REVEREND JOSEPH M. ESPER is a priest of the Archdiocese of Detroit and pastor of Immaculate Conception parish in Anchorville, Michigan. He received his Master of Divinity degree from St. John’s Provincial Seminary in Plymouth, Michigan. Through the years, Father Joe has lectured at Marian conferences, appeared on EWTN, spoken on Catholic radio, and written more than a dozen articles.  Many of his most recent books are available through Queenship Publishing.

Fr. Esper ties together in a very understandable and methodical way what we may very well may expect as we progress through these end times:

Feast of St. John Neumann - January 5

Bohemian Redemptorist Missionary, Bishop of Philadelphia

“Everyone who breathes, high and low, educated and ignorant, young and old, man and woman, has a mission, has a work. We are not sent into this world for nothing; we are not born at random; we are not here, that we may go to bed at night and get up in the morning, toil for our bread, eat and drink, laugh and joke, sin when we have a mind, and reform when we are tired of sinning, rear a family and die. God sees every one of us; He creates every soul, …for a purpose. He needs, He deigns to need every one of us. He has an end for each of us; we are all equal in His sight, and we are placed in our different ranks and stations, not to get what we can out of them for ourselves, but to labor in them for Him. As Christ has worked, we too have but to labor in them for Him. As Christ has His work, we too have ours; as He rejoiced to do his work, we must rejoice in ours also.” (St. John Neumann, 1811-1860)

Brief biography and Prayer...

What has Our Lord in His Lessons said on His American Bishop's feast?

“…My Kingdom is your kingdom; and if your life is now united with mine, you are living now in My Kingdom! It is a choice that all My children have. If you keep yourself pure and consecrate your life to Me, you will be protected, dwell in My Kingdom, and share in My Glory…. This is the time to bring My children home…. When My people love each other, they allow Me to love them! Living in My Kingdom is allowing love to flow like a river from one to another…. Please come! The gates to My Kingdom have been unlatched!” (JOM, Vol I, #26, 01-05-89, Kingdom)

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:
January 5, 1989...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on St. John Neumann's feast?

“…I also give you a blessing from my most beloved saint (St. John Neumann), so that he can come to your aid as I come to your aid, and as all the saints are rising to this occasion at the Center of my Immaculate Heart. There are also many people who wish to move closer. They want to know that God is with them and that the Eucharistic Reign shall unfold most brilliantly and valiantly, and most evidently with the enlightenment of the soul in the minds and hearts of all mankind….” (OLOE Public 01-05-04)

Feast of St. André Bessette - January 6th

First Canadian-born, male saint, brother & St. Joseph devotee (1845-1937)

“I am only a man, just like you…. I will pray for you.”
(St. André Bessette)

Alfred Bessette became a Holy Cross brother in Montreal, Canada, in the late 19th century. Through his kindness and caring, many souls experienced healing and renewal, most especially through his devotion to St. Joseph. In a devotional prayer to Blessed André, we pray:

“Blessed Brother André, your devotion to St. Joseph is an inspiration to us. You gave your life selflessly to bring the message of his life to others. Pray that we may learn from St. Joseph, and from you, what it is like to care for Jesus and do his work in the world. Amen

St. André is noted for his great devotion to St. Joseph and his trust in his powerful intercession. Join us in this 9-day Novena Prayer that Never Fails, as we implore the aid of both St. Joseph and St. André for our families, our Church, our nation and our world:

Novena Prayer that Never Fails...

What has Our Lord in His Lessons said on the feast of St. André Bessette?

“…I carry the Wounds in My Most Sacred Heart from all the division and wicked ways so many have chosen to pursue…. I want My people to know that the amount of love they render to their neighbor is the amount of love they have for Me. Ponder My Words and recognize your position with your neighbor. Evaluate your self-love which consists of conditions, and strive to love as I am Love. Practice! Purity of heart rises from unconditional service and charity. ….” (JOM, Vol I, #4, 01-06-95, Love of God is Love of Neighbor)

I AM Your Jesus of Mercy:
January 6, 1995...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on the feast of St. André?

“…At all costs, never leave my Son. Never walk away from Him. All the evil that affects you through tribulations is not vindictive from God. His Love and Mercy is protecting you. But you know that the time is nearing; the time is nearing where things will get far worse because so few are taking this to heart and unifying in the Truth….” (OLOE Private 01-06-00)

“…This is a time to remove the obstacles preventing you from having an intimate union with God…. This is a rejuvenating time, but a time of cleansing from the ways of your ‘self’. This is a time of contemplation, as joy awaits each one of you as you are graced to seek union with God. There are many areas in your lives which block you from living His Love fully. Jesus... desires each of you to discover the meaning behind your life….” (OLOE Public 01-06-00)

“When you invoke St. Joseph, you don’t have to say much.
Say, 'If you were in my place, St. Joseph, what would you do?
Well, pray for this on my behalf.’”

(Blessed Andre Bessette)

Feast of the Epiphany - January 7, 2018

The Hidden Life, by Our Lord Jesus Christ, The Three Kings

Prayer to the Holy Magi

O Holy Magi, who regarded neither the severity of the season, nor the inconveniences of the journey that you might find the newborn Messiah; obtain for us the grace not to allow ourselves to be discouraged by any of the difficulties which may meet us on the way of salvation. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. (Our Lady of Emmitsburg, Dec. 26, 1996)

My Gift to the Christchild...

In the Responsorial Hymn on this Solemnity of the Epiphany, we sing:

“Lord, every nation on earth will adore you.”
(Ps 72:11)

On this Feast of the Epiphany, let us ponder the words and sentiments of Sacred Scripture, Our Lady of Emmitsburg and two of her beloved saints, Faustina and Therese of Lisieux, as it relates to the Adorable Child:

The Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord—January 8, 2018

In the 1st liturgical reading from the Book of the Prophet Isaiah on the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord, we read a verse particular pertinent to the “end times” in which we are living:

“…Seek the Lord while He may be found,

call Him while He is near.

Let the scoundrel forsake his way,

and the wicked man his thoughts;

let him turn to the Lord for mercy,

to our God Who is generous in forgiving….”

 (Is 55: 6-7)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on her Son's Baptismal feast?

“Now is the time embarking upon the world when humanity will know the Truth of Christ…. The world will also know of the truth of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart and that my Son has come not only as a Child, as a Salvific Savior, but as the Child who will rule the world in Truth in the beginning of the new era. Not all people understand the meaning of the Child, and they also do not understand that to be a “child” one has to be born through the Holy Spirit in the purity of the womb, to come forth to bear the Cross as did the Salvific Savior; and as one takes this Cross, not the entire Cross itself, but only one little sliver of the Cross, it will be revealed to each soul the Truth of Who My Son is….

“…Everyone is looking for a magnificent, triumphant new beginning. Yes, the new beginning is unfolding, triumphant indeed; but the way God works throughout history and in this very time is always magnificently mysterious. The mystery of Christ’s Love is such that all can live in their faith and rise to a new beginning where all shall know that they have been created in the oneness and likeness of the Triune God….” (OLOE Private 01-12-03, The Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord)

“…Remember: ‘Littleness’ is greatness, and to be great you can be the tiniest atom that hides within my Son’s Heart. There you are protected. God did not need me, He chose me; and as He does not need anyone, He chooses you. Why! Because He loves you in His Plan for the fulfillment of ‘life’ and the salvation of humanity….” (OLOE Private 01-10-10)

Pope Benedict XVI on the Baptism of Jesus

“…The Baptism of Jesus at the Jordan is the anticipation of His Baptism of Blood on the Cross, and it is a symbol of the entire sacramental activity by which the Redeemer will bring about the salvation of humanity….” (Pope Benedict XVI, Angelus Homily, 01-07-07, The Feast of the Baptism of the Lord)

Words of God the Father - January 8, 2007

Eleven years ago today, on January 8, 2007. God the Father in His  Words to humanity seems to imply that the time for more messages from heaven—messages of consolation messages of preparation and messages of warning—is about to be exhausted, leaving behind only “chaos.”  And then, “Prepare as if today is your last…!”:

“…Perhaps the world has heard too many messages to believe that the Truth is about to unfold on those of humanity who continue in their own ways.  Those who devote themselves in prayer, in charity, and in love and kindness are redeemed.  Those who displace and push Me aside, and who do not pay attention nor even care, acting as if another century or two or even hundreds of years will unfold before any happenings, are misled!...

“…Words I have said throughout the generations; and each time they are said, it seems there is less attention paid to them.  If you cannot heed My Words of Truth now, then how will you heed the words in the human world, coming from governments---from counties, states, and nations?  How will you heed their words?

Prepare as if today is your last….”

Daily Consecration to the Eternal Father

For the greater glory of God and for the salvation of all, I consecrate myself to You, O' Eternal Father, as one of Your faithful remnant. Behold, I come to do Your Will. With the help of Your Grace, I will keep Your Commandments. I will love and reverence You with all my heart, soul, mind and strength. I will love my neighbor as You love me.

I make this Consecration through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Your beloved Son, Jesus.

O' Eternal Father, send forth Your Holy Spirit to restore my/our broken image and likeness of You. Send forth also Your entire Heavenly Court, all the celestial choirs of Your angels and all Your Saints, to aid me/us in my/our struggle against all the forces of evil in this present darkness. Amen.

(Adapted from the Father of All Mankind Apostolate)

The Lord's Prayer

How many of us have said the “Our Father” with so little thought, so little reverence, and so little fruitfulness? However, when we are open to the Holy Spirit within us and pray from the heart, look at what can happen:"

Our Father, (“Our” Father—not “My” Father - all of God’s children of all races, all colors & all creeds)

Our Father, (Abba, “Daddy” God)

Who art in Heaven, (and Who art in me)

Hallowed be Thy Name. (Holy be Thy Name, praised be Thy Name, thanks be to Thy Most Holy Name)

Thy Kingdom come. (now - on earth and in me)

Thy Will be done, (now - on earth and in me)

on earth as it is in Heaven. (at the Throne of God, with the Trinity, Our Lady and all the Angels & Saints)

Give us this day our daily bread. (the Bread of your Divine Will, the Bread of Life in the Eucharist, and the bread we need to eat to sustain our bodies)

And forgive us our trespasses(forgive us our sins, and our imperfections in the face of temptation)

As we forgive those (or as we choose not to forgive those) who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,(for we are weak, we are worthless, we are wretched & we are nothing)

But deliver us from evil.(for it is only through your grace, not by our works alone nor our merit that we can escape eternal damnation)

Amen. (So I hope. So be it).

Am I a Roman Catholic?

If asked on an application or on a hospital admission form, “Religion,” what does it require for me to honestly answer that question, “Catholic”? Fr. Michael Miller, President of University of St. Thomas in a 2003 homily answered an important part of that question as it regards to Life:

Private Revelations 12:1

In September, 2005, a private ministry, Fear Not, Inc., committed to spreading Our Lady’s Plan to the world was formed by Nikki and Alan Todd in Mahanoy, Pennsylvania. Their first publication was a newspaper edition entitled Private Revelation 12:1, referring to the scriptural passage, “A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” (Rev. 12:1). They have subsequently published many tools of evangelization, most recently the monthly booklet, Immaculate Heart and Soul. They are also the sponsors of the monthly First Sunday Worldwide Prayer Group in honor of Our Lady of Emmitsburg, and select a previous message to ponder and discuss with your local groups.

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
