Fear of the Future: The New Tomorrow

Part X-B of 12 Part Series

FEAR

“What on earth are you afraid of?”

(Compiled by Michael T. Sullivan, MD)

“Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy

that will be for all the people.  For today in the city of David,

a Savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord.”

(Lk 2:10-11)

In medical terms, “fear” is often defined as an unpleasant, often strong emotion caused by anticipation or awareness of danger, often accompanied by increased autonomic activity (increased heart rate, blood pressure and sweating).  “Anxiety” is defined by an abnormal and overwhelming sense of apprehension and fear often marked by the same physiological signs, by doubt concerning the reality and nature of the threat, and by self-doubt about one’s capacity to cope with it.  However, “fear” in the most general term as used in the English vernacular, and so often in the multitude of mystical gifts from God the Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ and Our Lady of Emmitsburg through Gianna Sullivan, most often implies anxiety and usually loss of courage.  The moral evaluation of anxiety begins with the exercise of prudence, to discover if there are valid grounds for the apprehension.  If there are not, to act on the anxiety or fail to act because of it would be a lack of trusting God’s Providence.

Fear of the Future:  The New Tomorrow

Part B

“Blessed is the one who reads aloud and blessed are those who listen to this prophetic message and heed what is written in it, for the appointed time is near.”

(Rev. 1:3)

The Eucharistic Reign of the Child Jesus

“Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died.

This is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven.

Whoever eats this bread will live forever;

and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world….

Whoever eats My flesh and drinks my blood remains in Me and I in him.”

(Jn 6:49-51, 56)

In 2003 a comprehensive document entitled, the Eucharistic Reign of the Child Jesus, was compiled from all that had been up to that time shared with Gianna by Our Lady of Emmitsburg about this topic.  It is posted on the website for the Foundation of the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

(http://www.centeroftheimmaculateheart.org/messages/messages_eucharistic.asp)

It is not the purpose in this current document, Fear of the Future: The New Tomorrow, to repeat all that information, but rather to now include some of what Our Lady of Emmitsburg has subsequently said about this great time in salvation history:

“Look to this new tomorrow.  Know that it is my Son, the Child Jesus, Who was born in my womb in the purity of the Holy Spirit, Who was brought forth into a cradle, Who now is the Salvific Savor, Who was crucified and died on the Cross for you, and Who is again coming forth in this spiritual Eucharistic Reign.  In this emergence of Life itself is your safety and your protection.”  (Private OLOE, Jan 12, 2003The world may think that the next coming of Jesus will be the Final Judgment of the Risen lord; and yes, at the end of the world it will be the Final Coming of the Risen Lord.  However, no matter who would like to think otherwise, my Son as the Child Jesus is coming in an intermediate coming where He will be there and reign.  There is no way that there can be Peace in the new springtime of grace, with the hope for the new tomorrow and an Era of Peace, without first the coming of the Child Jesus; because humanity must first return to humility, simplicity, dependency and innocence.”  (Private OLOE, Sept. 28, 2003)  “I thank you in advance for all your good works, for all that you do to uphold me here at the Center of my most Immaculate Heart, where my Son is, and where the unveiling of His Divine Mercy truly shall commence.  Yes, my Son, as He rose on the day of His Ascension, will come back in the same way at the end of time.  However, He shall also return, but the world has not yet acknowledged it, in an intermediate way, as my Son the Child—all pure, innocent and honest, alive and hidden in the Eucharist, totally dependent on God the Father, as you too are invited to be.”  (Private OLOE, May 20, 2004)

What Can We Do?

“In this new tomorrow, I encourage you to look to my Son in the Most Holy Eucharist.  The Eucharistic Reign is one in which my Son comes to you.  Without Him you are nothing….O’ how much you should focus on Him!...You can pass off the signs of the times and the man-made catastrophic events, but you cannot pass off what is from God.  God allows things to happen, and all things are possible with God.  The most precious gift you have is my Son in the Most Blessed and Holy Eucharist; and I, His Mother, am right by His side.” (Private OLOE, Jan. 1, 2004)  “You have been invited to participate, to pray, to be well prepared and to look forward to a new tomorrow, to be well versed in what you can say about the Eucharistic Reign of my Son….Jesus is alive and He reigns; and you are invited to be the lighthouse to guide all people into His Living Heart, to warn them of the reefs, to allow them to know that He loves them, and to prepare them for this unveiling of His Divine Mercy.”  (Private OLOE, Sept. 24, 2003)

The Era of Peace

“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth;

and the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind.

But be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create;

for behold I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and be glad in My people;

no more shall be heard in it the sound of weeping and the cry of distress.

No more shall there be in it an infant that lives but a few days,

or an old man who does not fill out his days,

for the child shall die a hundred years old,

and the sinner a hundred years old shall be accursed.

They shall build houses and inhabit them;

they shall  plant vineyards and eat their fruit.

They shall not build and another inhabit;

they shall not plant and another eat;

for like the days of a tree shall the days of My people be,

and My chosen shall long enjoy the work of their hands.

They shall not labor in vain, or bear children for calamity;

for they shall be the offspring of the blessed of the Lord and their children with them.

Before they call I will answer, while they are speaking I will hear.

The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, the lion shall eat straw like the ox;

and dust shall be the serpent’s  food.

They shall not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain says the Lord.

(Is 65: 17-25)

As early as 2000, Our Lady of Emmitsburg was speaking of the Era of Peace, the battles preceding it, the souls at risk and the role of the Child Jesus:

“It is the unveiling of God’s Mercy which will lift this world out of its misery.  Jesus will come a second time and reign.  He is coming, and it will be the return of Jesus as a Child to enlighten the minds and hearts of all people, of all faiths, of all nations and of every race.  His Kingdom shall be an Era of Peace and Hope, and it will be a spiritual quenching for your parched souls.” (Public OLOE, March 2, 2000)  “For this world is passing.  It is better to prepare for the Kingdom of God in which you already live and which is available to all people, even though they may choose not to live within God’s world of Love.  But prepare for this Kingdom coming, for the new Era of Peace.  This Era of Peace is preceded by the confusion and controversy, battles, pain and the other bowls of purification, which the Angel, whose sword I can no longer hold back, will release at God’s command.”  (Private OLOE, Aug. 12, 2006)  “People do not realize that there is an Era of Peace coming; however, many shall be lost.  At this time, 80% of this world shall be lost and killed if they do not accept what is coming before this peaceful tomorrow….If you allow me to guide you and protect you, then all shall unfold….This mission has to do with God Himself, with what has to occur within nations for peace to exist, and with the next return of my Son Jesus in a spiritual Eucharistic Reign.”  (Private OLOE, Aug. 31, 2003)

Rarely has the Child Jesus appeared to Gianna, and even more rare are those times which He has spoken to her.  The Child Jesus appearing as a young boy of 10-11 years old appeared with His Mother in January, 2006, and had this to say:

“Be brave and steadfast.  Unite.  Do not be afraid, but gird your loins and go forth.  Know that victory is at hand.  I have called all of you to lead others into this next era, a very important era for joining together and leading others into a period of relaxation (Era of Peace) where God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit will be glorified and will give glory to Their entire Creation….Know that walking hand in hand is with you the Child, and that Child shall lead you….I bless you with all the grace and Love of God the Father, Who invites you to understand how much He loves you.  In the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, I dwell within my Mother, holy, pure, undefiled and hidden.”  (the Child Jesus to Gianna, Jan. 21, 2006)

The Covenant of the Two Hearts

It was St. Paul who had first identified Jesus as the “New Adam” (1Cor 15:21-22, 45-49), and it was the Apostolic Fathers, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus and Tertullian, who first saw Mary as the “New Eve.”  However in the modern era, two great Popes developed and expressed the framework on which the theology of the Covenant of Two Hearts rests:

During the first part of the 20th century, in 1918, only a few months after Our Lady’s apparitions to the children in Fatima had ceased, Pope Benedict XV wrote:

“According to the common teaching of the Doctors, it was God’s design that the Blessed Virgin Mary, apparently absent from the public life of Jesus, should assist Him when He was dying nailed to the Cross.  Mary suffered and, as it were, nearly died with her suffering Son.  For the salvation of mankind she renounced her mother’s rights and, as far as it depended on her, offered her Son to placate Divine Justice.  So we may well say that she with Christ redeemed mankind.”  (Pope Benedict XV, Inter Sodalicia, Mar 22, 1918)

And at the end of the 20th century, in 2000, Pope John Paul II so beautifully completed this image, making the theology of the Covenant of the Two Hearts even more understandable to the ordinary person:

“Mary has a unique relationship with the Second Person of the Trinity, the Word made Flesh, since she is directly involved in the mystery of the Incarnation.  She is His Mother and, as such, Christ honors and loves her.  At the same time, she recognized Him as her God and Lord, making herself a disciple with an attentive and faithful heart, and his generous associate in the work of Redemption.  In the Incarnate Word and in Mary, the finite distance between the Creator and creature became a supreme closeness. They are the holy space for the mysterious nuptials of the Divine nature with the human, the place where the Trinity is revealed for the first time and where Mary represents the new humanity, ready to take up again, in obedient love, the dialogue of the Covenant.”  (Pope John Paul II, Homily, Sept. 24, 2000)

“A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun,

 with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”

(Rev. 12:1)

In her Messages to the world through Gianna, Our Lady of Emmitsburg shares her own insight regarding the Covenant of the Two Hearts:

“My Immaculate Heart will triumph with my Son, and I desire you to be strong at the hour of His coming.  This world will be purged of its evil, for my Son’s Mercy will restore your souls to grace through the great trial and will lift this world out of its misery….For this next era will be the Covenant of Our Two Hearts…”  (Public OLOE, Mar. 2, 2000)  “The unveiling of my Son’s Divine Mercy is a springtime of grace and brings with it tremendous hope for a new tomorrow.  This will be all in the time God has planned, all in God’s time.  Life is a gift.  Death is a gift.  All is a gift if you dwell within the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.”  (Private OLOE, Nov. 1, 2003)

What is the Covenant of the Two Hearts?

“I will put enmity between you and the woman,

and between your offspring and hers.

She will strike at your head, while you strike at her heel.”

(Gen 3:15)

“I am the Mother of God.  I am not God.  I am pleased to be His faithful and humble handmaid.  I am also your Mother.  I am also pleased to protect you as a mother protects her child.  I am pleased to direct you to Jesus and present you to your King in a manner most desirable to Him.  Our Hearts are inseparable because I desire what He desires.  That is why the Covenant of the Two Hearts will triumph!  Your heart can also be inseparable if you desire only what He desires.”  (Public OLOE, Mar. 19, 1998)  In the midst of this confusion, my Immaculate Heart will triumph and Jesus will reign.  Just when Satan believes he has corrupted the Rock of Peter and that he will be crowned with victory, God will then reveal the Truth, gather His people, and expose the many myths and fallacies which are deceiving you….You can victoriously march through these clouds of evil if you are safely hidden in the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.”  (Public OLOE, Aug, 28, 1997)

“Love and compassion overflow from the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.”  (Public OLOE, Nov. 3, 1994)  “My Heart is a vessel through which goodness and graces shall flow from God above.  It is the Heart that my Son warmed in my womb.  His is there also.  He has received my Heart; and so the Two are One, I in Him, and He in me.  It is because our Hearts are united that it is the Covenant of Two Hearts where all mercy and graces shall abound in tremendous glory.”  (Private OLOE, Feb. 24, 2003)

The Value of the Covenant of the Two Hearts

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.

You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside,

but inside are full of dead men’s bones and every kind of filth.

Even so, on the outside you appear righteous,

but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and evildoing.”

(Mt 23:27-28)

“I can watch over those who desire me and wish for me to protect them and guide them.  If they do not wish my presence, then they do not wish my Son’s Presence either, because of the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.  He became Flesh of my blood.  He is God; I am not, But He, being Divine, became Man to save humanity through me who was not only sinless but also shared the Blood which He carried in His Heart and which He shed and poured forth for all humanity.  I continue to say that I am here, that this is the Center of my Immaculate Heart, and that I will not leave, because this is where my Son is.  But if people continue to be so afraid and so rude, not only to other human beings, but so offensive to God Himself, then even though We will not leave, there will be a price for them to pay for the offenses they commit against His Most Sacred Heart.”  (Private OLOE, July 3, 2003)

The Pharisee took up his position and spoke this prayer to himself:

“O’ God, I thank you that I am not like the rest of humanity—

greedy, dishonest, adulterous, or even like this publican.”

(Lk 18:11)

“Many people will believe what they choose to believe, but Jesus will never abandon them.  I will never mislead anyone.  I will always direct them to my Son….I will do whatever He asks of me; and I will always pray for others and invite them, lead them and encourage them to follow my Son and to know that I speak His words because of the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.”  (Private OLOE, July 6, 2003What we have here is the sword that pierced my Heart, the sword that went through my Heart first, then through my Son’s, and then through yours.  It is the Covenant of the Two Hearts and the co-redeemers who join with me.”  (Private OLOE, Mar. 9, 2006)

“Here are my mother and my brothers.

For whoever does the Will of God is my brother and sister and mother.”

(Mk 3:34-35)

Who Benefits from the Covenant of the Two Hearts?

“Woman, behold your son”….And to the disciple, “Behold your mother.”

(Jn 19:26-27)

“All are welcome!  Many of those people who were initially against my most Immaculate Heart are now beginning to ponder whether their reaction was too quick, asking for God’s Mercy, especially if they are found to be in error; and that time will come!  Yet, all of you who have been dedicated to the Triumph of the Two Hearts, the Covenant of the Two Hearts, will be a tremendous Light and will lead victoriously those in tremendous need of healing.”  (Private OLOE, May 28, 2006)

“Everyone has a different opinion and version of how this will unfold.  The simplest and purest way is to be found at the core of your soul, in union with God, by following the directives of His most adorable Divine Will.”  (Private OLOE, May 28, 2006)  “Thank you, little ones, for trying to understand my words….With time you will come to understand them to know them, to live them, to breathe them and to taste them.  You will be all of what He is, because you are within my mantle and within the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.”    (Private OLOE, Apr. 15, 2006)

and giving us Your Mother on Calvary!

O Heart of Mary pierced by sorrow

and sharing in the sufferings of your Divine Son for our redemption!

O sacred union of these Two Hearts.

Praised Be God the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit.

Who united these Two Hearts together!

May He unite our hearts and every heart

so that all hearts may live in unity,

in imitation of that sacred unity which exists in these Two Hearts.

The Epilogue

To the Faithful Children

“For humans it is impossible, but not for God.

All things are possible for God.”

(Mk 10:27)

“Children, you have been wise, and you have worked fervently to outline the Truth of my words to the world.  You have been cautious and selective.  You have pondered and used prudence in a great many areas.  You have so delicately handled my gifts to you, and because of this, God will not let you down!”

“Remember, I told you:  If you believe with all your heart, it will happen.  But you must not doubt.  You must believe with all your heart, because nothing is impossible with God.  The evil one would like you to fill your mind with distrust, and He would like you to believe this is all fallacy.  But you control your heart; and in your heart, all you must do is believe and not doubt, knowing that in good time—God’s time—all fruition will come to the surface.”  (Private OLOE, Jan. 15, 2009)

To the Church Hierarchy

“But the hour is coming, and is now here,

when true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and Truth;

and indeed the Father seeks such people to worship Him.  God is Spirit,

and those who worship Him must worship in Spirit and Truth.”

 (Jn 4:23-24)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg shares her sorrow over what has been the response of her Church:

“I must tell you that my sorrow in what the Church has allowed to unfold here at the Center of my Immaculate Heart is only one that shall be turned against them for not responding to God, because God must remain faithful to Himself.  As He remains faithful in upholding the Truth, those who tried to belittle Him or tried to desecrate my most Immaculate Heart and His most Sacred Heart will have a price to pay.  Only God can judge what that punishment will be.  In the meantime, you must remain faithful servants as you have committed yourself devoutly to my most Immaculate Heart.”  (Private OLOE, June 29, 2003)

To the Prophet and to Those Who Listened

“Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place.”

(Lk 4:24)

To her prophets and to those who have listened, Our Lady provides her consolation:

“You have the prophets of the Old Testament.  You have the Prophet of the New Testament, my Son, and you have a new era.  Their pain and suffering is like receiving a gift; and for a prophet, as you unwrap it, you are so joyful.  However, when you open your gift, it is like a two-edged sword dissecting you from front to back; and there is no consolation because you never see what is in the package.  Not until God illuminates it in its fullness and grace, does the prophet receive the prophet’s reward.”

“Much is coming, children.  Without knowing the day nor the time, you are all part of it; and very important in every aspect.  Her role (Gianna’s) is the last, and you set the way.  How glorious can it be, a new tomorrow!”  (Private OLOE, Aug. 31, 2009)

Her Promise, Her Gratitude & Her Sorrow

“Behold, I am coming soon….

“Blessed are they who wash their robes

so as to have the right to the tree of life and enter the city through its gates.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the unchaste, the murderers,

the idol-worshipers, and all who love and practice deceit….

Come, let the one who thirsts come forward,

and the one who wants it receive the gift of life-giving water.”

(Rev. 22:12, 14-15, 17)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg speaks:

“Be not afraid, but be certain…. In this next phase it must be all for God, not half.  It is not for those who might come, but it can only be for those who choose freely and fully to come to God.  No one should risk his/her soul for another.  One can give his/her life for another, but never risk his/her soul.”  (Private OLOE, June 23, 2005)

“You will see!  You will see a new tomorrow, radiantly glorifying God.  How grateful I am that you said ‘yes’!” (Private OLOE, Dec. 30, 2006)  “I thank you and I bless you.  This is not just a place of my appearances, but this now is the making in history of the place where my Immaculate Heart resides, in the Sacred Heart of my Son, the Covenant of Our Two Hearts; and here at the Center, the Child, the Child Who in His purity gave His Heart, which became Sacred as Man, the Son of Man for all ages for all eternity.  My sorrow is for those who do not desire to receive what has been given to them, but my joy is for those who receive and generously continue to give and reap the full harvest of virtue and Truth.”  (Private OLOE, July, 14, 2003)

The Invitation

“O’ that today you would hear His voice:

Harden not your hearts as at Meribah,

as in the day of Massah in the desert.

There your fathers tempted me.

They tested me though they had seen my works.”

(Ps 95:7-9)

In His “Words” to the world through Gianna Sullivan, Our Heavenly Father extends His offer of Peace and His blessing to those who desire it and offers a call to live in Peace to the doubters:

“Come, all you, come to your Father Who desires you to receive Peace, serenity of soul and jubilation, and to bless your good works given to the Holy Trinity.  Blessings on those who hear My Word and keep it; and as an extension of My Son’s Most Sacred Heart, I am calling those in doubt to come, come and see, and live in Peace…

You can make a new tomorrow,

the option is yours!”

(GTF, July 8, 2007)

"Foolish the nation whose God is not their Lord!”

(Private OLOE, Jan. 4, 2010)

“What a foolish nation that would not prepare!"

(Private OLOE, Jan. 6, 2010)
