The Characteristics of Wisdom

WISDOM

A Gift of the Holy Spirit

(Compiled by Michael T. Sullivan, MD)

"…Today, every human being, every precious soul has an opportunity

to say 'yes' or to say 'no'.

Listen, and you will hear words of wisdom and enlightenment,

words to follow, Truth in life, yours to be had…."

(Private OLOE, June 28, 2008)

The Gifts of the Holy Spirit

"The spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him:

a spirit of wisdom and of understanding, spirit of counsel and of strength,

a spirit of knowledge and of fear of the Lord."

(Is 11:2)

As expressed in the Catholic Encyclopedia (New Advent), to the Holy Spirit are attributed the operations of grace and the sanctification of souls, and in particular, spiritual gifts and fruits.  The 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit are freely given by God (Is 11:2-3), and they are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord.   These are considered supernatural and permanent qualities which make us attentive to the voice of God, which render us susceptible to the workings of actual grace, which make us love the things of God, and which consequently render us more obedient and docile to the inspirations of the Holy Spirit.  As permanent qualities, they can be nurtured over a lifetime to bring about our eternal reward, or they can be neglected and starved over a lifetime and convict us to our eternal damnation.

Introduction Wisdom Part - 1

Now we will ponder what has been given to the world through Gianna Talone Sullivan by God the Father in His Words, Our Lord Jesus Christ in His Lessons, and Our Lady of Emmitsburg in her Messages to the world regarding "wisdom" and how it may apply to each of our very own spiritual journeys.

Part III

The Characteristics of Wisdom

Certainly there are both overlaps and interrelationships among all of the gifts and the fruits of the Holy Spirit.  When addressing Wisdom specifically, there are several attributes or virtuous actions that are repeatedly referred to by Our Lord and Our Lady in their private revelation.  These characteristics and/or attributes include prayer, silence before speech, humility, Truth, Light and Love, embracing the Cross and a thirst for the Eucharist.  In our desire to grow in wisdom as well as in any and all of these gifts, Our Lord reminds us that no matter where we are or to what height we may have climbed or depth to which we have plunged on our spiritual journey, we are all still novices:

"If you knew the glory to come, you would not complain of your burden now….Be patient and endure all burden, for it is delegated through the Hand of God.  Nothing will happen that God's Hand is not also there….I use people and various other sources, all related in one form or another to you, to purify you.  Your response dictates your progress.  All my people are novices in this life, no matter what age, no matter what experience or wisdom is given."  (JOM, Vol IV, #58, Aug. 13, 1992)

A.  Prayer

"But if any of you want wisdom, let him ask of God,

who gives to all men abundantly and ungrudgingly;

and he will be given it."

(James 1:5)

Our Lord in His Lessons reminds us of the simplicity and openness He desires in our prayer for wisdom.  In the absence of these, we just "don't get it":

"People do not realize how I desire simplicity in prayer, speaking through their hearts, as friend to friend.  A rapture of Love only I can give, but I will give them this great gift if they would but persevere.  Many people 'don't get it' as you say, because they have not prayed for wisdom.  All must be open, or they cannot receive the gifts.  So I give to a select few who continue to desire Me and do not waiver in times of scandal, persecutions or controversies."  (OUR LORD to Gianna, Private Oct. 22, 2008)

How to Pray

"He was praying in a certain place, and when He had finished,

one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, teach us to pray…"

(Lk 11:1)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg indicates how it is through faithfulness to prayer that we are able to gain access to all the marks of Heaven, including wisdom.  This prayer to be most fruitful must be such that we lose ourselves to God, praying from the heart, petitioning healing and cleansing, praying in the family and trusting in the power of that prayer:

"I invite you to pray and to be loyal to God, because fidelity and loyalty are the marks of a true friend.  They are the zeal and the seal of perfection, truth, purity, wisdom, courage, compassion, forgiveness, integrity, meekness, kindness, fortitude and perseverance.  All are marks of Heaven."  (Private OLOE, Apr. 6, 2010)

"What is important is that you lose yourself to God so that you can fulfill yourself and gain everything through Him.  When you give your works of love, you are giving back to yourself and purifying yourself to remain within God.  And you will be with Him!  You will be rewarded in the end….Vigilance and wisdom come through prayer, and the Holy Spirit will guide you because many people today are scattered.  You can bring them back and help heal them with God's Love."  (Private OLOE, Aug. 16, 2009)

"Little ones, the world is in tremendous turmoil; and every place, every country and every area that you can imagine is being dissected and is in turmoil.  Pray with all your heart that God will spare you from the events to unfold due to the lack of commitment, the lack of charitable love and the lack of faithfulness to Him….You must give to God all of who you are and ask Him to heal you, to guide you, to give you knowledge and wisdom and prudence and to cleanse you.  You are to lead, and to lead you have to be pure in all areas.  God knows the areas in which you need to be purified."  (Private OLOE, Aug. 12, 2009)

"Because today so few families pray, there are fights and violence at all levels, beginning with children and through adults--different levels and different circumstances.  But because you pray as a family, you are protected and safe.  You will receive the Wisdom from Heaven as I received it….I desire all people to know the truth about prayer….All I can tell you is that you are blessed because you take the time and believe in the power of prayer.  For those who have, much more will be given.  For those who have not, the little they have will be lost."  (Private OLOE, Mar. 1, 2008)

"Thank you for praying with all your heart….God will bless you.  The more you talk to Him, the more He will give you--great gifts, not gifts of this world, but gifts as you grow older you will need, like knowledge and wisdom, patience and perseverance, strength and courage, abandonment and acceptance, great joy and tremendous humility, and everlasting peace.  (Private OLOE, Apr. 18, 2009)

Why Pray?

"…Therefore, we do not cease praying for you and asking

that you may be filled with the knowledge of His Will

through all spiritual wisdom and understanding…"

(Col 1:9)

In a world that seems to be in such turmoil, it may sound foolish to ask the question, "Why pray?"  However, in a climate in which it has become so politically incorrect to speak of God or prayer, this certainly appears to be a concept that is not very well understood.  Our Lady of Emmitsburg shares her thoughts on the value of prayer in this tumultuous world:

"When you pray, and you come and pour your heart out to my Son, especially before Him in the Most Blessed Sacrament, He already knows what is in your heart.  That God allows you to come before my Son and adore Him in the midst of your turmoil and distractions, and to rest your souls in Him, is a tremendous gift to you and a request from God that should be heeded at all costs….

"…To thank Him, to love Him, to give all of whom you are, with every emotion and every fiber of your being, or even without emotion, is a great gift from you to God. Because God loves the human being, He allows emotions to surface, and most graciously He desires to hear your prayer.  But He also desires for you to listen so that He can give to you both discreetly and invisibly the strength and the wisdom you need…."  (Private OLOE, July 12, 2006)

"As you pray with all your heart, things can change, not only within your life, but within the world.  The importance of prayer is beyond comprehension and words.  You do not see the effects of prayer; and yet, I continue to invite you to pray more and more.  For through prayer, you will be able to have the knowledge of what is good and what is bad.  You will be able to have the wisdom to know the Truth and that which is false….The effects of prayer continue daily.  Look to all the rewarding effects to come, for God loves this world, as do I, in hope that humanity will look towards the One True God.  All are invited to return, not only when times are bad and for but a limited time, but for eternal life where there is no time."  (Private OLOE. Oct. 7, 2008)

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another

 and pray for one another that you may be healed.

The fervent prayer of a righteous person is very powerful."

(Jam 5:16)

B.  Silence

"There is an appointed time for everything,

a time for every affair under the heavens….

A time to be silent, and a time to speak…"

(Ecc 3:1,7)

So many people in our fast-paced world, especially the youth and young adults caught up in all of the various social media outlets, seldom find time or even have any appreciation for silence.  That being the case, with their time people living in other eras may have had room for prayer and meditation, but now no longer find it even a worthwhile commodity.  Our Lord in His Lessons, however, emphasizes this misplaced prioritization.  Is it any wonder that so many of us either drift from God's Will or are never even aware of it?

"Those who are novices should be careful to be discreet and silent, lest they fall into deceit.  It is better to be quiet and in a state of solitude than to see yourselves through your own eyes of wisdom, seldom allowing yourselves to be governed by others.  Silence will allow you to be ruled by God, and provide the way to flourish in the gifts of humility and divine charity.  It is far better to be weak in understanding and to have a lack of knowledge than to be lacking in humility and charity."  (JOM, Vol IV, #14, Feb. 22, 1992)

"I desire My people to take the time to reflect in silence on My Love and My Will for them…..It is through prayer and contemplation that peace resides in the heart.  In peace can you discern the Way of God.  Prayer and contemplation allow you to be at peace with yourself, no matter what distractions or confusion surround you….Most importantly, I want to speak to My people and fill them with all they desire:  the freedom, the peace, the joy, wisdom and happiness of the heart; but they deny themselves and Me by not adhering to My request to pray within the silence of the heart….Simplicity of life and My Will for you reside in the silence of your heart!  Seek Me there, and you shall find Me and your joy…."   (JOM, Vol V, #17, Sept. 19, 1995)

"Behold, the fear of the Lord is wisdom;

and avoiding evil is understanding."

(Job 28:28)

"Why do I seek those who are little children in simpleness and of little influence?  Because they listen and are totally dependent on Me.  In their dependency stems a solid mature spiritual character, one different and unique from each other and all people.  They march valiantly in the wisdom of silence of the heart, a silence where Love dwells and Peace resides.  The voice of their prayers slays the dragons of evil and those who desire violence and destruction.  I love my little ones and invite all to follow the way of littleness as that of My Mother, so secure in her fidelity to follow God at all costs without consolation or promises.  I desire children of hope, those who will continue to fight the battle through prayer and little ways regardless of the current events of the world…."  (JOM, Vol V, #16, Sept. 9, 1995)

"It is true wisdom to simply be in silence and solitude rather than to speak much of your journey.  It is those who follow the Truth, look towards God and live in silence, without seeking consolation….The progress in your spiritual journey does not consist of the grace of consolation, but instead, of bearing the desire for it with humility and patience!…Humility is a grace; and silence and solitude, through divine contemplation, are the catalysts to humility.  Those who choose to be quiet through prayer and discipline, even though it may be difficult, are graced with true wisdom and lack of self-conceit.  I am speaking of silence, not being secretive.  I am speaking of developing and nurturing the soul through intimacy…."  (JOM, Vol IV, #14, Feb. 22, 1992)

"He who guards his mouth protects his life;

to open wide one's lips brings downfall."

(Prov 13:3)

Speech

"…My message and my words were not with persuasive words of wisdom,

but with a demonstration of Spirit and power,

so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom

but on the power of God."

(1Cor 2:4-5)

Although we may not be using periods of silence to rest in Jesus, we often do fill that time with extraneous speech.  Our Lady of Emmitsburg encourages her children to be conscious of our fallible words and the damage they can cause.  She notes that it is only when we are rooted in holy wisdom can we be sure that our words communicate God's Love, even if to fraternally chastise:

"Seek to be cleansed of all your sins so that you will gain the joys of Heaven….  Please be conscious of your words and opinions of one another.  You scorn and sneer at those who do not seem virtuous or guided by the same principles of eternal wisdom.  Yet, you have counted yourself among the righteous and pious….Be mindful that no one is infallible."  (Public OLOE, Feb. 2, 1995)

"At this point what's necessary is that you do not become distracted, and that you focus on the simplicity of prayer….meaning that you could be wrong or you may be right.  It is not a debate, it is about surrendering in Love; and the Truth will be made known.  How you form together and grow in prayer is what is important.  But so much damage and distraction is caused by the lips.  What comes through the tongue is what is within the heart…..It may be processed through the mind; but ultimately, it comes from the heart.  Sometimes it is simple, and sometimes it is very difficult to understand and is complicated by words.  That doesn't matter.  What matters is that your focus be simple and remain on God."  (Private OLOE Aug. 30, 2010)

"May the holy wisdom of speech be yours so that you may be able to speak words of Love and even to chastise and challenge in a format most pleasing to God and centered on Love."  (Private OLOE, May 13, 2006)

"Whoever would love life and see good days must keep the tongue from evil and the lips from speaking deceit, must turn from evil and do good,

seek peace and follow after it."

(1Pet 3:10-11)

C.  Humility

"Where pride is, there also shall be reproach;

but where humility is, there also is wisdom."

(Prov 11:2)

Another one of those foundational virtues from which true wisdom cannot be separated is true humility.  What greater examples of this do we have than the examples given us by both Our Lord and His Beloved Mother during His horrible Passion and Death?  Our Lord takes the time to explain to us what a humble heart entails and where to find the whispering wind of Wisdom:

"A humble heart is a heart who loves what is Heavenly in the midst of a human existence.  A humble heart is one who always wills and desires that which is most acceptable to Me….If you seek merry things for your own interest, you will not find rest or freedom or peace; because in everything for which you search, defect will always exist.  But if you are humble of heart, continuously searching to please God and tending to Heavenly things, you will secure a lasting foundation, one seeded in great wisdom and purity."    (JOM, Vol IV, #31, July 17, 1992)

"Those who desire to remain with Me, I, in My infinite Wisdom, chastise now in order that they will reign with Me and share in My glory.  I desire to teach them now and encourage them to be 'little' children, little in all ways:  actions, thoughts, deeds and speech; little through simplicity and humility of heart.

"Do not mistake ‘littleness’ with lack of power.  Littleness is detachment from possessions and is purity of heart.  It is simpleness and the wisdom to avoid the influence of wickedness."  (JOM, Vol V, #18, Sept. 11, 1995)

And from Our Lord:

"Be at peace, and know humility in life obtains Wisdom and Love itself.  For Wisdom is God, and God's image within His creatures is dispensed at His choosing.  Blessed are those who seek Wisdom herself, for they seek God.  The fruits of Wisdom are truth, humility, knowledge, understanding as well as being agile and calm, subtle and kind, pure and holy….In the empty void of nothingness, you will find the whispering wind of Wisdom."  (OUR LORD, Private, Oct. 30, 2008)

"For a word was stealthily brought to me,

and my ear caught a whisper of it."

(Job 4:12)

The time in which we live is what many believe to be the most important in salvation history since the Crucifixion, Death and Resurrection of Our Lord.  Our Lady of Emmitsburg emphasizes that it is a time when humility is paramount to avoid the stumble and fall which could result in the loss of souls, our own as well as those who need our help:

"It is the time when humility must take the place of pride.  Those who are humble shall confuse those who are well learned.  Those who think that they have the God-given gifts of knowledge and wisdom may very well stumble and fall.  This is a very important moment in history, a moment when things will change. All this time of preparation, suffering, confusion, struggle, interior turmoil and distractions will come together and fit like a puzzle."  (Private OLOE, Oct. 7, 2003)

"Those of you, who continue to love and to receive my Son's Love, realize that all you have is not what you yourself have gained, but what He has given unconditionally as a gift to you.  By yourself, you can do nothing!  The more you grow and know this--that you  are nothing in this world, but totally dependent on this next world of my Son--then you receive an infusion of grace, then new waters pour over you and you are refreshed, not only with wisdom and knowledge, but with other virtues as well."  (Private OLOE. Mar. 18, 2009)

"The wisdom of the humble shall exalt his head,

and shall make him sit in the midst of great men."

(Ecclesiasticus 11:1)

D.  Truth & Light & Love

"For behold, thou hast loved truth;

the uncertain and hidden things of thy wisdom

thou has made manifest to me."

(Ps 50:8)

First, Our Lord and then Our Lady of Emmitsburg describe how intimately God's Truth & His Light are entwined with true Wisdom to make it possible both to desire and to accomplish avoiding evil and to actually become the Love that others will want and that we will desire to share:

"Live your life now for the True Way of Peace and Joy to be attained through your efforts in this world.  Give of yourself without looking for acknowledgment, recognition or repayment from those to whom you give.  Simply look to the Heavens!  Raise your eyes to Me, and I shall fill you so fully that you will overflow with graces and virtues of satisfaction.  Blessed is he who seeks the Truth and Wisdom of Heaven, and not of this world!  My words are Truth.  My words are Wisdom.  Happy and blessed are they who listen, follow and abandon unto Truth.  They are my wise; and to them more shall be given…."  (JOM, Vol IV, #47, Aug. 2, 1992)

Our Lady of Emmitsburg continues:

"God is Light, and you need light in order to see.  Light reveals what is hidden in darkness….He will show you which path you are walking and which path is the Way of Truth….I am here to gather my children….I point to my Son Who gifts wisdom to all who desire to know the Truth and receive the Light to know themselves.  Jesus has come to save you, little ones, not condemn you.  He is merciful, but you must desire the Truth and desire charity accompanied by patience and compassion to dwell in your souls.  There is no room for evil.  Jesus will not tolerate evil acts, and His Justice will prevail; but He is merciful to the repentant sinner."  (Public OLOE, Aug. 19, 1999)

"Now what wisdom is, and what was her origin, I will declare;

and I will not hide from you the mysteries of God,

but will seek her out from the beginning of her birth,

and bring the knowledge of her to light and will not pass over the truth…"  (Wisdom 6:24)

"You struggle with false values because you like to have security and be sure of your future.  Open your hearts and my Son will change you into His Glorious Self.  You seek alternatives by only speculating the truth instead of walking through the doorway to His Love.  You lose your wisdom when you alienate yourself from His desires and His Truth because of fear.  You close your hearts and become timid when you begin to focus on yourselves instead of confidently placing wholeheartedly and unreservedly, your trust in God…..Recommit yourself by surrendering to God's Will.  Do not tell God you are not ready.  You need to respond if you want to learn how to love and to have your being in God.  Incline your ears, hear His words, and apply your hearts to His Doctrine."  (Public OLOE, May 18, 2000)

"When your lives have been fulfilled and your works completed,  those of you who have grown in age and wisdom know the great grace of deciding for good over evil and the hard work you have done.  But it is not the same today as it was yesterday, for the moment now is different than yesterday.  However, the outcome can be the same because, when Love is the source and core of all your prayers, then all your incentives and efforts regardless of age and wisdom, lead back to the Truth, as if it was yesterday.  You become like a newborn child, comforted within the womb of God."  (Private OLOE, Feb. 11, 2007)  "So whether you are young or whether you have aged, whether you are learning or whether you have acquired wisdom, it is the same message, simple and pure:  'If you truly love, people will want to be with you and grasp what you have.' "  (Private OLOE. Aug. 23, 2006)

"Wisdom and discipline

and the knowledge of the law are with God.

Love and the ways of good things are with Him…."

(Ecclesiasticus 11:15)

E.  The Cross

"For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the Gospel;

and not with the wisdom of human eloquence,

so that the Cross of Christ might not be emptied of its meaning."

(1Cor 1:17)

Suffering and death--those elements of Christianity that sooner or later meet each of us head on!  Our Lady of Emmitsburg reassures each of her children that it is in only this way--the Way of her Son-- that we can be gifted with that wisdom which we so inconsistently  seek. It is through meditating on His Passion that we can not only embrace, but even learn to love those crosses which God Himself has chosen for us, not just for the sake of the suffering, but rather for the purpose of becoming all of whom He created each of us to be in this world and for all eternity.  In this way the energy of God's Love will allow us to become the pillars of Light this world so desperately needs at this "end of an era":

"Your redemption and freedom have been secured by my Son's suffering and His death.  All you must do is continue to change through prayer and through the desire to do good….A simple life is a most secure way, so that you are not enticed or distracted from doing good.  Wisdom is yours to be had, and God's blessing is always upon you."  (Private OLOE, Sept. 15, 2008)

"Those of you who seek wisdom know that wisdom comes from accepting crosses--to bear and to live fully--surrendering in love and charity to what God desires, and yet to be enlightened in those areas where you need change.  You cannot receive a greater gift than wisdom, because underlying wisdom is faith, hope and love.  Seek the Truth, and there you shall have it…."  (Private OLOE, Nov. 2, 2008)

"Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake,

and in my flesh I am filling up

what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of his body,

which is the Church…."

(Col 1:24)

"Little ones, do not be discouraged when at times you are afflicted with trials.  Jesus allows this to happen, but He then restores His tranquility in you….You must desire to imitate Jesus and follow Him in His Passion.  By meditating on the Passion of my Son, you will attain the summit of perfection in His Love.  It is the Bread of Life, little ones, which starves the loves of worldly affections but gives wisdom to those who embrace the Cross."  (Public OLOE, Mar. 30, 1995)

"…You have endured much suffering.  As you suffer, you grow in patience.  As you grow in patience, you grow in wisdom; and wisdom grants you the grace to be all to all people--gentle and kind, listening and pure….God has allowed you to be enlightened in the areas that you need to change; however, through unity and love of one another, you have rallied together in support to help one another….Self-pity is removed and joy is instilled within the weaknesses of the body.  Then God Himself will grant you more graces, more abundantly than you have ever known before."  (Private OLOE, Aug. 31, 2009)

"…Therefore the wisdom of God said,

'I will send to them prophets and apostles;

 some of them they will kill and persecute….'"

(Lk 11:49)

"The more hardships you have, the closer you are to my Son, for through this purification, you are granted to be a beautiful rose within His Thorns, closer to His Heart, and called beyond others to be the Light of Christ.  Through wisdom you gain purity of heart and a vision that is clear, sincere and without guile, simple, gentle and humble."  (Private OLOE, Nov. 19, 2007)

"Day after day you are surrounded by many things of the world.  As you know, things today do not seem so happy or supportive.  It seems that the burden is great.  Just remember that this is the way of the world, but interiorly my Son has always said, 'Come to Me, all of you who are weak and seeking comfort.  Come rest in Me, for my burden is light.' (Mt 11:28-30)

"Take His yoke, children; and there you will see and feel comfort, even in the midst of struggle and trials….Your weakness will be turned into strength, and your soul will be uplifted and empowered.  The Wisdom and the energy of God's Love will rejuvenate you to continue on in being His Light."  (Private OLOE, June 11, 2008)

"I will lead the blind on their journey;

and by paths unknown I will guide them.

I will turn darkness into light before them,

and make crooked ways straight.

These things I will do for them, and I will not forsake them….

Who of you gives ear to this?

Who listens and pays heed for the time to come?"

(Is 42: 16, 23)

F.  Holy Eucharist

"With the bread of life and understanding, she shall feed him,

and give him the water of wholesome wisdom to drink;

and she shall be made strong in him,

and he shall not be moved."

(Ecclesiasticus 15:5)

The world is now filled with prophetic voices, some who have stood the test of time over many years, and some new voices.  The internet has made these words and messages available in every part of the world almost instantaneously.  Many seemingly credible voices are saying the same consistent things about the state of the world and the imminent Warning, a tremendous gift of God's Mercy---the Warning or Illumination of the Soul.  There may also be contradictory voices, many after the Warning.  How can the faithful best discern what to do and who to believe in this new tomorrow?  Our Lady of Emmitsburg's answer:  Prayer and the Eucharist!

"…Be cautious of those who claim that they know whom God should choose and use as a vessel for His Words.  There is no theologian, no priest, no authority in Mother Church who in certainty can say who is or is not receiving words from Heaven.  God chooses whom God desires, of either gender, of all races and of all ages.  I do not come only to peasants.  I come to whomever God allows me to come….Yes indeed, you must use prudence and holy wisdom to discern what is true and what is not.  That comes through prayer and through a closer union with God in the Eucharist.  But you must have an open heart.  For if you do not, then you will be held accountable for the sin of omission."  (Public OLOE, Aug. 6, 2006)

"My Son is the Living Presence Who once sanctified Himself as an offering for you so that you might be able to live in Him forever and be victorious over the grips of evil's persuasion…..Look to Jesus and you will be looking at a Eucharistic Jesus in the Mystical Presence of His True Body and Blood shed as the price for your salvation and freedom…He is the center of unity for all nations, the unifying force, the Light from which Wisdom flows in the brilliance of His Love…..He is your Life, your strength and the unifying force to peace….Only in Him can Truth exist because He is Truth itself.  Only in the Eucharistic Jesus can unity prevail…"  (Public OLOE, June 15, 2000)

In this new tomorrow I encourage you to look to my Son in the Most Holy Eucharist.  This Eucharistic Reign is one in which my Son comes to you….It is one in which my Son should be in the tabernacles in all the churches and schools in the world, in as many places as possible; because He shall enrich you and give you the insight and prudence and wisdom to carry on."  (Public OLOE, Jan. 1, 2004)

"I am the Bread of Life.  Whoever comes to Me will never hunger,

and whoever believes in Me will never thirst….

This is the Will of My Father that I should not lose

anything of what He gave Me, but that I should raise it on the last day….

I am the Living Bread that came down from heaven;

whoever eats this bread will live forever;

and the Bread that I will give is My Flesh for the life of the world."

(Jn 6: 34-35, 40, 51)

End of Wisdom--Part III

(to be continued)
