WHAT WILL THE CHURCH LOOK LIKE IN 2000?

By Father Joseph Ratzinger, 1969

“…And so it seems certain to me that the Church is facing very hard times. The real crisis has scarcely begun. We will have to count on terrific upheavals. But I am equally certain about what will remain at the end: not the Church of the political cult, which is dead already, but the Church of faith. It may well no longer be the dominant social power to the extent that she was until recently; but it will enjoy a fresh blossoming and be seen as man’s home, where he will find life and hope beyond death….”

Novena Prayer
to
Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament

O Sacrament Most Holy, O Sacrament Divine,
All praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine.

Blessed be the holy and Immaculate Conception
of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God!

O Virgin Immaculate, Mother of Jesus and our tender Mother, we invoke thee under the title of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, because thou art the Mother of the Savior who lives in the Eucharist, and because it was from thee that He took the Flesh and Blood with which He there feeds us! We invoke thee under that title because, again, thou art the sovereign dispensatrix of all graces and, consequently, of those contained in the august Eucharist, also, because thou didst first fulfill the duties of the Eucharistic life, teaching us by thy example how to assist properly at the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, how to communicate worthily, and how to visit frequently and piously the Most Blessed Sacrament.

V. Pray for us, O Virgin Immaculate,
Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament.

R. That the Eucharistic Kingdom of Jesus Christ may come among us!

Let us pray:

Lord Jesus Christ, our King and our God, who having become Man to make us sharers in The Divinity, art truly our Bread in the adorable Eucharist, grant, we beseech Thee, that in venerating so great a Mystery, we may be mindful of the most sweet Virgin Mary, of whom Thou didst will to be conceived by the operation of the Holy Ghost! Grant, also that we may imitate the worship that she rendered while on earth to this most august Sacrament, so we may behold Thy Eucharistic Kingdom spread and flourish throughout the whole world! O Thou who lives and reigns forever and ever! Amen.

The Holy Eucharist

In the Catechism of the Catholic Church we are taught that:

The Eucharist is the heart and the summit of the Church’s life, for in it Christ associates His Father; by this sacrifice he pours out the graces of salvation on His Body which is the Church. (CCC 1407)

It is Christ Himself the eternal high priest of the New Covenant Who,, acting through the ministry of the priests, offers the Eucharistic sacrifice. And it is the same Christ, really present under the species of bread and wind, who is offering the Eucharistic sacrifice. (CCC 1410)

By the conseceq5ion the transubstantiation of the bread and wine into the Body and blood of Christ is brought about, Under the consecrated species of bread and wind Christ himself, living and glorious, is present in a true, real, and substantial manner”: His Body and His Blood, with His Soul and His Divinity. (CCC 1413)

Because Christ Himself is present in the sacrament of the altar, he is to be honored with the worship of adoration. To visit the Blessed Sacrament is …a proof of gratitude, and expression of love and a duty of adoration toward Christ our Lord. (CCC 1418)

Novena to St. Louis de Montfort (1673-1716)

April 20-28, 2016

Join us in the 9-day Novena to St. Louis De Montfort from April 20 through this great saint’s feast day on April 28. If you have not already done so, consider making it your special intention for the grace to complete the 33-day Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary. If you have previously made this 33-day consecration, then a plenary indulgence may be obtained on April 28, his feast day, by repeating the Consecration Prayer along with the usual conditions of Mass, Confession and prayers for the Holy Father’s intentions:

Consecration Prayer…

Novena Prayer to St. Louis de Montfort

Great Apostle and son of Our Lady, St. Louis de Montfort, your only desire was to set aflame the world with the love of Jesus through Mary. We implore you to obtain for us a perfect and constant devotion to Mary that we may participate in the faith, hope and charity of Our Lady and that we may receive the favor we ask of you in this novena… (mention your petition).

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.

St. Louis Marie Grignon de Montfort… Pray for us. (3 times)

Novena to St. Catherine of Siena (1347-1380)

April 21-29, 2016

Also join us in this 9-day Novena to St. Catherine of Siena from April 21 through her feast day on April 29, as we pray for Mother Church during these very difficult times of purification, reconciliation, retribution, and renewal. Enriched through her mystical relationship with God the Father, St. Catherine greatly influenced the Church during these tumultuous times in the 14th century.

Novena Prayer to St. Catherine of Siena

Heavenly Father, your glory is in your saints. We praise your glory in the life of the admirable St. Catherine of Siena, virgin and Doctor of the Church. Her whole life was a noble sacrifice inspired by an ardent love of Jesus, your unblemished Lamb. In troubled times she strenuously upheld the rights of His beloved spouse, the Church. Father, honor her merits and hear her prayers for each of us, and for our Church. Help us to pass unscathed through the corruption of this world, and to remain unshakably faithful to the Church in word, deed and example. Help us always to see in the Vicar of Christ an anchor in the storms of life, and a beacon of light to the harbor of your Love, in this dark night of our times and men’s souls. Grant also to each of us our special petition. (Mention here your own intentions). We ask this through Jesus, Your Son, in the bond of the Holy Spirit. Amen

St. Catherine of Siena, pray for us.

Feast of St. Anselm, Bishop and Doctor of the Church,

 (1033-1109)—April 21

St. Anselm was an English bishop who was a strenuous defender of the rights of the Church against the usurpation of kings:

Brief biography…..

What has OLOE said on the feast of St. Anselm?

“…Believe with all your heart, for nothing is impossible with God! You have the power, more than the angels.  If what you desire in your heart is the Will of God, it will happen.  That is the beauty of faith, to trust with all your heart and to know that you are well cared for.

I desire all people to pray and to be close to God, but it is their free will and their rejection of God through their own desires that separate them and allow them more and more to sin.  All of humanity will know of the great injuries they have inflicted upon my Son; and for these, they will be purged, not because God would be vindictive---(He isn't)---but because of His Love….”  (Private OLOE, April 21, 2007)

4th Sunday of Easter—April 22, 2018

In today’s Gospel Reading from St. John, we hear Our Lord speaking of His relationship with His Father:

“I know mine and mine know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I will lay down my life for the sheep…This is why the Father loves Me, because I lay down My life in order to take it up again.  No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down on my own.  I have power to lay it down and power to take it up again.  This command I have received from My Father….”  (Jn 10: 13-18)

This relationship and this obedience by the Son to the Father most certainly would bring both great joy.  Let us recall during this Easter Season what God the Father in His Words to the world, Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Lessons & Our Lady of Emmitsburg in her Messages have shared regarding some of the various aspects of that Divine Joy:

Feast of St. George, Patron of England, Martyr, (+303)—April 23

Brief biography….

What has OLOE said on the feast of St. George?

“…Children, there is much sorrow in this world.   So many people desire love—even you. It is difficult to give all of your being to someone else when you feel a void within you and desire to be filled yourself with God's Love.

I can tell you this:  The blessing of God is such that the more you give of yourself, the more you will be filled without you even knowing.  How glorious it is to be counted among the few!  How glorious it is to be chosen in your little ways and in your insignificant ways to give God the ultimate due!

…Thank you, for you always have a choice and you will make a difference.  You have dressed the wounds of those in need with the balm of God's Love.  Your “fiat” dresses my Son's Wounds with the balm of your love.  Thank you….”  (Private OLOE, April 23, 2009)

Feast of St. Mark the Evangelist - April 25, 2018

Jesus appeared to the eleven and said to them:
“Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved;
whoever does not believe will be condemned.
These signs will accompany those who believe:
in My Name they will drive out demons,
they will speak new languages.
They will pick up serpents with their hands,
and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them.
They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

(Mk 16:15-18)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on the feast of St. Mark?

“…You come seeking signs and wonders, yet the greatest gift of God is before you in the Sacrament of the Eucharist; and few of faith recognize it…. I have spoken of His words of Truth contained in the Gospel, yet those who call themselves scholars and experts argue about His words and the events which took place. If I was allowed by God to give you a sign, it would be soon forgotten and noted as a magical event.

“Little Children, I tell you that God does exist; and My Son Jesus is your Savior, the Son of God, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity. Beware of the dangers of deception you will fall into by negating His Presence….” (OLOE Public 04-25-96)

“…Every time that you prostrate yourself before God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit, and that you implore God’s Mercy with all your genuine love and sincerity, your prayers are heard; and God not only hears your prayers, but God the Father will respond….Soon you will know of even this most exceptional portion of God’s great Plan…. You are here with me. Many may not believe it; but one day you will not only believe it, but you will see your names on the scroll….” (OLOE Private 05-30-05)

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
