“…But the hour comes, and now is,

when the true adorers shall adore the Father in Spirit and in Truth.

For the Father also seeks such to adore Him….”

(Jn 4:23)

Catholic tradition and teaching most often refer to “prayer” as a lifting up of one’s spirit to God for the purpose of praise and adoration, thanksgiving, petition and/or reparation.  In this specific compilation of the spiritual gifts given to the world by God the Father, Our Lord Jesus Christ, and Our Lady of Emmitsburg through their messenger and prophet, Gianna Talone Sullivan, supplemented by the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the writings of the Saints, we hope to review and come to better understand the “Prayer of Adoration.”

In the online Modern Catholic Dictionary, the word “adoration” is defined as “the act of religion by which God is recognized as alone worthy of supreme honor because he is infinitely perfect, has supreme dominion over humans, and has the right to human total dependence on the Creator. It is at once an act of mind and will, expressing itself in appropriate prayers, postures of praise, and acts of reverence and sacrifice.”

God made it very clear to Moses when he was leading the Jews out of Egypt that the primary obligation of humanity towards its Creator was one of adoration.  The Catechism of the Catholic Church goes into considerable detail in explaining this in its discussion of the first of the Ten Commandments.

Part 4

A.  Honor, not Adore, His Mother

“…My soul doth magnify the Lord.

And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.

Because He hath regarded the humility of His handmaid;

for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

Because He that is mighty, hath done great things to me;

and holy is His Name.

(Lk 1: 46-49)

Catholic as well as Orthodox Christians have for centuries been criticized not only for their understanding of Our Lady’s role, but for their veneration and devotion to her.  It has been often expressed by Protestant Christians and others that too extreme an attention is paid to the Mother of Jesus, distracting from the true worship of God and even bordering on idolatry.  Moreover, Our Lady’s Immaculate Conception, the virgin Birth of Christ and her perpetual virginity, her relationship with both Jesus in the Covenant of the Two Hearts and with the Holy Spirit, and her position in salvation history as the Mediatrix, Co-Redemptrix, and Advocate for humanity, as well as her Assumption into Heaven and her Queenship of Heaven and Earth, the Angels and Saints, have all been challenged and even mocked by some critics.

Not only has the accusation toward many Catholics of idolatry in regards to  the person of Mary been made, but so too has that same accusation been made in regard to pictures and statues of not only Our Lady, but also the Church’s saints.  However, the Catechism of the Catholic Church makes clear its position regarding these articles of faith:

Catechism of the Catholic Church

2132  The Christian veneration of images is not contrary to the first commandment which proscribes idols. Indeed, the honor rendered to an image passes to its prototype,” and “whoever venerates an image venerates the person portrayed in it. The honor paid to sacred images is a “respectful veneration, not the adoration due to God alone:

Religious worship is not directed to images in themselves, considered as mere things, but under their distinctive aspect as images leading us on to God incarnate. The movement toward the image does not terminate in it as image, but tends toward that whose image it is….

Paragraph 6. Mary—Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church

963   Since the Virgin Mary’s role in the mystery of Christ and the Spirit has been treated, it is fitting now to consider her place in the mystery of the Church. The Virgin Mary... is acknowledged and honored as being truly the Mother of God and of the redeemer.... She is clearly the mother of the members of Christ... since she has by her charity joined in bringing about the birth of believers in the Church, who are members of its head.  “Mary, Mother of Christ, Mother of the Church.

I. Mary’s Motherhood with Regard to the Church

Wholly united with her Son...

964   Mary’s role in the Church is inseparable from her union with Christ and flows directly from it. This union of the mother with the Son in the work of salvation is made manifest from the time of Christ’s virginal conception up to his death; it is made manifest above all at the hour of his Passion:

Thus the Blessed Virgin advanced in her pilgrimage of faith, and faithfully persevered in her union with her Son unto the cross. There she stood, in keeping with the divine plan, enduring with her only begotten Son the intensity of his suffering, joining herself with his sacrifice in her mother’s heart, and lovingly consenting to the immolation of this victim, born of her: to be given, by the same Christ Jesus dying on the cross, as a mother to his disciple, with these words: “Woman, behold your son.”

965   After her Son’s Ascension, Mary aided the beginnings of the Church by her prayers. In her association with the apostles and several women, we also see Mary by her prayers imploring the gift of the Spirit, who had already overshadowed her in the Annunciation.

...also in her Assumption

966   Finally the Immaculate Virgin, preserved free from all stain of original sin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory, and exalted by the Lord as Queen over all things, so that she might be the more fully conformed to her Son, the Lord of lords and conqueror of sin and death. The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin is a singular participation in her Son’s Resurrection and an anticipation of the resurrection of other Christians:

In giving birth you kept your virginity; in your Dormition you did not leave the world, O Mother of God, but were joined to the source of Life. You conceived the living God and, by your prayers, will deliver our souls from death.

...she is our Mother in the order of grace

967   By her complete adherence to the Father’s will, to his Son’s redemptive work, and to every prompting of the Holy Spirit, the Virgin Mary is the Church’s model of faith and charity. Thus she is a “preeminent and... wholly unique member of the Church; indeed, she is the exemplary realization of the Church.

968   Her role in relation to the Church and to all humanity goes still further. In a wholly singular way she cooperated by her obedience, faith, hope, and burning charity in the Savior’s work of restoring supernatural life to souls. For this reason she is a mother to us in the order of grace.

969   This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterruptedly from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained without wavering beneath the cross, until the eternal fulfilment of all the elect. Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation.... Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix.

970   Mary’s function as mother of men in no way obscures or diminishes this unique mediation of Christ, but rather shows its power. But the Blessed Virgin’s salutary influence on men... flows forth from the superabundance of the merits of Christ, rests on his mediation, depends entirely on it, and draws all its power from it. No creature could ever be counted along with the Incarnate Word and Redeemer; but just as the priesthood of Christ is shared in various ways both by his ministers and the faithful, and as the one goodness of God is radiated in different ways among his creatures, so also the unique mediation of the Redeemer does not exclude but rather gives rise to a manifold cooperation which is but a sharing in this one source.

II. Devotion to the Blessed Virgin

971   “All generations will call me blessed”: “The Church’s devotion to the Blessed Virgin is intrinsic to Christian worship.”515 The Church rightly honors the Blessed Virgin with special devotion. From the most ancient times the Blessed Virgin has been honored with the title of ‘Mother of God,’ to whose protection the faithful fly in all their dangers and needs.... This very special devotion... differs essentially from the adoration which is given to the incarnate Word and equally to the Father and the Holy Spirit, and greatly fosters this adoration. The liturgical feasts dedicated to the Mother of God and Marian prayer, such as the rosary, an epitome of the whole Gospel, express this devotion to the Virgin Mary.

III. Mary—Eschatological Icon of the Church

972   After speaking of the Church, her origin, mission, and destiny, we can find no better way to conclude than by looking to Mary. In her we contemplate what the Church already is in her mystery on her own “pilgrimage of faith,” and what she will be in the homeland at the end of her journey. There, in the glory of the Most Holy and Undivided Trinity,” “in the communion of all the saints, the Church is awaited by the one she venerates as Mother of her Lord and as her own mother.

In the meantime the Mother of Jesus, in the glory which she possesses in body and soul in heaven, is the image and beginning of the Church as it is to be perfected in the world to come. Likewise she shines forth on earth, until the day of the Lord shall come, a sign of certain hope and comfort to the pilgrim People of God….

975      “We believe that the Holy Mother of God, the new Eve, Mother of the Church, continues in heaven to exercise her maternal role on behalf of the members of Christ.” (Paul VI, CPG § 15).

God the Father

The Lord God to the serpent:

"…I will put enmity between you and the woman,

and between your offspring and hers.

She will strike at your head,

while you strike at her heel…."

(Gen 3:15)

In 2006 in His monthly “Words” to the world, God the Father Himself, over a period of several months, paid great tribute to His pure and Immaculate daughter, Mary.  She is the Mother of His only begotten Son, who was created to bear His Immaculate God-Man, through the power of His Holy Spirit.  Our Heavenly Father graciously acknowledges her “fiat,” and He assures all of humanity of her role in their very salvation:

“…Without the tremendous gift of your Mother, you would be nothing!  Here she is, gathering her children continually, pleading on your behalf, and prodding for change.  Who could move the Throne of God if not her, who is so pure and Immaculate, so obedient and humble, so gentle and meek, and so filled with virtue and knowledge as to be called the Seat of Wisdom?  Who else but her could do this on your behalf?

“O' you children of humanity, regardless of your focus in chasing the truth in different religions, if you but knew to look to her,   you would then know that there in her Heart and protected within her womb, the Son of Man came into humanity maintaining His Divinity; and you would then live for this very moment….”  (GTF, Feb. 8, 2006)

“…Time was created so that all children would know the Truth and so that all children would know what was available to them to see, to live and to breathe.  Tremendous hardship unveiled; and as it unfolded, a most precious soul was created, a soul created Immaculate.  She was created from My Hand.  This soul's "fiat" came into the world, and she devoutly gave her undivided attention with songs of prayer and praise and joyous exclamation to "Abba", knowing that good fruit was about to unfold….

“…This woman deemed Immaculate and pure gave a "fiat" of her own free will to live for all people for one purpose, that being to present to the world the Truth of God.  Within her womb immaculately came the Truth….

“…As any little Child, He grew; and this Immaculate woman had to endure many sorrows, and yet many joys.  One of her greatest joys was that of having her husband beside her, joined in a family and rearing a Child in prayer and with Love.

“…Children of humanity, do you think you really know who she is?  Do you really believe that you know her as I do?  If you knew her, then My Church would know her; and yet, she is willing to die for you to save you, present you and protect you.  You may think you know a person.  You may read and learn about the history of a person.  What have you read about her?  Do you know her, or do you only know about her?  I know her as she knows you.  There is no other purer being, besides my Son, who loves you so unconditionally that she would give her life for you….”(GTF, March 8,2006)

“…Look at your Queen!  She is the Empress of the World!  There is no one as pure as she is pure.  She has a direct link to the Holy Trinity; and there she presents your petitions and pleads on your behalf.  O' it would be wise, children of humanity, to look to her and to invite and welcome her into your communities and into your homes.

“…There is no so august a Princess, most pure and elevated even higher than Esther, to the level of Empress.  As she desires and as she implores on your behalf for your salvation, so We listen and are moved.

“…What a foolish notion it would be to not give the proper reverence in due course to such a Queen!  Had it not been for this most beautiful and pure Empress, the Hand of your Almighty Creator would have dealt harsher blows.  She is the one who holds back the angels' wings through her purity, her innocence, and her unconditional Love for you….”  (GTF, April 8,2006)

“…I look down upon you in graciousness because of this great Queen, a most pure and holy servant of the Throne of God, Immaculate in all ways, who looks only to cleanse you, to purify you, and to bring you to the Throne.  Her cloak of humility is one that speaks volumes and volumes of Truth and enlightenment.  It tells the entire story, chapter by chapter, of your lives.

“Yet, here she is, so pure and humble.  It would behoove you to look with graciousness, humility and with all due respect to her in thanksgiving that she, through her "fiat", has been moved to graciously receive the Word of God in her womb.  The Son of Man came forth to suffer and to purify and to die for you because of Love.

“All has come because of her one "fiat".  All can join in this "fiat".  You can say "yes" as this pure virgin said "yes".  You are graced and can accomplish all that was offered to her through your free will….”  (GTF, May 8, 2006)

“…Look to your Mother, pure and Immaculate, wholesome, humble and most wise….She made the ultimate choice!  It was nothing other than to be in Union with My Will, to live, to breathe and to die for only one purpose.  For that purpose she is given the greatest and most holy title, Mother of God,’ even though she does not seek titles.  However, she is given it.  Look to her.  There you will find the entrance, the security, the protection, the wisdom and the treasure….”  (GTF, June 8,2006)

“…Come and know that now, more than ever before, there is much to gain in life, protection and the virtues of Love through My Son and through the spouse of the Holy Spirit, whom the Blessed Trinity has allowed to come. For you she pleads….”    (GTF, Aug. 8, 2008)

“…Do whatever He tells you…”

(Jn 2:5)

LESSONS from Our Lord to the World

It is hard for us to imagine the relationship that blossomed between Jesus and His Mother Mary, beginning with the Annunciation in Nazareth, to the Birth in Bethlehem, through the desert to Egypt, through His Childhood and young adulthood, His public life, and finally his Passion, Death and Resurrection.  No one could better share this experience and relationship than Our Lord Himself; and in several of His Lessons to the world, He does just that:

“My dear people, this day I, your Lord, wish to talk to you about My Most Blessed Mother. She is the Queen of Heaven. The angels prostrate themselves at her most holy feet, pleading with her to command them! She is the purity of My Heart.  Devotion to My Mother is having devotion to Me. I listen to her and grant her Heart's desire. Her prayer is pure. Her desire is for all to seek the Kingdom of God. Her desire is service to Me and My Father. We do not deny her. Pray to her.

“It is through My Mother that you are brought to Me. She purifies you and offers you to Me…She is the Queen who has remained silent at her request. Now it is time for you to know the importance of My Mother…Her prayer is so pure that We always grant her requests…

“….There is nothing I shall keep from her. I honor her. My Father honors her, and all the angels pray to her that she might graciously command them to work in her honor.

“Do not take lightly the holiness of My Mother, My Queen of My Kingdom. If you wish to dwell in My Kingdom, honor her and seek her purity, goodness, humility and meekness. I will not deny you if you do not deny My Mother. Her wish is to save you by purifying you and bringing you to Me.  Praying to her honors Me because, when you pray to her, you are praying to Me!...”   (JOM, Vol 1, #67, July 10, 1989, Blessed Mother)

“My dear little ones, I wish for all of My beloved people to know that as I came from the womb of My Mother, so did they!  Not only was I nourished in her womb, but My people were also nourished in her, for she is the "Mother of All Children."

“…She is the Mother of mankind, and We are one in each other.  If she shares in My glory, and I have said that My people will share in My glory, are you not sharing in her glory?...

“…My Mother is not slave to Me.  My saints are not slaves to Me.  They are One with Me, and My Kingdom is their kingdom!  They reign with Me, and all I have is theirs.  If I have given to them all of what I have said, and I have said that there is no favoritism, does that not mean that My Kingdom belongs also to you?…” (JOM, Vol II, #29, Dec. 23, 1989, Mother of All Children)

“My dear one, today I wish to speak of My Mother who, in her radiant Heart, brings My people to Me in purity…. She is My Mother Immaculate, born to give birth to Him Who was sent without sin for the salvation of mankind. She is Virgin conceived in purity. She represents hope to mankind. ….She is My Heart. She is all of Me. We are One in the same through the unity of the Holy Trinity….

“...All who wish for Me and My desires also give credit to My Mother, whether they are in belief that she is the ‘Mother of God’ or not! Those who wish for her and her desires also give credit to Me. I love her! My Mother is the Immaculate Virgin conceived without sin. Those who believe in her believe in Me. Those who trust in her, trust in Me. ….She is graced with virtues given by My Father. She sheds her mercy upon you in Me; and she, through her shining stars, passes on her virtues in My Name throughout the world. There is no one like her,…

“…I listen to her. I listen to those who listen to her. She is the silence of beauty who whispers in My ear your loving prayers. I whisper in your ear My Joy of her love.

“So, today, know that your Jesus celebrates God the Father’s master plan for salvation through the Immaculate Conception of My Mother, the one whom the evil ones flee from because of her purity and beauty….”    (JOM, Vol IV, #10, Dec. 8, 1991, Our Lady)

“A great sign appeared in the sky,

a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet,

and her head a crown of twelve stars…”

(Rev 12:1)

As so often is the case, Our Lady of Emmitsburg ends with a message of hope in the midst of prophesies of devastation.  She promises that the world will know of her presence both here, at the Center of her Immaculate Heart, and throughout the world.  Her Son will be adored as she be honored.  Then she affirms the need for our willingness of spirit, to the point of being prepared to die, so as to gain eternal life with our God:

“…I understand all of your hardships, your concerns and your frustrations.  My Son experienced all temptations. No one is exempt from temptations.  You can be  victorious as He was…I promise you that the day will come when you will know without doubt the validity and truth of my presence here with you, where the angels bow in adoration to my Son and honor the Queen, their Queen of Angels…”  (Private OLOE, Feb. 17, 2010)

“…Yes, time truly is of essence!...Move ahead.  Know that you are doing very well, most importantly through your prayer and adoration of Jesus.  No matter what happens, you have done well as humble servants.  What happens in the future can be most devastating, depending not only on free will, but on willingness of spirit.  When it comes to the time when many will not live—and only God knows who will and who will not—you must all be prepared to die.  But if you have that attitude that life really is death, then know that when death comes, life is gained….”  (Private OLOE, Oct. 25, 2008)

“…And as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all shall be made alive.

But every one in his own order:

the first fruits Christ, then they that are of Christ,

who have believed in His coming.

Then comes the end, when He shall have delivered up the Kingdom His God and  Father, when He shall have destroyed every principality, authority and power.

For He must reign, until He hath put all His enemies under His feet.

And the enemy death shall be destroyed last….”

 (1Cor 15:22-26)

B.  The Lack of Adoration

“…But he that shall
blaspheme against the Holy Ghost,

shall never have forgiveness,

but shall be guilty of an everlasting sin….”

(Mk 3:29)

Catechism of the Catholic Church

2118  God’s first commandment condemns the main sins of irreligion: tempting God, in words or deeds and sacrilege…:

2119  Tempting God consists in putting his goodness and almighty power to the test by word or deed. Thus Satan tried to induce Jesus to throw himself down from the Temple and, by this gesture, force God to act.  Jesus opposed Satan with the word of God: “You shall not put the LORD your God to the test.  The challenge contained in such tempting of God wounds the respect and trust we owe our Creator and Lord. It always harbors doubt about his love, his providence, and his power.

2120  Sacrilege consists in profaning or treating unworthily the sacraments and other liturgical actions, as well as persons, things, or places consecrated to God. Sacrilege is a grave sin especially when committed against the Eucharist, for in this sacrament the true Body of Christ is made substantially present for us.……

2123  Many... of our contemporaries either do not at all perceive, or explicitly reject, this intimate and vital bond of man to God. Atheism must therefore be regarded as one of the most serious problems of our time.

2124  The name “atheism” covers many very different phenomena. One common form is the practical materialism which restricts its needs and aspirations to space and time. Atheistic humanism falsely considers man to be an end to himself, and the sole maker, with supreme control, of his own history.   Another form of contemporary atheism looks for the liberation of man through economic and social liberation. “It holds that religion, of its very nature, thwarts such emancipation by raising man’s hopes in a future life, thus both deceiving him and discouraging him from working for a better form of life on earth.”60

2125  Since it rejects or denies the existence of God, atheism is a sin against the virtue of religion.61 The imputability of this offense can be significantly diminished in virtue of the intentions and the circumstances.  Believers can have more than a little to do with the rise of atheism. To the extent that they are careless about their instruction in the faith, or present its teaching falsely, or even fail in their religious, moral, or social life, they must be said to conceal rather than to reveal the true nature of God and of religion.

2126  Atheism is often based on a false conception of human autonomy, exaggerated to the point of refusing any dependence on God.  Yet, to acknowledge God is in no way to oppose the dignity of man, since such dignity is grounded and brought to perfection in God....

And the Lord said to Moses:

“How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my law?”

(Ex 16:28)

Jesus of Mercy

“…At that time there shall be no peace to him that goes out and comes in,

but terrors on every side among all the inhabitants of the earth….”

(2 Chron 15:5)

In His Lessons to the world, Our Lord shares that Peace, the true and lasting Peace that only God can give, will not occur in this world without obedience to God’s law and surrender to His Divine Will, nor without the praise and thanksgiving we owe our Creator.  And if humanity does not allow Our Lord to be a God of Mercy in dealing with our offences, we leave Him no choice other than to be a God of Justice:

“…Peace cannot exist unless there is love. How would you have Me respond to My people who continue to live in a most sinful state?  If they continue to transgress My obedience imposed on them, they will become My enemies instead of My peoples.  I redeemed My people through My Blood and restored the life of grace, but they are not grateful.  They are obliged to render Me praise and glory.  If they continue to deprive Me of glory and continue to claim their glory, the greater will be their offence.  For they are not allowing Me to be their God of Mercy….”  (JOM, Vol V, #8, Mar. 18, 1995, The Idolatry of Self)

‘…He that is not with me, is against me;

and he that gathers not with me, scatters….”

(Lk 11:23)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg

“…How narrow is the gate,

and straight is the way that leads to life:

and few there are that find it!...”

(Mt 7:14)

When we consider the billions of people who have lived on this earth, it is so dis-

heartening to hear Our Lady of Emmitsburg speak those words, “so few.”  It is so sad to realize that we live in a world that we can no longer consider “good,” that Divine Justice seems no longer able to be mitigated, but is now inevitable, and that no longer does there exist a period of grace, but rather a period of atonement, the likes of which the world has never seen.  Because of humanity’s lack of religion and lack of adoration, only God’s Divine intervention is left to change and reverse the course of salvation history.  And even with this drastic measure, there will still be some who cannot be saved:

“My little ones, God desires and hopes for so many people in the world to pray to Him, and He gives so many to the world as prophets, seers, teachers, priests, Bishops and Cardinals, as well as the secular laity, all devoted to God in His Holy and Divine Will, in order that they might lead the world.  You would think at this point in time that there would be many people praying, adoring and praising His Holy Name.  The fact is that there are few

“…The world is no longer good.  The world is existing only because God continues to allow it.  His Justice is inevitable.  His Mercy will continue to redeem those who are serious and authentic, those with contrite hearts, and those motivated to know the narrow path and to live it….

“…I’m afraid to tell you that we are entering a period no longer of grace, but a period where each person’s soul must account for itself.  And if you are not already united as a family, it will be most difficult to join.  Few will survive; and many, many will come to know the Truth and pay the price of atonement through God’s Mercy….”  (Private OLOE. Oct. 30, 2004)

“…There is confusion at so many different levels, and very many who desire not to pay attention to my words.  It is not an easy walk…, the direction that my Son and I desire you to go.  Be patient and persevere, for all good will come from this!...Imagine if there were one less than you, then there would be one less to glorify God and one more thorn in my heart for the lack of love and devotion and adoration and praise given to my Son….”  (Private OLOE, Nov. 16, 2006)

“…You had best think what will happen when you see your loved ones die.  If you’re with God, you are safe; but I can tell you that what is unfolding will result from a lack of religion and a lack of adoration.  There have been very, very many opportunities for the elite to actually gain control and govern the world, to allow Islamic rule and terror, and to eliminate Jesus.  They want to destroy all of history…

“…You may not see this now, but you will soon because it will affect you.  The only grace of hope is if God intervenes and all is destroyed except the small remnant He has chosen.  Otherwise, be prepared for tremendous hardships, sorrow, danger and threats to your life.  Those who know God and who love Him and who pray are safe; and they will be given the message of Wisdom.  Those who do not, you cannot save!...”  (Private OLOE, Jan 6, 2010)

“…You cannot drink the chalice of the Lord

and the chalice of devils.

You cannot be partakers of the table of the Lord,

and of the table of devils….”

(1 Cor 10:21)

It is difficult to appreciate, especially with only our human knowledge and experience, the Love God has for us and the pain and suffering Our Lord and Our Lady must experience when they see so many who do not want to know God, who do not want to pray, who feel no dependence on God.  For a mother to know in advance, that many of her children will be falling off a cliff into an eternal darkness, is a crushing cross to carry for centuries.  For Our Lord to know, that so many for whom He was tortured and murdered, are indifferent or even dismissive of His efforts, must cause Him an unfathomable sorrow.  Yet, so little of what they endured for humanity gets the attention of humanity, let alone its respect and love.

“…And sighing deeply in spirit, He said:

‘Why doth this generation seek a sign?

Amen, I say to you,

a sign shall not be given to this generation’….”

(Mk 8:12)

“…I thank you for coming and praying with me to God the Father.  I have been coming a long time.  I have desired all my children to praise God; and yet, there are only a few who continue to be faithful.  They come day after day desiring to receive God’s grace.  Yes, through the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist, and then in this most precious moment where so many people could receive graces from Heaven immediately (during her apparition).  Here I am confined….

“…Why do our children not want to pray?…The world does not want to know God, and so children grow up and even when they are grown up, they don’t want people to know where their heart lies.  They are afraid to let them know that the treasure rests in God….Why cannot here people adore God?  Why must it be at another place?  Foolish the nation whose God is not their lord!

“….Think how wonderful it is to be a few, but strong in God’s Love who believe.  I was not a few, I was one who believed; and look what unfolded.  If you believe, what more graces and blessings can unfold….”  (Private OLOE, Jan 4, 2010)

“…I am not certain you know the depth and the breadth and the conviction of my words.  I shall pray for you and ask God to enlighten you as to what may unfold from a lack of response and what could unfold from a joining together in unity and prayer….”   (Private OLOE, Mar. 19, 2004)

“…Thou hast given a warning to them that fear thee:

that they may flee from before the bow:

That thy beloved may be delivered….”

(Ps 59:60, DRB)

“…I need you.  I am not leaving here; and I am confident that my Son will do all with me that He has promised here at the Center of my Immaculate Heart, and that the world will come to know the great gift that resides here.  Blessed be His Holy Name!”  (Private OLOE Oct 30, 2004)

Adoration Prayer by King David

(A Prayer of Praise to God)

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power,

the glory, the victory and the majesty.

Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord,

and this is your kingdom.

We adore you as the one who is over all things.

Wealth and honor come from you alone,

for you rule over everything.

Power and might are in your hand,

and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.

(1 Chron 29: 11-12)

The Prayer of Adoration

The End

“…Saying with a loud voice:

‘Fear the Lord, and give Him honor,

because the hour of His judgment is come;

and adore Him that made heaven and earth,

the sea, and the fountains of waters….’”
