The Month Dedicated to the Holy Family

But while he thought on these things,
behold the angel of the Lord
appeared to him in his sleep, saying:
“Joseph, son of David,
fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife,
for that which is conceived in her,
is of the Holy Ghost…”
(Mt 1:20)

Consecration to the Holy Family

O Jesus, our most loving Redeemer, who having come to enlighten the world with Thy teaching and example, didst will to pass the greater part of Thy life in humility and subjection to Mary and Joseph in the poor home of Nazareth, thus sanctifying the Family that was to be an example for all Christian families, graciously receive our family as it dedicates and consecrates itself to Thee this day. Do Thou protect us, guard us and establish amongst us Thy holy fear, true peace and concord in Christian love: in order that by living according to the divine pattern of Thy family we may be able, all of us without exception, to attain to eternal happiness.

Mary, dear Mother of Jesus and Mother of us, by the kindly intercession make this our humble offering acceptable in the sight of Jesus, and obtain for us His graces and blessings.

O Saint Joseph, most holy Guardian of Jesus and Mary, help us by thy prayers in all our spiritual and temporal needs; that so we may be enabled to praise our divine Savior Jesus, together with Mary and thee, for all eternity. Amen.

(Say an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be three times.)

 ***News Items***

Many of us are familiar with the dream/prophecy of St, John Bosco which we highlighted in last week’s newsletter, in which the Pope guides the Church through a tremendous storm while being attacked on all sides.  The Church, depicted as a ship, finds safe harbor as it keeps its focus on two pillars: the Most Holy Eucharist and the Blessed Virgin Mary.  However, we are far less familiar with another dream of St. John Bosco in which he saw:

“There shall yet come a violent hurricane.  Iniquity is at an end, sin shall cease, and before two full moons shall have shone in the month of flowers, the rainbow of peace shall appear on earth….Throughout the world a sun so bright shall shine as never seen since the flames of the Cenacle (Pentecost) until today, nor shall it be seen again until the end of time”

On March 31, 2018, two weeks into spring (the time of the year when flowers begin to appear), the earth will experience the second blue moon of 2018 (the second month in 2018 when two full moons appear during one month—January & March, 2018).”  Could we be rapidly approaching that time when we will see that “sun so bright”?

Feast of St. Scholastica - February 10

Brief biography and Litany...

What has Our Lord in His Lessons said on the feast of St. Scholastica?

“The Will of My Father is the most critical ingredient to your Happiness!... Do you know the Will of God and accept it?” (JOM, Vol II, #44, 02-10-90, Will of God)

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:

February 10, 1990...

What has OLOE said on the feast of holy St. Scholastica?

“…When you surrender to God, you die to your own will and you quiet all the frustrations you encounter by passing them into the Hands of God…. It is the only way to be converted fully into the Body of Christ, My Son….” (OLOE Public 02-10-00)

6th Sunday in Ordinary Time, February 11, 2018

In St. Mark’s Gospel on this 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we here a leper say to Jesus:

“…If you wish, you can make me clean….”

And Jesus responds:

“…I do will it.  Be made clean….”

(Mk 1: 40-41)

Whether we are dealing with the effects of the destructive skin lesions in the leper or the effects that sin has on the human soul, God’s desire remains the same.  Let us ponder the Words of God the Father to the world, the Lessons of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Messages of Our Lady of Emmitsburg in relation to the “God’s Forgiveness of Us” and the healing and transforming effects of His grace:

Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes—February 11, 2018

Invocations to Our Lady of Lourdes...

In 1858, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous near Lourdes, France, identifying herself as “I am the Immaculate Conception,” and calling sinners to conversion as well as prayer and charity, especially for the sick and poor. In more recent times this feast has also been identified with the World Day of Prayer for the Sick.

Join us in a 9-day Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes along with her Litany as we pray together for the physical, psychological and spiritual health of all those who are in need on this World Day of the Sick:

Novena to Our Lady of Lourdes...

Litany of Our Lady of Lourdes...

What has OLOE said on her great feast of Lourdes?

“…I have spoken in the past that my Son is the Light of the world. If something is not correct, then if you do not speak up and challenge and change this, you will be held accountable. There are many of my beloved Christian children who are so afraid, afraid because they are confused and afraid because they fear disobedience; but there has also been a tremendous sin of omission on the part of some in the Church Hierarchy. Because this is the Center of my Most Immaculate Heart, it is important that all my children, those who are afraid, those who are confused, and those who won’t stand up even if there be the sin of omission, all of them must look to their Mother. I am the Mother of all the children of this world. See how I not only defended my Son, but how I also will defend the Truth, as I will defend you….” (OLOE Private 02-11-06)

"But it is not the same today as it was yesterday, for the moment now is different than yesterday. However, the outcome can be the same because, when Love is the source and core of all your prayers, then all your incentives and efforts, regardless of age and wisdom, lead back to the Truth, as if it was yesterday. You become like a newborn child, comforted within the womb of God." (OLOE Private 02-11-07)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg February 11, 2007...

In the 2008 celebration of the 150th Year Anniversary of Our Lady’s Apparitions in Lourdes, France, Pope Benedict XVI used it as an opportunity to address the idolatry in our world and how it has diverted humanity from the Truth:

“…Has not our modern world created its own idols? Has it not imitated, perhaps inadvertently, the pagans of antiquity, by diverting man from his true end, from the joy of living eternally with God? This is a question that all people, if they are honest with themselves, cannot help but ask. What is important in my life? What is my first priority? The word “idol” comes from the Greek and means “image”, “figure”, “representation”, but also “ghost”, “phantom”, “vain appearance”. An idol is a delusion, for it turns its worshipper away from reality and places him in the kingdom of mere appearances. Now, is this not a temptation in our own day – the only one we can act upon effectively? The temptation to idolize a past that no longer exists, forgetting its shortcomings; the temptation to idolize a future which does not yet exist, in the belief that, by his efforts alone, man can bring about the kingdom of eternal joy on earth! Saint Paul explains to the Colossians that insatiable greed is a form of idolatry (cf. 3:5), and he reminds his disciple Timothy that love of money is the root of all evil. By yielding to it, he explains, “some have wandered away from the faith and pierced their hearts with many pangs” (1 Tim 6:10). Have not money, the thirst for possessions, for power and even for knowledge, diverted man from his true Destiny, from the truth about himself?...”

2018 World Day of the Sick

Feb. 11, 2018

Pope Francis’ Homily on this 2018 World Day of the Sick

The Holy Father emphatically explains Our Lady’s role in this healing ministry of our heavenly Mother which was expanded at the Foot of the Cross to include all of humanity and will continue forever:

“…The unspeakable pain of the Cross pierces Mary’s soul (cf. Lk 2:35), but does not paralyze her.  Quite the opposite.  As the Lord’s Mother, a new path of self-giving opens up before her.  On the Cross, Jesus showed his concern for the Church and all humanity, and Mary is called to share in that same concern.  In describing the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the Acts of the Apostles show that Mary began to carry out this role in the earliest community of the Church.  A role that never ceases….”

Lent 2018

Ash Wednesday - February 14, 2018

On Ash Wednesday each year, millions of Catholics and Christians throughout the world begin their Lenten Season with a blessing and the distribution of ashes in the form of a Cross on their forehead. This is most often accompanied by the words:

“Remember that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return.”
(Gen 3:19)

“Repent, and believe in the Gospel.”
(Mk 1:15)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg, Our Jesus of Mercy, and Almighty God the Father said to the world regarding this theme of dust?

Our Lady

“...God will have the last say in everything.... My words to you from Heaven are a gift and a true blessing in grace. Those who desire and receive them and who devour the words of God are the ones truly safe.... What is being revealed is the Truth. Those who desire to deceive God become entrapped within their own ways, and in the end all are exposed. From dust you were created and unto dust you shall return. You were clothed as you came into this world with the grace of God, and nothing of the world was there. As you return, nothing goes with you, only the grace. If you received it and used it and claimed it, it is yours. Otherwise, it returns back to the Creator.”

Jesus of Mercy

“…Nourish your soul with the food of everlasting life. You feed your bodies without feeding your souls. It is your soul that lives, and your bodies which die and return to dust! Nourish your souls!...” (JOM, Vol II, #5, 09-29-89)

“There are many of My people who, when things do not succeed with them as planned, grow impatient. Remember, the ways you would like to control are not in your power to control. It is not within your power to acquire. Those, who act as if they have been awarded this power, live only amongst the deception of their own selves and, sooner or later, will be overthrown. Your worldly wealth and selfish desires to succeed monetarily through control and power are only short-lived! The time will soon come when all must face death; and this death is a reality of life which no one has control over, only the Heavenly, Divine, Almighty God!.... Live now in preparation to succeed in this death to life! You are but dust; and yet, because I spared you through My Death, your soul is precious!...” (JOM, Vol IV, #63, 07-29-92)

God the Father

“...The time of great importance is here.... You cannot stop the Hand of God! I do what I desire. I give, and I take away. I am the Alpha and the Omega. I am the fire at night to lead in darkness, and the cloud in day to protect from danger.... Life (physical life) is only dust - a life that is breathed into you. The soul is accountable and lives for all eternity. Where the soul goes depends on your free will.... As a rule for your own fate: reconcile and love, for I am a God Who is Just and Merciful. Only I weigh out the ultimate Truth.” (GTF 08-08-08)

Today marks the beginning of another Lenten Season, one which some of the many mystics and prophets around the world have led us to believe may be the last Lenten Season in which we will have the opportunity to celebrate in the traditional way. What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on previous feasts of Ash Wednesday?

“…My Son suffered for you to overcome humanity's resistance through its sin. People do not like to suffer and will oftentimes attempt to run away and not accept their suffering or pain. Yet, my Son accepted all of that suffering for you. He makes everything new! You are imperfect because of the act of original sin, but my Son cleanses and renews you through His Love and Paschal suffering. He will make you holy and wise if you desire to be holy and wise….” (OLOE Public 05-30-96)

OLOE Public, Ash Wednesday, February 25, 2004...

“This is a time of renewal, the time when each of you can join with my Son by looking at all the areas in your lives and mending them, focusing all of your attention on Jesus so that He can heal you. This is a redemptive time, a time when each of you should be doing good to your neighbor, not speaking harshly, not slandering, not gossiping, and not allowing hatred to fill your hearts. It is a time of hospitality instead of hostility, one in which you are gracious in giving and gracious in receiving….” (OLOE Private 05-30-05)

Feast of St. Valentine - February 14

Patron of Love, Young People and Happy Marriages (+270)

A Prayer for St. Valentine's Day

Most Gracious Heavenly Father, You gave St. Valentine the courage to witness to the Gospel of Christ, even to the point of giving his life for it. Help us to endure all suffering for love of You and to seek You with all our hearts; for You alone are the source of Life and Love. Grant that we may have the courage and love to be strong witnesses to your Truth to our friends and family and to the world. Grant, we beseech You, that we who celebrate this glorious martyrdom of St. Valentine, Your servant, may by his intercession be filled with the love of God and neighbor and be delivered from all the evils that threaten us. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, Who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen

What do we know about St. Valentine?...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on St. Valentine's feast?

“…You have an obligation to God, both morally and spiritually, to defend the Truth and to uphold what you have been commissioned to do. When you have done your best, and even if all fails, then you are not held accountable for the actions of others….” (OLOE Private 02-14-04)

“…There are so many who are fearful, and very few who are willing to be a pillar of Light and a leader to help guide others gently, and sometimes forcefully, towards God. There are many people all over the world who see and hear words that are Divine, and they do not have the wisdom and the discernment through the power of the Holy Spirit to move forward…. I have Plan; and in a loving way as a Mother, I must reveal it while yet protecting this Church…. What is being revealed is the Truth. …As you came into the world you were clothed with the grace of God, and nothing of the world was there. As you return, nothing goes with you, only the grace. If you received it and used it and claimed it, it is yours. Otherwise, it returns back to the Creator….” (OLOE Public 02-14-06)

“…My Son loves you and you are treasured by Him…. Children, you can love. You can change. You can hope, and you can live the gift of faith. All things are possible because nothing is impossible with God…. How blessed are you who open your heart to live His Word in His Love, through His Love, and by all the gifts of His Love…. Keep what is true in your heart, for there is your treasure….” (OLOE Private 05-30-05)

Private Revelations 12:1

In September, 2005, a private ministry, Fear Not, Inc., committed to spreading Our Lady’s Plan to the world was formed by Nikki and Alan Todd in Mahanoy, Pennsylvania. Their first publication was a newspaper edition entitled Private Revelation 12:1, referring to the scriptural passage, “A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” (Rev. 12:1). They have subsequently published many tools of evangelization, most recently the monthly booklet, Immaculate Heart and Soul. They are also the sponsors of the monthly First Sunday Worldwide Prayer Group in honor of Our Lady of Emmitsburg, and select a previous message to ponder and discuss with your local groups.

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
