The Month Dedicated to the Holy Family

But while he thought on these things,
behold the angel of the Lord
appeared to him in his sleep, saying:
“Joseph, son of David,
fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife,
for that which is conceived in her,
is of the Holy Ghost…”

(Mt 1:20)

The Month Dedicated to the Holy Family

O Jesus, our most loving Redeemer, who having come to enlighten the world with Thy teaching and example, didst will to pass the greater part of Thy life in humility and subjection to Mary and Joseph in the poor home of Nazareth, thus sanctifying the Family that was to be an example for all Christian families, graciously receive our family as it dedicates and consecrates itself to Thee this day. Do Thou protect us, guard us and establish amongst us Thy holy fear, true peace and concord in Christian love: in order that by living according to the divine pattern of Thy family we may be able, all of us without exception, to attain to eternal happiness.

Mary, dear Mother of Jesus and Mother of us, by the kindly intercession make this our humble offering acceptable in the sight of Jesus, and obtain for us His graces and blessings.

O Saint Joseph, most holy Guardian of Jesus and Mary, help us by thy prayers in all our spiritual and temporal needs; that so we may be enabled to praise our divine Savior Jesus, together with Mary and thee, for all eternity. Amen.

(Say an Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be three times.)

Catholics and all Christians Unite
in
Nineveh 90

In 2017, the 100 year anniversary of the apparitions and prophecies of Our Lady of Fatima, private revelation, consistent with both Scriptural prophecy and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, could lead many of the faithful to anticipate much change, both in the Church and the world, change which necessitates spiritual preparation of the faithful. Please consider joining and signing up for this Nineveh 90 movement beginning February 13 and running through May 13, 2017, the 100 year anniversary of Our Lady’s first apparition in Fatima in 1917:

7th Sunday in Ordinary Time - February 19, 2017

On this Sunday in Ordinary Time oth the Old Testament Book of Leviticus and in St. Paul’s Letter to the Corinthians, God’s Holiness and our pursuit of holiness are paramount:

The Lord said to Moses,
“Speak to the whole Israelite community and tell them:
‘Be holy, for I, the Lord, your God, am holy’….”

(Lev 19: 1-2)

“Brothers and sisters:
Do you not know that you are the temple of God,
And that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person;
for the temple of God, which you are, is holy….”
(Cor 3:16)

Let us ponder what God the Father in His Words to the world, Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Lessons and Our Lady of Emmitsburg in her Messages share regarding the attribute that allows each of us to become a saint - holiness:

Feast of St. Bernadette Soubirous - February 18

French peasant, Marian visionary, Sister of Charity

“You will not find happiness in this world, but only in the next.”
(Our Lady of Lourdes to Bernadette)

NOVENA TO SAINT BERNADETTE SOUBIROUS
(Say for nine days or as a perpetual novena.)

Dear Saint Bernadette, Chosen by Almighty God as a channel of His Graces and Blessings, and through your humble obedience to the requests of Our Blessed Mother, Mary, you gained for us the Miraculous waters of Spiritual and physical healing.

We implore you to listen to our pleading prayers that we may be healed of our Spiritual and physical imperfections.

Place our petitions in the Hands of our Holy Mother, Mary, so that She may place them at the feet of Her beloved Son, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that He may look on us with mercy and compassion: (Make Petition)

Help, O Dear Saint Bernadette to follow your example, so that irrespective of our own pain and suffering we may always be mindful of the needs of others, especially those whose sufferings are greater than ours.

As we await the Mercy of God, remind us to offer up our pain and suffering for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins and blasphemies of mankind.

Pray for Saint Bernadette, that like you, we may always be obedient to the will of Our Heavenly Father, and that through our prayers and humility we may bring consolation to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary that have been so grievously wounded by our sins.

Holy Saint Bernadette of Lourdes, Pray for us. AMEN.

One Decade of the Rosary.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee. (Say Three Times)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on the feast of St. Bernadette?

“This is a time of special grace, when my Son suffered for you so that you could be renewed and would know how truly you are loved…. There is a change to come soon. For many of you who have suffered so tremendously, the great gift of Joy is soon at hand. There will be changes in the world because God looks upon this world desiring to bring back once again all those who have walked away from Him. His Justice will prevail. All of you who love Him with all your hearts are protected with the Seal of the Cross and saved through His Precious Blood….” (OLOE Public 05-30-96)

“…I must die to myself continually and accept trials without complaining.
I work, I suffer and I love with no other witness than His Heart.
Anyone who is not prepared to suffer all for the Beloved
and to do His Will in all things is not worthy of the sweet name of Friend,
for here below, Love without suffering does not exist….”
(St. Bernadette, 1844-1879)

Feast of St. Peter Damien - February 21

Bishop and Doctor of the Church (1007-1072)

Prayer of St. Peter Damien to the Mary as Mother of Mercy

“…In your hands are the treasures of the Lord’s mercy. You alone have been chosen to receive this great privilege. Far be it from you that your hand should cease to give, eager as you are for an occasion to save the wretched and to pour forth your mercy. For your glory is not lessened but enhanced when sorrowful sinners obtain forgiveness and, justified, are taken to Heaven. It is our highest glory next to God, to behold you, to cleave to you, and to stay under your strong protection. Hear us, for even your Son honors you by refusing nothing to you - He Who is God, blessed forever. Amen.”

What has Our Lord said on St. Peter Damien's feast day?

“The evil one cannot irritate you with confusing thoughts if you have given Me your mind. Those who walk with Me and follow Me harbor pure thoughts. Their temptations can only be short-lived, for evil thoughts are not able to manipulate their actions…. If I have your heart, but not your mind, your struggles will persecute you with the complexity of analysis and acceptance of the Truth. You will doubt and easily fall apart at the simplest comment of mockery. You heart will suffer tremendously when it is not in unity with your mind. Your deeds reflect not only the desires of your heart, but also your mind. If your mind harbors impure thoughts and struggles with introspection, then your heart will suffer because this results in conflict….” (JOM, Vol II, #47, 02-21-90, Unity)

Feast of the Chair of St. Peter - February 22

"On this rock I will build my Church”
Pope Benedict XVI Wednesday General Audience
February 22, 2006...

St. Jerome (345-420), most remembered for his translation of the Bible which came to be known as Vulgate, wrote: “I decided to consult the Chair of Peter, where that faith is found exalted by the lips of an Apostle. I now come to ask for nourishment for my soul there, where once I received the garment of Christ. I follow no leader save Christ, so I enter into communion with your beatitude, that is, with the Chair of Peter, for this I know is the rock upon which the Church is built.” (St. Jerome, Le lettere 1, 15, 1-2)

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on the feast of the Papacy?

“…In times of difficulty, acts of patience, self-composure and prayer will help you rise above whatever ailment stresses you…. There is a great deal of pain which afflicts many people in different forms, for this is the way of the present world. Yet, those who hope in the Joy of Jesus will rise to live in His Joy. Jesus will never abandon you. Be at peace knowing He is with you. Calm your anxieties through love and acceptance of yourself, and meet each frustrating circumstance with an open heart. See each element of your life’s experience as an opportunity to grow in love and humility. You will master your difficulties through a resigned and contrite heart….” (OLOE Public 02-22-96)

“If God would rule without respect for free will, there would be no need for me to implore your prayers and assistance. But there is free will, and God has been patient! However, abortion is escalating, greed and hatred are escalating, civil wars are escalating, lack of trust in God is escalating, despair and hopelessness are escalating; but I’m here imploring prayer, giving hope and inviting all to know the Truth.” (OLOE Private 02-21-09)

Feast of St. Polycarp - February 23

Bishop and Martyr (+166)

St. Polycarp became a disciple of St. John the Evangelist who made him Bishop of Smyrna. Later he was condemned to be burned by the Roman Emperor for refusing to deny Christ. The authors of the Acts tell us that they were witnesses of the fact that the flames did not touch him, but formed an arch over his head. Thereupon, he was pierced with a sword; such a great amount of blood issued from the wound that it extinguished the fire.

What has Our Lady of Emmitsburg said on St. Polycarp's feast day?

“…Let the Crucifix be your first source of help on days of misfortune and sufferings. You will find comfort in your sufferings at the Foot of the Cross. Gaze upon the Crucifix with affectionate adoration. You are redeemed through the sufferings of my Son, and He will give to you the strength and courage He asks of you. In your suffering you are submerged into the abandonment of my Son, and salvation results through His Mercy. Do not seek consolation and strength from people, but embrace instead the Foot of the Cross when you are afflicted with misery….” (OLOE Public 02-23-95)

Private Revelations 12:1

In September, 2005, a private ministry, Fear Not, Inc., committed to spreading Our Lady’s Plan to the world was formed by Nikki and Alan Todd in Mahanoy, Pennsylvania. Their first publication was a newspaper edition entitled Private Revelation 12:1, referring to the scriptural passage, “A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.” (Rev. 12:1). They have subsequently published many tools of evangelization, most recently the monthly booklet, Immaculate Heart and Soul. They are also the sponsors of the monthly First Sunday Worldwide Prayer Group in honor of Our Lady of Emmitsburg, and select a previous message to ponder and discuss with your local groups.

Prayer to Save America

During these critical times in U.S. history as well as in salvation history, the Foundation will be including this prayer on all enewsletters.

O merciful God, we cry to Thee for pardon and for mercy.
We are an unbelieving and perverse generation.
We are disobedient, disloyal and ungrateful to Thee.
We have excluded Thee from our homes, our schools, our places of business.
We are no longer worthy to be called Thy children.
Merciful Father, spare America!
Forgive us!
Save us from the scourge we deserve.
Teach us Thy law, and move our wills to serve Thee today and everyday.
Merciful God, please spare America!
O Immaculate Heart of Mary,
Pray for us!
