safe and strong. Receive the blessing of My Mercy.... We are embarking now on the new beginning, the first phase of the unveiling of My Divine Mercy. When humanity realizes the trouble in the world, they will look for My Mercy. They will realize that they are prisoners to a few people who control their lives through power, and materialistic and monetary means, both in the Church and in the world. People will come to look for Me, and I will reveal the Truth and ratify My prophets..." (Our Lord Private 04-29-03)

"I have no other desire in this life
save to see the honor of God, your peace,

Feast of St. Pius V - April 30, 2018

Italian Dominican priest and Pope at the time of the Battle of Lepanto

 (1504-1572)

It is fitting that we end this month of April and begin this month of May, a month dedicated to Our Blessed Mother, with the feast of the Pope who changed the course of salvation history in the modern world with his faith and trust in the power of the Most Holy Rosary:

The Sea Battle of Lepanto - October 7, 1571
Our Lady of Victory and Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary...

What has Our Lord in His Lessons said on the feast of St. Pius V?

 "Very few of My people have joy in their Savior?. I do not desire My people to be filled with sorrow or sadness. As I purify and cleanse My people, there are emotions and sentiments of self-pity, sadness and sorrow. But I do not want My people to be distraught by these sentiments but instead rejoice, be gland and have hope. The pride must be stripped in order that humility can replace it. It takes time to grow in holiness, charity and love because of human weakness, sinfulness and vices of the flesh."(JOM, Vol V, #53, 04-30-95, Rejoice)

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:
REJOICE
April 30, 1995...

What has OLOE said on the feast of this Italian Pope Pius V?

"You must genuinely love unconditionally your neighbors and those with whom you interact. You cannot be enlightened by the Holy Spirit unless you respond to the Holy Spirit?s inspirations by making every effort to be like Jesus. Inclinations of the flesh and human nature will attempt to fight the inspirations of the Spirit. You can control and temper all the sentiments of your flesh through silence, love, prayer and fasting." (OLOE Public 04-30-98)

May 2017

The Month Dedicated to Mother Mary

The Feast of St. Joseph the Worker - May 1, 2018

"Whatever you do,
work at it with all your heart,
as though you were working for the Lord
and not for yourselves.
Remember that the Lord will reward you;
you will receive what He has kept for His people.
For Christ is the real Master you serve."

(Col 3:23-24)

On May 1, 1955, Pope Pius XII established the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker to honor the dignity of workers throughout the world. In these troubled economic times, join us as we pray for the intercession of St. Joseph in assisting individuals and families to provide adequate means for themselves in keeping with the spirit of the Gospel.

Brief biography and Novena Prayer...

In the society and culture in which we live, so much of the dignity and self-esteem of the human being is tied to his/her able to provide for those dependent on them. Thus, the effects of unemployment can carry both devastating financial, familial and psychological consequences. Let us ask St. Joseph to help each of us as well as our friends and family members who may be undergoing this trial:

Other Prayers to St. Joseph for Worker...

What has OLOE said on St. Joseph's feast?

"Do not look for answers; look to be the mouthpiece of God the Father. Be the person who shall speak the Truth among those who may challenge you, direct questions to you, or even confront you. Be the mouthpiece and set the example of Truth. What you hear from them is that to which you must respond from God?s Heart as His mouthpiece." (OLOE Private 05-01-05)

Feast of St. Peregrine - May 1, 2018

Patron of Cancer Patients

St. Peregrine was a 14th century Italian priest who was cured of cancer after he received a vision of Christ on the Cross reaching out His Hand to touch his impaired limb.

Worldwide there were over 7 million cancer deaths in 2000, and this number doubled by 2008. It is expected to double again by 2020 to nearly 25 million, and become the leading cause of death in the world. Even though there have been great strides made in science, medicine and technology, there seems also to have been great backsliding in spiritual growth based upon Truth. Let us ask St. Peregrine for his intercession in not only our physical infirmities, but also our spiritual ones:

Feast of St. Athanasius - May 2, 2018

Alexandrian Bishop and Doctor of the Church (296-373)

"Even on the cross He did not hide Himself from sight;
rather, He made all creation witness to the presence of its Maker."

(St. Athanasius)

Prayer to Our Lady by St. Athanasius

It is becoming for you, O Mary, to be mindful of us, as you stand near him who bestowed upon you all graces, for you are the Mother of God and our Queen. Come to our aid for the sake of the King, the Lord God and Master who was born of you. For this reason you are called “full of grace.”? Be mindful of us, most holy Virgin, and bestow on us gifts from the riches of your graces, O Virgin full of grace.

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
