Our souls are first conceived in the Mind and Heart of the Father in eternity, then conceived in body and instilled with a soul through human participation, both naturally and artificially.  We are born from, or our life is cut short in, the womb.  We live a few minutes, days, years or decades, and then die.  We experience both consolation and suffering during life until death. Then we move on into eternity, eternal bliss with God or eternal damnation without God in Hell.  Little did so many of us know that we had from birth been placed in the center of an all-out war for the very life of our souls, a war between good and evil, a war between God and Satan.  And the measure of victory is not in our fame or fortune, our accomplishments or failures, but in our love!  How have we loved?  Has love been victorious in our lives and deaths?

If that be the case, then what is love—Christian love?

According to the Modern Catholic Dictionary we understand love in this way:

“The law of selfless love, which Christ said was a new commandment, by which those who are truly Christian would be recognized. He told his followers, ‘Love one another as I have loved you’ (John 5:12). This law is new because commanded by God himself in human form; because it is to be a mutual love, given and received, as the foundation of a new reality, i.e., the Christian community, and because its norm or measure is essentially higher than self-love (Leviticus 19:18), since it is to be patterned after the manner that Christ, who is God, loved the human race even to dying for his enemies. In practice, this means that we are to love by wishing only well to one another, by praying for one another, and by never thinking, saying, or doing anything to injure one another.”    (Online Catholic Dictionary, Fr. John Hardon, S.J.)

In the Words of God the Father given to the world through Gianna Sullivan, Our Almighty Creator puts His Own Love, salvation history, the war between good and evil, and the nature of the true victory in perspective:

“…Is it not now like it was back in the ages of Babylon, with the fighting between sons of Ishmael and Isaac?  The division is tremendous, but My Love is awesome and has been procured for all the people of the world….

…You, children of Abraham, be not foolish!  Do you not see the Truth of your God at hand?  Evil begets evil, and Love conquers all!  No treaty or bartering tool can ever be exchanged for my Most Merciful Love, which will bring you all together to the One True God.  There is no victory in death caused by human hands.  The only victory in death is that which rests in the Triune God!”  (GTF, Oct 8, 2006)

O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting?

(1 Cor 15:55)

Evil, Part 8B:  The Victory over Evil

1. Freedom
2. Peace
3. Victory

1. Freedom

“…But now that you have been freed from sin and have become slaves of God,

the benefit that you have leads to sanctification, and its end is eternal life….”

(Rom 6:22)

Let us use as our definition of “freedom” the one put forth in the 2004 document of Our Lady’s Peace Plan.  True freedom” is the power to do what is morally right according to God’s Will.  Any other understanding of freedom would only dilute its true meaning and make it impossible for us to be enveloped in the Holy Trinity.  In His Words to the world, God the Father speaks to humanity about that day when we come face to face with our Creator, stripped of all the world had to offer and fully aware of our nothingness:

“…There is no foretelling humanity who will be welcomed into My Kingdom.  It depends on your life and how you now live it….On that awesome day when you bear nothing, who will be around you?  It is best to find within your heart the true treasure, that being God your Father….For if all your preparations are stripped from you, then what do you have left, but nothing?  For it is only within your heart that you will find what shall sustain you—that being the true and glorious wonder of God!  How secure you can be at one moment; and then have your ‘freedom’—which you call it—be stripped from you, or at least threatened.  But true freedom is found only in those who are enveloped in the Holy Trinity….”  (GTF Sept. 8, 2006)

The Ten Commandments, the Decalogue, on which the principles of Judeo-Christian morality and true life with God are based, have far too often, and most superficially, been treated as a series of restrictive “thou shall nots” which limit personal happiness, pleasure and success, rather than the God-given most direct way to attain true happiness, pleasure and eternal salvation.  Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Lessons to the world makes it quite clear that true freedom cannot be found anywhere or with anyone except in total dependence on Him and acceptance of His Will; and He encourages humanity to trust that whatever unfolds in our lives leads to that end, a state of holiness and true freedom:

“…I came to render man free and died because of the Truth of My Father, granting true freedom and redemption for all of mankind….The only Way to My Father is His Way!...”(JOM, Vol III, #21, Jan. 9, 1991, Church)

“…Do not focus on your sinfulness or the wretched state of your soul, but focus, instead, on the Mercy of God….You are powerless without Me, and you are everything in Me….Empty yourself at the Foot of the Cross, and you shall live and be made whole….Your soul’s state of independence is not freedom.  Freedom only exists in total dependence on Me…..This freedom exists through discipline and obedience, obedience not to yourself, but to Me….Seek freedom through self-denial….It can only be done through Me.  It is the only Way!  I am the Way!”  (JOM, Vol IV, #27, July 8, 1992, True Freedom)

“…You do not understand that which is Divine, and there fore cannot comprehend the depth and breadth of My Presence at your side at all times.  Place your confidence in Me.  This is your choice in selecting which pathway to walk.  Choose the path of faith, trust and confidence.  This path is the pathway to freedom.  My path is not narrow except for those who through their desire to control and their fear have placed their own limitations and restrictions which narrow the dimensions of My path….”  (JOM, Vol V, #5, Jan. 27, 1995, My Path to Freedom)

Ultimate freedom results from total acceptance of God’s Will!  The Will of My Father can be discerned through love, compassion and openness to others’ needs.  Freedom is a result of unity in the Holy Trinity and is a state of holiness.  If you desire to be free, begin to be compassionate.  Learn what compassion is and how to simply and openly be compassionate….”(JOM, Vol III, #19, Dec. 17, 1990, Love and Compassion)

“…Never lose sight of the fact that I am always with you….I am a loving God….Nothing unfolds unless it is allowed by My Father.  Therefore, confidence in Him will secure your safety and position in His Kingdom.  Trust that what unfolds in your life is to release you from the chains of this world and to gain for you true freedom and joy….Be filled with hope and anticipation of the freedom and joy to come….”  (JOM, Vol V, #26, Oct. 27, 1995, My Hands of Love, Safety and Protection)

“…Suddenly an angel of the Lord…awakened him saying,

‘Get up quickly.’

The chains fell from his wrists….”

(Acts 12:7)

OLOE and Freedom
”…But even if you should suffer because of righteousness, blessed are you.  Do not be afraid or terrified with fear of them,

but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts….”

(1 Pet 3:14-15)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg relates that it is human fear that is an obstacle for many to experience true freedom. Evil feeds off human fear, especially the fear of suffering; and it can only be defeated through constant prayer, love and faith in God.  True humility is the sword by which evil can be slain; however, it takes time to change and patient trust in God’s Plan to bring about those changes in each of us:

“…Look not at a future of desolation and fear which is sure to happen to those who choose not to be free.  Look to a future, pure and free within the Truth of Almighty God.  Evil may seem to be in place to deceive you and to draw you away; but only limitedly will that be allowed, because God Almighty will not permit any soul who seeks the Truth to be turned away.  Beware of those who fear not God but humans, because of their own need to seek a more prestigious role in humanity.  Look to those who pray and who genuinely desire to be humble and to know the Truth….”    (Private OLOE, Mar 19, 2004)

“Little ones, the magnitude of God’s Love for you is immeasurable.  He gives you the freedom to choose and awaits your love.  There is tremendous hope for tomorrow.  My army of love is increasing….I warn you with words from Heaven and challenge you in order that your souls will be enlightened with God’s Truth.  It is only through the grace of prayer that you will be able to discern what is good and what is evil….Know the Truth of God’s words which I have shared with you, and live His message of Love….”  (Public OLOE, May 30, 1996)

”…Fear none of those things which thou shall suffer.

Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison that you may be tried:

and you shall have tribulation….

Be thou faithful until death:

and I will give thee the crown of life….”

(Rev 2:10)

“   There is tremendous freedom in suffering when it is received in the spirit of love and joined to the suffering of my Son.  Have you ever wondered why Jesus had to suffer to be the Savior of the world?  It was the way to confound the proud and triumph over evil.  Evil planned to make a mockery of God through the world’s vision that the Messiah would come as a powerful ruler, glorious and righteous.  Your Messiah is powerful, glorious and righteous; and He is also humble.  Humility is a trait evil cannot portray in any way.  Jesus came into the world with the swords of humility and love to slay evil.  He humbled Himself unto death in holy sacrifice and endured your sufferings so that you could live in His Truth and be free.  Little children, the evil one would like you to fear suffering.  He does not want you to humble yourself, to join your sufferings to Jesus.  He does not want you to know how free you are in God’s protective shield of suffering with Him.  He would like you to seek all ways to avoid suffering.  Do not be afraid if you experience suffering.  It slays the works of evil, confounds the proud, and grants you a redemptive crown of glory….Through your humility you will become powerful and share in God’s glory….”  (Public OLOE, Feb. 25, 1999)

“…If you love Jesus, then imitate Jesus….Make His Spirit of Peace, love, charity, obedience, humility and self-denial your own….You need time to change, and there are few who are utilizing this time of Mercy by responding to God’s call.  There are currently subtle evil forces in your midst which can only be recognized and fought victoriously through constant prayer, love and faith in God….Only those who are steadfast in faith will be able to patiently endure the many hardships in the Peace of God’s Love…. I come to you inviting you to return to God….In Him rests true freedom….”  (Public OLOE, Aug. 24, 1995)

“…We must all pray and work together in unity to be like Jesus….For once you know the Truth, you cannot walk away.  You must walk the Way of my Son.  It is the only Way to true freedom, peace and happiness….This is now a call to action, the totus tuus to God the Father….”  (Public OLOE, Sept 3, 2006)

”…For you were heretofore darkness, but now light in the Lord.

Walk then as children of the light….”

(Eph 5:8)

2. Peace
”…For the peace of God is over all the face of the earth….”

(Sir 38:8)

In Fr. John Hardon’s Modern Catholic Dictionary, “internal peace” is defined as:

The quiet of soul in the absence of conflict.  It is the experience of agreement between faith and reason, hope and attainment, conscience and conduct, one’s own desires and those of another, and especially the sense of agreement between one’s own will and the known will of God.  (Modern Catholic Dictionary, Fr. John Hardon. S.J.)

In His Lessons to the world, Our Lord personifies Peace in Himself and describes it as our freedom which brings us true discernment and Divine protection.  Without His Peace, our knowledge and understanding of His Will may be contaminated and distorted by the evil one, but living in His Peace will bring only goodness in spite of the attempts of the evil one:

“…Know that I am true Peace….My Peace results in a state of being which justifies you…. Silence is your shield and Love is your weapon against all who persecute you….”  (JOM, Vol III, #6, June 13, 1990, I am He Who Teaches)

“…I tell My people that in order to achieve My Peace, they must seek Me and My Kingdom….Seek Me by focusing on Me in everything you do.  By focusing on Me, I can give you My Peace, because I am able to dwell in you , as we become One with each other…. Remember, it is not only achieving Peace by seeking Me, but you must also accept My Peace!...

“…My Peace is your freedom.  My Peace allows you to live in this world until you see Me face to face.  I promise you that all who desire Me, trust in Me and completely focus on Me, shall be guaranteed everlasting life for all eternity with Me….”  (JOM, Vol 1, #82, Sept. 8, 1989, More on Peace)

“…Living My Way is knowing Me.  Accepting with joy all that is sent you is accepting the Will of My Father.  If you live in Me, you will live in My Peace….My Peace brings discernment and Divine Protection….The evil one can irritate you and attempt to confuse you from knowing My Will; but if you accept it with peace, then only goodness will result and His Will be done!...Peace is the key to knowing the Will of God….Evil cannot live in Peace because evil does not know Peace!”    (JOM, Vol II, #44, Feb. 10, 1990, Will of God)

“… Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
but those who plan peace have joy….”

(Prov 12:20)

Far too often, what we as human beings believe to be “peace” is truly a false sense of peace.  It is not the Peace of God, which must be given to us.  His Peace is not free from suffering, and it does require patience through periods of inner conflict and self-contempt as well as through the trials and tribulations involved in enduring offenses of those who might desire to harm us:

“…I have told My people, ‘My Peace I give you, not as the world gives peace, but as I give to you.’  Do not mix the peace of the world with the Peace of God….In your journey with Me, do not think that you will not be troubled or burdened with interior suffering or external suffering, for this is the way of the world in which you live.  Do not think that if you suffer, you cannot have My Peace….Do not think that if your devotion and prayer are of sweetness, you are an especially beloved one, for this is not the case with My true disciples who are rich in My virtue….There is little progress for the man who thinks he is walking in perfection.  Therefore, do not think you have gained true peace if you feel no adversity….My Peace is not the peace the nature of man knows!...

“…Peace is patience, and this will be with you as you follow My ways and as you deny yourself….Know that this Peace can dwell in you in the midst of all your sufferings and burdens, not only your joys. …All My true lovers of virtue experience Peace through the progress of inner conflict and self-contempt, instead of self-perfection.…”  (JOM, Vol III, #23. Mar. 25, 1991, Peace)

“…I wish for My people to bear their tribulations with patience.  Bear the offenses against you for God’s sake, your neighbor’s sake and the sake of yourself.  Whatever good or evil you do, you do for or against yourself!  Have compassion on those who do evil against you….Offer it to God,…pray for them, have compassion and try to help them….If someone offends you, bear it patiently for the love of God and in remission of your sins.  Do not offend anyone!...Those who bear their tribulations with patience always keep their sins before their eyes, and therefore, are not weakened.  It is a great virtue to overcome yourself….If you overcome yourself, you will be able to overcome your enemies.  Just as good can be twisted into evil, evil can be turned into something good!.... “  (JOM, Vol IV, #18, May 17, 1992, More on Patience)

“…How I long for My people to come before Me and to talk to Me sincerely about all their joy, their sorrow, their frustrations and the every day events in their lives….When they are in pain, they even ask others to pray for them, instead of trusting in Me and praying to Me themselves….Why is it so difficult for My people to decide to follow Me?  There is truly a lack of desire and discipline which hinders their growth….I have said over and over that My Kingdom is near!  Will it come peacefully or because of the destruction of man from his lack of respect and dignity?...I shall always defend you in your honesty and simpleness.  Remember, silence is your protection against evil people, and love is your sword of victory….”  (JOM, Vol III. #1, May 2, 1990, Follow Me)

 “…Upon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully;

from Him is my salvation….”

(Ps 62:11)

We live in a world where success is measured by worldly power, prestige, wealth and possessions and the illusion of independence, both from God and even our fellow man; however, Our Lord in His Lessons points to our powerlessness, helplessness and total dependence on Him as the true measures of our peace, joy and total happiness.  The Cross is no longer seen as essential to our true peace and freedom by so much of humanity; and yet, we are assured by Our Lord that it only takes a few, devoted to the Truth,  to change the world by achieving His Peace and then sharing it with others:

“…The time will come when My people will know that the truth is that they are powerless without Me, and it is I Who gives to them everything, even allowing their control.  They will soon realize that they themselves are completely helpless by their own merits.  They will realize that by surrendering and allowing Me to care for them as their spouse, that their fear, turmoil and suffering will end in true peace and joy and total happiness….”  (JOM, Vol IV, #16, Mar. 21, 1992, For All Eternity)

“…He, who has a clear conscience, will be content and at peace with himself.  My Father sees what is within.  Man looks upon the actions and speech of men, but it is I Who weighs the intentions of the heart….True Peace and joy can be sustained in Me, and I rest in the humble, pure and clean hearts.  A clean conscience is one which examines itself continuously to wash, to sift and to rinse and clean for a resting place for its Master.  This means that great tranquility of heart will not seek affection of man’s praises or dispraises, but will look to God for His Face to behold….”  (JOM, Vol IV, #21, June 28, 1992, A Clean Conscience)

“…My blessing of Peace is for all who desire it….My Peace is for all who experience love, joy and pain or sorrow….My Peace is unending and it is abiding in the grace of My Love.  Many of My beloved people are suffering on the Cross, yet they know the Cross is their sanctification, which glorifies the Father; and therefore, they accept the Will of God and possess great Peace.  Much of the world today does not desire sanctification through the means of My Cross….They desire to be free from the Cross, and they desire a foreign god.  These are My people who no longer desire Me to be their God….The only boundary will be what My people place before Me and their own selves.  I will never change, and I will continue to wait for all to come to Me….It only takes a few to change the world, a few people who are committed and devoted to the Truth at all costs….”  (JOM, Vol V, #22, Oct. 5, 1995, My Blessing of Peace)

“…It is only when My people can achieve their own peace will they be able to pass on My Peace to others….You must first seek peace for yourself.  Abandon and surrender unto Me….What is Peace?  It is the reflection of My goodness, without the assistance of words.  It is a state of being, My state of being….If you live in My Peace, no evil can harm you, no evil can deceive you.  Peace lights the darkness….Seek the virtues of Me, and you shall receive.  Seek Me honestly.  Seek Me sincerely, and Peace shall be yours!”  (JOM, Vol I, #81, Aug. 31, 1989, Peace)

“…Peace I leave with you; My Peace I give to you.

I do not give to you as the world gives.

Do not let your hearts be troubled,

and do not let them be afraid….”

(Jn 14:27)

OLOE and Peace

“…Glory to God in the highest; and on earth peace to men of good will.…

The shepherds said one to another, ‘Let us go over to Bethlehem,’

And they came with haste;

…and they found Mary and Joseph, and the infant lying in the manger….”

(Lk 2:14-15)

It would seem that the false peace about which we hear so much, not only in the world and in our personal lives, but even in the Church, is most often not one in which God’s Love and Mercy are at the center.  It is for this reason that Our Lady has spoken so long about the intervention of the Father to attain this true and lasting Peace—an intervention in which God’s Divine Justice will unfold:

“…Few people house true Peace of Jesus and tranquility of heart.  Jesus desires peace of mind, heart and soul for all peoples of every nation, of every race and of every religion.  Unless Mercy and Love are at the center of your incentives and actions, Peace cannot dwell in your hearts….”  (Public OLOE, Aug. 20, 1998)

“…Pray for Peace, little ones, because there is tremendous desire on every level for power.  The subtlety of evil has infiltrated the world through trickery, deceitfulness, anger, malice and control.  A forced peace is not lasting.  A binding contract is only temporary.  Peace must come from the heart. It can only come from God.  If people walk away from God, they will not know true Peace….”  (Public OLOE, July 15, 1999)

“   God the Father knows exactly how to intervene in His most perfect Plan so that peace can reign and evil be slain. As the angels bow toward your Mother in the heavenly court, so too will mankind.  No human can see the Father face to face and live.  When you meet your creator, each of you will have to atone for all of your sins; for He is Just, and His Divine Justice will unfold….”  (Private OLOE, June 24, 2006)

“…When justice is done, it is a joy to the righteous,

but dismay to evil doers….”

(Prov 21:15)

OLOE and Suffering

“…Therefore, let those suffering in accordance with God’s will

entrust themselves to a faithful Creator,

while continuing to do good….”

(1 Pet 4:19)

To most of us, the thought of enduring our own pain, unpleasantness, injury, grief, or even certain changes in our lives are not the thoughts we anticipate with joyful anticipation.  Yet, in our walk with Our Lord, there is no end run around the Cross—the suffering we must join to His to attain eternal salvation.  However, this is what is asked of us, what is expected of us, and what is even required of us during this life on earth.  Moreover, we are promised that however lonely this journey may be, we are not alone, but accompanied by our Lord and Savior.  To approach suffering with any sense of sweetness will take great faith and trust—both of which only God can provide:

“…It seems that you rejoice when you hear words which are pleasing to your personal wishes, desires and needs.  But when you hear words which challenge you to change, you question the meaning behind them or assume they do not apply to you.  All of the messages granted to you from Heaven are for one purpose, to bring you back to my Son….There are many people who refuse to change and know God’s Truth.  There are many people who insist on changing God’s words to support their own lifestyles.  There are even people who feel they will be exempt from the consequences to be afflicted on this world from the lack of love and mercy.  No one will be exempt from suffering, even if they truly desire to be with Jesus, because this is the Way of the Cross.  However, those who persevere in their suffering will be with Him forever….”  (Public OLOE, June 19, 1997)

“…If you are given crosses to bear, there are more graces which God has planned for you….Unite your suffering to Jesus’ and offer in love all up to Him.  The sweetness of your sacrifice in love and self-abandonment conquers forces of evil….Do not lose peace of heart when trials or discomforts befall you,…but rejoice in Jesus because His Plan for you is great.  Have recourse to Him because in Him rests true Peace and tranquility….”  (Public OLOE, Nov. 9, 1995)

“…God is with you in your trials….All those who follow Jesus have their Cross and will end in the same fate as He.  The world may scorn against deeds, duties and practices you accomplish in hiddenness.  They may mock you because you do not make evident your virtues or win their honor or esteem….Seek God’s approval only….The honor you seek should not be from man.  Those who walk in this world’s certainty are not walking in the certainty of God’s Truth….”  (Public OLOE, Dec. 7, 1995)

“…I am now rejoicing in my sufferings for your sake,

and in my flesh I am completing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions

for the sake of His Body, that is, the Church….”

(Col 1:24)

The Threat to Peace

“…Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
but those who plan peace have joy….”

(Prov 12:20)

We can be sure that the evil one will throw every obstacle in our path to the Peace about which Our Lord and Our Lady have spoken.  Our Lady of Emmitsburg warns that we must also always be on guard against any false sense of security except for the security we can find in the Truth of God’s Word and in the sacramental life of His Church:

“…Any opportunity that the devil wishes to take to impose himself upon you, He will do it in your weakest moments.  You must be prepared not to allow that.  Yes, you can grieve and you can sing and dance, you can be happy and you can be sorrowful, you can be joyful and you can cry; but never allow the chamber of your heart, where your treasure lies, to be open to any spirit that would drive away your peace….”  (Private OLOE. Jan. 1, 2010)

“…The time of Joy is to be had; but where there is Peace, not far behind are those who desire to destroy it and cause chaos, and who would even like to see you completely disarmed and vulnerable to death, the death of evil, not of Good.  (So) surround yourselves and clothe yourselves with this purity and innocence; and know that if you walk with God, He walks with you, and you will never be alone….”  (Public OLOE, Jan. 7, 2007)

“…Until there is true Peace, real lasting Peace, do not for one instant think you have gained it, because the true lasting Peace can only be given from above.  My Son’s Peace works through people who are open to accepting other people without feeling invaded.  Whether little or great, all people are children of God; and all people desire to be loved and to be accepted.  Unity begins at home within the family and within the community, and then it spreads throughout the country and to other nations….”  (Public OLOE, Apr. 12, 2003)

“Little children, if people loved the Word of My Son in the gospel, there would be no need of my visitation.  It is because there is a large percentage of the world who are indifferent to His Truth that I come to plead and invite all to return to Him.  There are so many deceptions and demoralizing issues which have infected the world.  Many people don’t know what is God’s Truth.  Unless people become centered on Jesus in prayer, His True Presence in the Eucharist, and unless they live a sacramental life, His Truth will only continue to be diluted by the pollution of sin and fear will become the end product….”   (Public OLOE, Oct. 28, 1999)

Moses said to the people,

“Don’t be afraid, because God has come only to test you

and to make sure you are always in awe of God

so that you don’t sin….”

(Ex 20:20)

The Road to Peace

“…Because of our God’s tender mercy,
the dawn will break upon us from on high
to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

(Lk 1:78-80)

Even though Our Lord gave His Life for the salvation of all of humanity, our own prayer, penance and fasting are needed, not only in reparation for our own sins, but for the reparation and salvation of all our brothers and sisters.  Without our participation in their salvation, it could be too late for many, or even most of them.  And much to the amazement of the faithful, Our Lady of Emmitsburg promises us that in this world of 7 billion children of God, it only takes a few who live and love unconditionally to bring about the peaceful world that God created and so desires:

“…My Son gave His Life to save you and all of mankind.  Unless prayer, penance and fasting are done in reparation for the many outrages against His Most Sacred Heart, this world will suffer tremendously from its lack of gratitude, its pompous righteousness and lack of mercy.  People who are not interested in hearing the words of Mercy and Love now, will crave to hear them later; but will not, because it will be too late…..The hour glass is no longer half full.  God will not allow His children to suffer much longer at the hands of the evil one.  My Son is returning, and His angels will soon be released to gather His faithful to safety and to destroy evil so that Peace will reign once again….”  (Public OLOE, June 12, 1997)

“…For true Peace and unity to exist, Love must be at the center, at the beginning and at the end.  No matter what your difference, your imperfections or your afflictions, Love conquers all!  In the beauty of ‘littleness’ is the tremendous gift of this Love.  It is like children, totally dependent, but sorrowful when they do not receive love, and totally dependent but most comforted when they do receive love….”   (Public OLOE, Oct. 1, 2006)

“…All humanity will come to know the Truth in the future, in this new age, this  age of peace to unfold after the time when the evil will be weeded out.  All will know historically of the few who have committed their lives in trusting, hoping and giving of themselves totally, unconditionally and patiently, awaiting in all humility for God’s Hand and works to unfold so that all the world may live in Peace….”    (Private OLOE, June 13, 2007)

“…For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,

but in order that the world might be saved through Him….”

(Jn 3:17)

3. Victory
”…And when this mortal hath put on immortality,

then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

Death is swallowed up in victory….”

(2 Cor 15:54)

The term “victory” denotes a winning of a war, struggle or competition, especially the final defeat of an enemy or opponent.  Synonyms of “conquest” connote a subduing, subjugating or achieving control over one’s opponent; and “triumph” denotes an especially noteworthy victory because its decisive, significant or spectacular nature, such as the eventual triumph of good over evil.  (American Heritage Dictionary, Houghton Mifflin Co., 2009)

The victory, conquest or triumph about which we are discussing, however, is not a brutal fight in which the most powerful or clever crush the weaker or more foolish by means of inflicting pain, suffering and loss.  In fact, it is just the opposite, and most beautifully described by Our Lord Himself in His Lessons to the world:

“…I am here to tell you, My people, that you can prevent the works of the evil one and destroy him now by loving.  I am here to tell you, My people, that so much good and beauty can be restored through prayer.  I am here to tell you, My people that wars can be prevented through prayer.  Freedom and peace can be through prayer!...You do not realize how much power you have through Me!....These are not words of hopelessness, but words of victory and peace!...Anything is possible through love, anything and everything….”  (JOM, Vol I, #55, June 5, 1989, Chastisement)

“…I am here to bring Peace; but in order for Peace to reign, there will be separation….The battle between good and evil will commence.  The men of good shall break off from the men of evil.  The men of evil judgment shall celebrate in the victory of battle; but I tell you, their celebration will be premature….The men of God shall reign forever and win in victory for all eternity; and Peace shall be their flag….”  (JOM, Vol II, #15, Oct. 28, 1989, The Presence of Jesus)

“…I wish for my people to realize that they are powerless when they desire to control.  They are only powerful in Me….My journey for those who truly give to Me all of themselves results in their victory.  My journey is not victory over others, but is victory over yourself, victory in receiving eternal bliss…Only those who give totally, sincerely, openly, devoutly and honestly of themselves by allowing Me to guide them, will achieve such a bliss….”  (JOM, Vol III, #16, Oct. 25, 1990, Spiritual Maturity)

“….Good will always prevail and love will always be victorious for all who pray, hope and work for tomorrow.  Peace in your duties and faithfulness to your responsibilities will ensure victory in My Love….Change takes time.  Gentleness is what is needed to meet the challenges of the new dawn….”  (JOM, Vol V, #14, Aug. 1, 1995, The New Dawn of My Light)

“…If you give to Me all of yourself, you would take little interest in devastations to come, but would instead, submit to everything and leave all to me!...I do not want My people to fear…Teach all My people…Every step all God’s people take under My command is victory….”  (JOM, Vol IV, #87, Aug. 31, 1992, Submit)

Your people did not conquer the land with their swords;
    they did not win it by their own power;
it was by your power and your strength,
by the assurance of your presence,
which showed that you loved them.”

(Ps 44:3)

OLOE and Victory

And Mary said:

“My soul doth magnify the Lord. And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour….

Because He that is mighty, hath done great things to me; and holy is His Name.

And His mercy is from generation unto generations, to them that fear Him….”

(Lk 1:46-47,49-50)

“…My Son on your behalf lived a difficult life and accepted the contempt of the world, the cruelty with which He was treated and all persecution for the salvation of the world…and for love of you.  Now I invite you to defend His ways and to glorify Him through love and prayer.  I invite you to be servants of God for victory and freedom….”  (Public OLOE, April 27, 1995)

“…Do not remain stubborn in your designs of life.  God desires to protect you and lead you to victory during these days where evil is corrupting much of the world….Be ready and willing to lose every possession except His grace rather than to commit sin by accepting evil.  It is most necessary that you master your passions now and only love what God loves.  Abandon yourself to Jesus.  Trust in His guidance…. God has blessed the path each person must take to be holy.  You cannot be sanctified if you attempt to choose to travel a different path.  This path calls you to love….Love will strip your soul of its material cover and liberate you in God’s freedom….”   (Public OLOE, Oct. 5, 1995)

“…Don’t be afraid, because I am with you.
Don’t be intimidated; I am your God.
    I will strengthen you.
    I will help you.
I will support you with my victorious right hand….”

(Is 41:10)

“Dear little ones, there is tremendous evil in this world, but God shall be victorious because He is your salvific Savior….Be at peace and know that I am with you and that I am protecting you, and that He is with you and that He is protecting you.  Know that I am among you, praying with you….Know that I need you to join in unity for there is surely a battle among all the people of this world, not only those of human nature, but also those spiritual, a battle of good and evil….Do not forget that there are among you angels who will protect and guide you, but you must be many times mouthpieces for God to protect the faithful….”  (Private OLOE, Nov. 2, 2002)

“…When you are loyal to Jesus and serve Him unselfishly….your thoughts and desires will become holy….With His grace the many things which seem impossible to attain or achieve will become easy….As you surrender yourself to His Will, you will gain victory over worldly possessions.  You will gain insight and victory in His wisdom and power….You will grow in holiness, and you will become more and more like Jesus until you are sanctified and live in perfect union with Him….”  (Public OLOE, July 31, 1997)

“…Remember, you have received a great gift of victory through Jesus.  You have the power of the Holy Spirit to enlighten and sanctify you, and you have the Love of the Father Who regulates and orchestrates everything through Jesus so that you might live in union with the Holy Trinity.  The limiting factor is whether you choose to do His Will or your own….The grace from God is to sustain you for today.  Tomorrow’s grace will come as you fulfill God’s works tomorrow.  Be at peace as you fulfill God’s Will in your works each day….”  (Public OLOE, Nov. 6, 1997)

“…But thanks be to God,

who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ….”

(1 Cor 15:57)

“…It is my Son, as the Child Jesus, who will usher in the new era of peace, to give you hope and invite all the world to be enthroned in His virtues.  It is not the end of the world as you know it, but a hope for a new beginning.  In the end my Son, the righteous, glorified Savior, will come as your Just Judge.  Therefore, do not be afraid.  Await His arrival with great anticipation and joy.  There is tremendous evil in the world and my little Jesus will be looking to find those with little and pure hearts.  Those with pure hearts trust in Him and are not afraid.  They are the Light of Jesus and are filled with hope….”  (Public OLOE, Sept. 30, 1999)

“   Give yourselves to my Son in an act of pure and total love…..Place everything at his Feet; the little feet of my Son, Who as the child Jesus in His gentleness and purity, gave Himself unreservedly and ever so sweetly through the last steps He walked without any regrets as the Son of Man, the Man of Sorrows.

“Do not be afraid, children, for Jesus is your victory.  Do not be afraid to step into the darkness of His Passion because this is where your victory and glory in My Son are fulfilled.  This is where you will be able to identify with Him, in your trial of faith; and this is how you become beautiful and are transformed in His Love….”  (Public OLOE, Sept. 7, 2000)

“Little children, do not fear….Please trust in God’s Love, remain focused on Him and know that evil shall be slain….”  (Private OLOE, July 11, 2003)

“…Evil shall not reign; and you will see, as was often before prophesized, my beloved Pope guiding the ship, holding the Eucharist, and leading His flock.  Yes, the Eucharist will reign, the Eucharistic Reign of my Child Jesus, a reign in which He is hidden, and yet so profound and omnipotent in His Presence, glorifying God the Father,  Yes, evil shall be silenced, as the hostile spirits are cast into the Lion’s mouth, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the Root of David, where they shall be slain; and Peace will reign, and all people will live in the beauty and tranquility of freedom….”  (Private OLOE Jan. 15, 2005)

“…For the Lord takes pleasure in his people;

he adorns the humble with victory….”

(Ps 149:4)

“…In all humility and as humble servants, in the Light of God you all are invited to allow God to be greater and you to be lesser.  When you move aside, then God is everything, and you are filled with Joy and freedom; but it takes wisdom and the Light of the Holy Spirit.  Then through your prayer and faith, you can realize that you must become lesser so God can became all!...When that is accomplished, then all joy, hope, faith and freedom are yours.  Ultimately, there is victory over evil because you are possessed by One—and that is good!—the Body and Blood of my Son Who can inebriate you and totally absorb you into His Most Sacred Heart….”  (Private OLOE, Jan. 10, 2010)

“…As a human body will die, my Son lives and will never die.  His suffering was for your redemption so that death from all evil would never take hold of you and so that you would have the opportunity to live with Him forever.  What love surpasses His Love?”  (Public OLOE, Apr. 6, 2008)

“…Your name, O God, like your praise,

reaches to the ends of the earth.

Your right hand is filled with victory….”

(Ps 48:10)

OLOE and the Triumph

“…Because He hath regarded the humility of his handmaid;

for behold from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed….”

(Lk 1:48)

Unique to the Catholic Christian understanding of the eschatology, or study of the end times, the end of this era, is the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the salvation of humanity.  Although sketchily noted in Sacred Scripture, it is defined in more detail through Sacred Tradition as well as the Church-approved and yet to be approved private revelation. Through the writings of the Popes and canonized saints of these last 200 years there has been much added to this understanding.  So too, Our Lady of Emmitsburg explains this role in the relationship of her Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart with the Sacred Heart of her Son, and she promises the Triumph of that Covenant of their Two Hearts:

“…My Mother takes all My people into My Sacred Heart, where My Merciful Love flows, all who will allow her and who are willing to give to Me all of their being….Listen more than speaking.  Love, assist others, and pray for them.  Do not attempt to debate or be combative if you disagree, but do not allow yourself to be influenced.  Follow the way of My Mother…. (JOM, Vol IV, #32, July 18, 1992, Infinite Love)

“…Happy are My people who walk in the same trust and faith by which My Mother lived….Remember to walk simply, loving as she did, focusing on Me; and your peace will dwell within, even in the midst of struggle, suffering, confusion and turmoil, both physical and internal.  The way to live is as an empty vessel, waiting for Me to fill you….Victory in God results in trust.  Trust ends in victory….Happy is she, My Mother, Our Queen, for she trusted in the Word.  She listened to the Word and acted up on it in union with trust, and ended in victory.  The point of Assumption finished with a new beginning, ongoing in unity for your victory in Me, the place of beginning ending in victory and union for you….”  (JOM, Vol IV, #60, Aug. 15, 1992, The Beginning and The End)

“…I find joy in all who are dedicated to My Truth at all costs and who are consecrated to My Most Sacred Heart and My Mother’s Immaculate Heart.  The Two Hearts shall reign in victory and the day will come for them when all the world will know of the Triumph of the Two Hearts….”  (JOM, Vol V, #12, May 31, 1995, My Joy)

‘…The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

(Ps 27: 1)

“…I bless you in the Name of Jesus.  I thank Him for allowing me to be here with you in this special way.  My sole purpose is to direct you to Jesus….I desire nothing that is not centered on Jesus.  I am here to direct you to His Truth.  Peace to you.”  (Public OLOE, mar. 12, 1998)

“…I need an army who will face challenges with love and fidelity to God, and who will surrender in faithfulness to Him.  The battle against the Truth strikes, but the power of persistence, perseverance and Love results in freedom and peace and victory….”  (Public OLOE, Dec. 8, 1994)

“So, little ones, what is so important for you to know now is how important your focus must be on here, the Center of my most Sorrowful  and Immaculate Heart, the Center of my Immaculate Heart, where many will come to love God, to be safe, and to be here at this refuge in this most critical time in salvific history….”  (Private OLOE, Sept 5. 2010)

The Covenant of the Two Hearts

It was St. Paul who had first identified Jesus as the “New Adam” (1Cor 15:21-22, 45-49),and it was the Apostolic Fathers, Justin Martyr, Irenaeus and Tertullian, who first saw Mary as the “New Eve.”  And at the end of the 20th century, in 2000, Pope John Paul II so beautifully completed this image, making the theology of the Covenant of the Two Hearts even more understandable to the ordinary person:

“Mary has a unique relationship with the Second Person of the Trinity, the Word made Flesh, since she is directly involved in the mystery of the Incarnation.  She is His Mother and, as such, Christ honors and loves her.  At the same time, she recognized Him as her God and Lord, making herself a disciple with an attentive and faithful heart, and his generous associate in the work of Redemption.  In the Incarnate Word and in Mary, the finite distance between the Creator and creature became a supreme closeness. They are the holy space for the mysterious nuptials of the Divine nature with the human, the place where the Trinity is revealed for the first time and where Mary represents the new humanity, ready to take up again, in obedient love, the dialogue of the Covenant.”  (Pope John Paul II, Homily, Sept. 24, 2000)

“A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun,

with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars.”

(Rev. 12:1)

In her Messages to the world through Gianna, Our Lady of Emmitsburg shares her own insight regarding the Covenant of the Two Hearts:

“My Immaculate Heart will triumph with my Son, and I desire you to be strong at the hour of His coming.  This world will be purged of its evil, for my Son’s Mercy will restore your souls to grace through the great trial and will lift this world out of its misery….For this next era will be the Covenant of Our Two Hearts…”  (Public OLOE, Mar. 2, 2000)  “The unveiling of my Son’s Divine Mercy is a springtime of grace and brings with it tremendous hope for a new tomorrow.  This will be all in the time God has planned, all in God’s time.  Life is a gift.  Death is a gift.  All is a gift if you dwell within the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.”  (Private OLOE, Nov. 1, 2003)

What is the Covenant of the Two Hearts?

“I will put enmity between you and the woman,

and between your offspring and hers.

She will strike at your head, while you strike at her heel.”

(Gen 3:15)

“I am the Mother of God.  I am not God.  I am pleased to be His faithful and humble handmaid.  I am also your Mother.  I am also pleased to protect you as a mother protects her child.  I am pleased to direct you to Jesus and present you to your King in a manner most desirable to Him.  Our Hearts are inseparable because I desire what He desires.  That is why the Covenant of the Two Hearts will triumph!  Your heart can also be inseparable if you desire only what He desires.”  (Public OLOE, Mar. 19, 1998)  In the midst of this confusion, my Immaculate Heart will triumph and Jesus will reign.  Just when Satan believes he has corrupted the Rock of Peter and that he will be crowned with victory, God will then reveal the Truth, gather His people, and expose the many myths and fallacies which are deceiving you….You can victoriously march through these clouds of evil if you are safely hidden in the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.”  (Public OLOE, Aug, 28, 1997)

“Love and compassion overflow from the Covenant of Our Two Hearts.” (Public OLOE, Nov. 3, 1994)  “My Heart is a vessel through which goodness and graces shall flow from God above.  It is the Heart that my Son warmed in my womb.  His is there also.  He has received my Heart; and so the Two are One, I in Him, and He in me.  It is because our Hearts are united that it is the Covenant of Two Hearts where all mercy and graces shall abound in tremendous glory.”  (Private OLOE, Feb. 24, 2003)

“…But, thanks be to God,

Who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession,

and through us spreads in every place

the fragrance that comes from knowing Him….”

(2 Cor 2:14)

Who Benefits from the Covenant of the Two Hearts?

“Woman, behold your son”….And to the disciple, “Behold your mother.”

(Jn 19:26-27)

“All are welcome!  Many of those people who were initially against my most Immaculate Heart are now beginning to ponder whether their reaction was too quick, asking for God’s Mercy, especially if they are found to be in error; and that time will come!  Yet, all of you who have been dedicated to the Triumph of the Two Hearts, the Covenant of the Two Hearts, will be a tremendous Light and will lead victoriously those in tremendous need of healing.”  (Private OLOE, May 28, 2006)

Prayer to Our Lady of Victory

O victorious Lady!

Thou who has ever such powerful influence with thy Divine Son in conquering the hardest of hearts, intercede for those for whom we pray, that their hearts being softened by the rays of Divine grace, they may return to the unity of the true Faith, through Christ, our Lord. Amen
