Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus...

Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ –June18, 2017

In today’s Gospel from St. John we hear Our Lord speaking to the Hewish crowd:

“…Amen, Amen, I say to you, unless you eat of the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink His Blood, you do not have life within you.  Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood has eternal life, and I will raise him on the last day….Whoever eats My Flesh and drinks My Blood remains in Me and I in him….”       (Jn 6: 51-57)

And Who better to draw from in regards to this act of adoration in the True Presence of our God in the Eucharist than Our Lord Jesus Christ in His LessonsOur Lady of Emmitsburg in her Messages, the Saints of the Church and its Catechism?

ADORATION -Part II Adoration of the Eucharist

Early in the course of Gianna's mystical events, Our Lord Himself spoke to her at the time she received Holy Communion during the Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass:

"My dear one, I am now within you! It is in the Eucharist that I am consecrated to you and you to Me. Many of My people do not realize what it means to receive My Body. My people do not realize the power they receive when they receive the Eucharist. It is My power - the Power of Christ!" (JOM, Vol I, #3, 11-05-88, Eucharist)

Our Lord in His Lessons also expresses one of His continuing sorrows:

"My sorrow is in viewing the many who do not wish to receive My Body and Blood. If there was only one priest who performed the consecration of My Eucharist in only one sanctuary, people would flock to receive Me. They would want to see the Divine Mysteries. But there are many priests who have the power of My Mystery; and yet, there are so few who receive it with an open heart.... If you do not wish My Love and gifts, your hearts will freeze and your souls die! ...Come to Me and receive My Mercy, the gift of your redemption which awaits to be claimed."
(JOM, Vol II, #19, 11-07-89, Sorrow)

Throughout history many wars have been waged over religious beliefs and religious intolerance, however Our Lord in His Lessons addresses this in the context of the Eucharist:

"...People worship in My churches and claim their form of worship is the truest. Woe to those who disclaim a form of prayer to My Father! ...I, your Lord God, love all who come to Me to be loved! I love in all forms of worship and prayer. It is true that I, through My Body in Eucharist, am in the purest form of consecration to you. However, that is a choice My children have. Many people will say that because of your religion, you think you are closer to Me. It is not because of your religion, My Child; it is because of your open, loving heart...." (JOM, Vol I, #7, 11-09-88, Religions)

Feast of the Body and Blood of Christ - (continued)

The Miracle of Eucharist

What has OLOE said of the Body and Blood of her Son?

“…The world is one in turmoil. This world is one in which many have drifted, and many do not know which way to turn…. Regardless of religion, they shall come forth; and they shall know the Truth. They shall know that through the sacrificial suffering of my Son and through the Truth that lies within His Precious Body and Blood are revealed not only His Life, but also His ultimate Death which gave Life to everyone….” (OLOE Private 04-12-03)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg April 12, 2003...

“…Tribulation and turmoil continue to exist because of the free will of people and the division among even those who are Christian. The ultimate security, the prophetic message and the Truth rest in what this feast day celebrates, namely the Body and Blood of my Son which I witnessed Him give to you….” (OLOE Private 08-25-03)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg August 25, 2003...

“…The entire understanding of the Eucharistic Reign of my Son lies in these few words, ‘The Word was made Flesh.’ There you will find at the Center of my Immaculate Heart the entire key to the mystery of the Eucharistic Reign: ‘The Word was made Flesh.’ ...My Son gave His Life and allowed, through the hands of the priests, the mystery of the Consecration of bread and wine to become His Body and Blood. This was for one main purpose…. If each person in this world believed that in this act of the Consecration there is my Son, then all of humanity would be at Peace at this moment, and not one human eye could gaze upon Him without each person being prostrate….”

Pope John Paul II Homily, given on the Feast of Corpus Christi,
June 14, 2001:

"...‘All ate and were satisfied' (Lk 9:17). The echo of a feast that has gone on without interruption for 2,000 years reaches us through the words of the Gospel we have just heard. A Feast of the people on their way in their exodus from the world, nourished by Christ the true Bread of salvation...."

An Act of Spiritual Communion

There are reasons and rules why both Catholics and non-Catholics may not be able to receive the Holy Eucharist sacramentally on a given day, for a period of time or forever; but that is not a reason not to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and Eucharistic Adoration, making use of an Act of Spiritual Communion:

Father's Day - June 18, 2017

Father's Day was initially founded in Spokane Washington, USA, by Sonora Smart Dodd, in honor of her father who was a civil war veteran and who as a single parent had reared his 6 children. The celebration first drew national recognition by President Woodrow Wilson in 1916 and by President Calvin Coolidge in 1924; but it was not until 1966 that President Lyndon Johnson issued a presidential proclamation honoring fathers on the third Sunday in June as ,b>Father's Day, and this was signed into law in 1972 by President Richard Nixon. Many countries celebrate and International Men's Day on November 19 for men who are fathers.

In His Words to the world, our Heavenly Father delivers His own Father's Day message:

“…As the God of your fathers and forefathers, I am your God of Light, always there to be by you, to protect you and to intervene. I am a good, loving Father; and yet, so many are afraid to come to Me. Please, children, in all My messages to you, whether they be warnings or challenges, I am still a compassionate Father, full of Mercy and Love. Look to Me, and change your ways. What ‘father' would deny a son or a daughter for straying from the Truth? ...A great new beginning awaits you, and one where I will be with you....You are never alone, in all that you do and in all that you say. In everything that you are, I am!...” (GTF 06-08-08)

Words of God the Father June 8, 2008...

We have made an effort to honor our earthly fathers, and this is rightly so; but it seems that humanity has all but ignored our Heavenly Father. On June 21, 2009, in His Words of God the Father given to the world, our Heavenly Father spoke:

“…Know this: As God, your Father, I bless you; but with all the blessings I give to you in your life, what do you do with them? ...All things come from My Hands. What I will is dispensed…What is it you truly desire?... You misuse and abuse all that is given... Who is the Giver? We all know who the receivers are. But who truly gives back to Me? ...O' foolish nation, one that I gave to and created for good! Look what free will has done!.. Few shall live, many will die!... O' children of humanity, you have a choice… It is worse than in the days of Noah…”   (GTF, Father's Day, 06-21-09)

A Father's Prayer...

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on previous Father's Days?

“…The family is so important, especially families who pray and join together in Love. This is a special day also for me and my beloved St. Joseph, such a just man, who stayed by my side in the midst of all the turmoil that he knew I would endure. How he trusted God in faith!”

(OLOE Private 06-18-06)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg June 18, 2006...

“…What is important this evening is that the family unit is ‘holy,’ and more attention must be given to the unit itself: the father, the mother and the children. Prayer must be essential. Yes, there are good times with much happiness, and there are troubled times, even with tribulations, frustrations, challenges and sorrow; but the family unit will live, if you desire it. Make family prayer a priority; and if your children cannot pray with you, then pray for them!... Use this time very wisely and pray together, husband and wife. There you are safe, not only within my Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, but deeply imbedded within the Triune God…” (OLOE Private 06-14-08)

Litany of Divine Providence...

The Lord's Prayer

How many of us have said the “Our Father” with so little thought, so little reverence, and so little fruitfulness? However, when we are open to the Holy Spirit within us and pray from the heart, look at what can happen:"

Our Father, (“Our” Father, not “My” Father - all of God’s children of all races, all colors & all creeds)

Our Father, (Abba, “Daddy” God)

Who art in Heaven, (and Who art in me)

Hallowed be Thy Name. (Holy be Thy Name, praised be Thy Name, thanks be to Thy Most Holy Name)

Thy Kingdom come. (now - on earth and in me)

Thy Will be done, (now - on earth and in me)

on earth as it is in Heaven. (at the Throne of God, with the Trinity, Our Lady and all the Angels and Saints)

Give us this day our daily bread. (the Bread of your Divine Will, the Bread of Life in the Eucharist, and the bread we need to eat to sustain our bodies)

And forgive us our trespasses(forgive us our sins, our imperfections and our hesitancies in the face of temptation)

As we forgive those (or as we choose not to forgive those) who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation,(for we are weak, we are worthless, we are wretched & we are nothing)

But deliver us from evil.(for it is only through your grace, not by our works alone nor our merit that we can escape eternal damnation)

Amen. (So I hope. So be it).

Feast of St. Aloysius Gonzaga - June 21

Italian Jesuit religious and Patron of Catholic Youth & Teenagers

“There is no more evident sign
that anyone is a saint
and of the number of the elect,
than to see him leading a good life
and at the same time a prey
to desolations, suffering and trials.”

(St. Aloysius Gonzaga, 1568-1591)

Brief biography of St. Aloysius of Gonzaga

What has OLOE said on the feast of this Jesuit youth, Aloysius?

“…Too often many people seek other signs and want consolations and comfort. What you have is something great, perhaps even abused, in that you do not even realize the tremendous joy that has been offered to you from Heaven, the protection, the blessings, the graces, the gift to persevere, the courage to move on, and the Seal of Love from Heaven above. At some time in your lives, each one of you will see what has been given to you, what you have, what you have missed, what you could have obtained, and the challenge of what you can continue to grasp and receive in the future….”

Special Prayer of Trust to the BVM by St. Aloysius Gonzaga...

A Prayer to be Said by Young Men
St. Aloysius Gonzaga

O’ most glorious St. Aloysius, who has been honored by the Church with the fair title of “angelic youth,” because of the love of utmost purity thou didst lead here on earth, I come before thy presence this day with all the devotion of my mind and heart. O’ perfect exemplar, kind and powerful patron of young men, how great is my need of thee! The world and the devil are trying to ensnare me; I am conscious of that ardor of my passions; I know full well the weakness and inconstancy of my age. Who shall be able to keep me safe, if not thou, O’ saint of angelic purity, the glory and honor, the loving protector of youth? To thee, therefore, I have recourse with all my soul; to thee I commit myself with all my heart. I thereby resolve, promise, and desire to be especially devout toward thee, to glorify thee by imitating thy extraordinary virtues, and in particular they angelic purity, to copy they example, and to promote devotion to thee among my companions. O’ dear St. Aloysius, do thou guard and defend me always, in order that, under thy protection and following thy example, I may one day be able to join with thee in seeing and praising my God forever in heaven. Amen.

Private Revelations 12:1

In September, 2005, a private ministry, Fear Not, Inc., committed to spreading Our Lady’s Plan to the world was formed by Nikki and Alan Todd in Mahanoy, Pennsylvania. Their first publication was a newspaper edition entitled Private Revelation 12:1, referring to the scriptural passage, “A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” (Rev. 12:1). They have subsequently published many tools of evangelization, most recently the monthly booklet, Immaculate Heart and Soul. They are also the sponsors of the monthly First Sunday Worldwide Prayer Group in honor of Our Lady of Emmitsburg, and select a previous message to ponder and discuss with your local groups.

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all e-newsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,

Pray for us!
