It would appear that almost every person and family have pressing prayer intentions for situations which include not only universal issues such as world peace and the end of abortion, but even more personal issues that involve the very salvation of the ones they love. Join us in this 30-day Novena to St. Joseph, entrusting the head of the Holy Family with our most personal and pressing intentions. Follow each day's Novena prayer with the Litany to St. Joseph:

Novena to St. Joseph...

Litany of St. Joseph...

AN ANCIENT PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH That is said to never fail!

O ST. JOSEPH, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the throne of God, I place in thee all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, assist me by thy powerful intercession and obtain for me all spiritual blessings through thy foster Son, Jesus Christ Our Lord, so that, having engaged here below thy heavenly power, I may offer thee my thanksgiving and homage.

O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating thee and Jesus asleep in thine arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near thy heart. press Him in my name and kiss His fine head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, Patron of departing souls, pray for me.  Amen.

Feast of St. Katherine Drexel - March 3

“The patient and humble endurance of the cross
- whatever nature it may be the highest work we have to do.”
(St. Katharine Drexel, 1858-1955)

Brief biography of St. Katherine...

Novena Prayer in Honor of St. Katharine

Compassionate God, who in your Son Jesus Christ healed the sick, touched the hearts of the troubled, and sent disciples to announce good news to the poor, we offer this novena for peace and for the intentions of all those who are praying with us.

Ever Loving God, You called St. Katharine Drexel to teach the message of the Gospel and to bring the life of the Eucharist to Black and Native American peoples. By her prayers and example, enable us to work for justice among the poor and oppressed. Draw us all into the Eucharistic community of your Church that we may be one in you. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.

(One Our Father, one Hail Mary, and one Glory be...)

What has OLOE said on St. Katharine's feast day?

“…Everyone seems so busy doing one thing or another, focusing on every little task; and yet, very little time is taken to thank God, to sit with Him, to listen to him, to praise Him; and so few desire to ask Him to be in your life so that He can grace you to be all of Him…. For to be totally present to God and to be totally present to other people, there can be no excuses. The way of the world would be always to have a way out so that no one is blamed, but no excuses can be given when God Almighty wants to give you graces and they are rejected or not accepted….” (OLOE Private 03-03-10)

“What likeness is there between me and my Mother?
Do I try to be like her, in her love for Jesus?
In her devotion for the cause for which he died
– the salvation of souls –
in her absolute submission to the will of God,
in her patient suffering?
Holy Mary, Mother of God and my Mother, too,
let me stand at the foot of the cross with you,
to learn its lesson and to learn to be like
the Mother of Sorrows.

(St. Katharine Drexel 1858-1955)

The 3rd Sunday in Lent—March 4, 2018

In today’s Gospel from St. John on this 3rd Sunday in Lent, we hear Our Lord saying to the Samaritan woman who represents all of those throughout the ages and especially NOW in these end times who are not walking with God:

“…But the hour is coming, and is now here,

when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth;

and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship Him….”

and later, after that encounter when the disciples returned and urged Jesus to eat,

He replied:

“…My food is to do the will of the One who sent Me

and to finish His work….”

(Jn 4: 23,34)

To worship the Father and to do His Will—that would seem to be our challenge in following God’s First Commandment:  “I am the Lord thy God.  Thou shall not have strange gods besides me.”  Let us recall the Lessons of Our Lord to the world and the Messages of Our Lady of Emmitsburg regarding our call to the prayer of adoration to our Almighty God:

Adoration, Part 1, Call to Adoration…

Death of Servant of God - Louisa Piccarreta

March 4, 1947

Servant of God Louisa Piccarreta (1865-1947) is an Italian mystic and author whose Cause for beatification has been forwarded to the Vatican. She allegedly lived some 65 years on Communion Eucharistic wafers in a bedridden state. Known as the “Little Daughter of the Divine Will,” she provided the faithful with a Consecration to the Divine Will:

Act of Consecration to the Divine Will
by Louisa Piccarreta

O adorable and Divine Will, behold me here before the immensity of Your Light, that Your eternal goodness may open to me the doors and make me enter into It to form my life all in You, Divine Will. Therefore, O adorable Will, prostrate before Your Light, I, the least of all creatures, put myself into the little group of the sons and daughters of Your Supreme FIAT.

Prostrate in my nothingness, I invoke Your Light and beg that It clothe me and eclipse all that does not pertain to You, Divine Will. It will be my Life, the center of my intelligence, the enrapturer of my heart and of my whole being. I do not want the human will to have life in this heart any longer. I will cast it away from me and thus form the new Eden of peace, of happiness and of love. With It I shall be always happy. I shall have a singular strength and a holiness that sanctifies all things and conducts them to God.

Here prostrate, I invoke the help of the Most Holy Trinity, that They permit me to live in the cloister of the Divine Will and thus return in me the first order of creation, just as the creature was created.

Heavenly Mother, Sovereign and Queen of the Divine FIAT, take my hand and introduce me into the Light of the Divine Will. You will be my guide, my most tender Mother, and will teach me to live in and to maintain myself in the order and the bounds of the Divine Will. Heavenly Mother, I consecrate my whole being to Your Immaculate Heart. You will teach me the doctrine of the Divine Will and I will listen most attentively to your lessons. You will cover me with your mantle so that the infernal serpent dare not penetrate into this sacred Eden to entice me and make me fall into the maze of the human will.

Heart of my greatest Good, Jesus, You will give me Your flames that they may burn me, consume me, and feed me to form in me the Life of the Divine Will.

Saint Joseph, you will be my protector, the guardian of my heart, and will keep the keys of my will in your hands. You will keep my heart jealously and shall never give it to me again, that I may be sure of never leaving the Will of God.

My Guardian Angel, guard me; defend me; help me in everything so that my Eden may flourish and be the instrument that draws all men into the Kingdom of the Divine Will. Amen.

Feast of St. Perpetua and Felicity - March 7

For years many of us have heard mentioned in Eucharistic Prayer I of the Roman Canon the names of Sts. Perpetua and Felicity, but most probably we know little about them:

About Sts. Perpetua & Felicity, Tunisian Martyrs...

Prayer for the Intercession of Sts. Perpetua and Felicity

your love gave the saints Perpetua and Felicity
courage to suffer a cruel martyrdom.
By their prayers, help us to grow in love of you.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.

What has Our Lord said on this feast of His young female martyrs?

“…Love is the greatest gift there is! My people need to focus on the grace of love…. Love is loving the spirit; loving far beyond the body, but loving the spirit, for the spirit is God!...I say to love all, for the Father lives in all and His Spirit is Love!...” (JOM, Vol II, #50, 03-07-90, Expressions of Love)

Private Revelations 12:1

In September, 2005, a private ministry, Fear Not, Inc., committed to spreading Our Lady’s Plan to the world was formed by Nikki and Alan Todd in Mahanoy, Pennsylvania. Their first publication was a newspaper edition entitled Private Revelation 12:1, referring to the scriptural passage, “A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” (Rev. 12:1). They have subsequently published many tools of evangelization, most recently the monthly booklet, Immaculate Heart and Soul. They are also the sponsors of the monthly First Sunday Worldwide Prayer Group in honor of Our Lady of Emmitsburg, and select a previous message to ponder and discuss with your local groups.

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
