OLOE Consecration Prayer

Dearest Blessed Mother, Daughter of God the Father, you and your Son Jesus have chosen Emmitsburg to be the “Center of the Immaculate Heart.”

 

Dearest Mary, Mother of the Son, you brought Dubois and Brute, the Founding Fathers of Mt. St. Mary’s College and Seminary, to Emmitsburg during the French Revolution; and you then sent them as missionaries to New York and Indiana, respectively, to evangelize the Good Shepherd’s stray sheep.  Also to New York, you guided Hughes, Corrigan, and McCloskey, the first Cardinal in the United States.  To captivity in China you directed Walsh and to martyrdom in Guatemala, Rother.

 

Dearest Our Lady, Spouse of the Spirit, you disseminated Mother Seton’s Sisters of Charity throughout the United States until ultimately on March 25, 1850, the Feast of the Annunciation, you united them, as you had predicted, with the Daughters of Charity in France.

 

Dearest Virgin, Mother of the Church, on January 31, 1993, the feast date of John Bosco and the birthday of Louis Grignion de Montfort, you invited Gianna Talone-Sullilvan, at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes above Mt. St. Mary’s College and Seminary, to move to Emmitsburg.

 

Later, on March 30, 2000, you told the Emmitsburg visionary, “…my Son is not leaving (Emmitsburg).  I am not leaving….God the Father has chosen this humble place, and His Love and Mercy will do great things for the world.”

 

Dearest Immaculate Heart of Mary, you are the Daughter of the Father, the Mother of the

Son, and the Spouse of the Spirit.  Also, you are our Mediatrix, our Advocate, and our Co-Redemptrix.

 

Dearest Our Lady of Emmitsburg, we thank you, we venerate you, and most of all, we love you!
